The small apartment consists of a spacious room, with a splendid view, very bright and tastefully furnished, a separate, pretty, functional and complete kitchen with all appliances and a bathroom with shower and window. In addition, the property has a covered terrace, from which you can admire the full view of the lake and where you can have lunch, enjoy a drink or read a book in the absolute peace of the place. Maximum privacy and relaxation! The car park is a few meters from the entrance of the apartment.

Great stay in Stresa

Fun stay in Stresa. Apartment great and communication with Laura also great. Views over the lake fantastic. The apartment is a walk from the centre so bare that in mind! We found it OK but could be more difficult for others.

Beautiful apartment with lovely views

Great apartment with everything you could need. Perfect for couples. The view over the lake is stunning. There is a woodland path that takes you into Stresa (takes 20-25 mins). We didn’t have a car and managed to get around but you could definitely explore more of the area with a car

Stunning views

Laura is an excellent host, friendly, helpful and informative and speaks good English. The property has stunning views of lakes and mountains from inside and the balcony. It is mostly nicely decorated and well equipped. There is occasional noise from trains and other apartments, but this wasn't a problem. The property location on the Vrbo map is not correct, Stresa is a moderately strenuous 1.5 mile walk along a hilly, partly rough path. A blackout blind on the front door would be useful.

Laura was a great host. The apartment is quite a challenge to find for the first time , she was on hand to guide us . She also spent a lot of time giving us tourist ideas of where to go and what to see , and with WhatsApp she was always on hand to answer questions. The apartment was delightful, perfect for 2 people with everything you could need in it ( UK people , remember to bring a power adaptor to convert from Euro style to UK ) . A beautiful view of the lake and mountains and pleaty to see and do whatever the season or weather . Thank you Laura , hope to return to see Stresa in the summer…

Beautiful and peaceful location

The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each night. Stresa is easy to navigate with great restaurants. Ferry and train service is good. Laura gave us the number for a local taxi and we were able to prearrange rides to the train station.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Stresa. Die Wohnung war super und man hat sowohl von drinnen als auch vom Balkon einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See und Berge. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, das war aber für uns ok.Laura ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin – freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, sie hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Sie spricht gut Englisch und auch ein bisschen Deutsch. Gelegentlich hört man Geräusche von Zügen, das war aber nicht störend.

Die Unterkunft hat eine wunderbare Aussicht, die wir jeden Tag genossen haben. Es war sauber, gut ausgestattet und gut gelegen. Innerhalb weniger Minuten ist man mit dem Auto unten in der Stadt. Wenn man Lust auf eine kleine Wanderung hat, ist man in ca 30 Minuten im Zentrum. Großer Pluspunkt ist der Parkplatz an der Unterkunft. Sonst wäre es sehr sehr schwierig was zu finden. Die Unterkunft kann man auch gut mit einem Kind buchen, wobei man sich bewusst sein muss, dass es kein extra Kinderzimmer gibt. Für uns war es nicht nötig, denn unsere 10 Monate alte Tochter hatte ausreichend Platz. Auf Nachfrage wurde ein Kinderstuhl und ein Kinderbett mit der notwendigen Ausstattung zur Verfügung gestellt. Mit einer Kraxe konnten man auch ohne Probleme die kleine Wanderung ins Zentrum machen. Laura ist eine sehr freundliche und fürsorgliche Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns persönlich empfangen, uns viele wertvolle Tipps (Ausflüge, Einkaufen etc.) gegeben und war jeder Zeit erreichbar. Außerdem gab es ein Willkommengetränk (Prosecco und Wasser) und Spezialgebäck aus Stresa, was beides köstlich war. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Wir würden diese jederzeit auch nochmal buchen.

Es war sehr schön. Das Apartment war für uns völlig ausreichend. Der Blick auf dem See ist ein Traum und gibt einem soviel Ruhe. Der Weg zum Apartment war für uns völlig okay, manch einem wären die schmalen Straßen vielleicht zu schwer. Laura ist sehr herzliche und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns viele Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants gegeben. Sie war immer für uns erreichbar. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder kommen

Eine ideale Örtlichkeit zum Entspannen, charmant und ansprechend eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man brauchen könnte, mit tollem Blick auf den See. Die sehr freundlichen Vermieter stehen einem bei allen Fragen zur Seite.Wenn man schlank ist hat man kein Probleme sich in der Duschkabine zu erfrischen. Der See ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, auch Stresa in nur ca. einer 1/2 Stunde

Entspannter Urlaub mit wundervoller Aussicht

Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub in einer tollen Wohnung mit wundervoller Aussicht auf den See. Frühstück im Freien mit Sonnenaufgang, wunderbares Farbenspiel am Himmel und am gegenüberliegenden Ufer beim Abendessen auf der kleinen Terrasse. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte, sogar eine kleine Spülmaschine und eine Klimaanlage. Die Wohnung liegt etwas oberhalb von Stresa und das Zentrum ist über einen kleinen Wanderweg in ca. 20-25 Minuten erreichbar. Laura ist eine wunderbar herzliche Gastgeberin, immer auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht und immer für Rückfragen zur Verfügung. Sie hat auch sehr viele gute Ausflugstipps für Stresa und Umgebung auf Lager. Sehr gerne komme ich wieder!

Lac Majeur - Orta

Merveilleux séjour à Stresa Nous étions venus il y a20 ans et nous avons redécouvert la région - Orta est magnifique et nous étions passés à coté Accueil - informations et "guidage" de la part de Laura excellent et chaleureux Pour la location - vue magnifique sur le lac Majeur - ce point vaut à lui seul le séjour - seul bémol accès pas simple (mais très bien renseigné par Laura) et la cuisine et la salle de bain auraient besoin d'un petit lifting AJP
