The accomadation was just perfect. You had 360 mountain views. It was ideallic sitting outside with a tea just admiring what was in front of you. Property was clean and had a lovely welcome feeling as you step inside. Plenty of walks and about 30 min drive to llanberis for climbing the mountain. Good pubs 3 miles away and very friendly. I would definatley come back here again. Loved it

The property felt generally unloved. The en suite toilet was blocked from the previous family and the cleaner had simply added bleach to the bowl without unblocking the mess. The general clenliness of window sills was poor, dead flies and woodlice. There were areas of the walls which had plaster missing, upstairs bathroom for example. The fridge had rust in it and the kettle top didnt open. A welcome brochure with local take away menu's and local information would have been nice. The floor was being scratched by the chair and table legs with coasters being used under the feet. The main bedroom curtains were so thin the light came straight in so had to use a blanket to cover it. The master bed was small and the bedside cabinets were too high meaning you could bang your face on the corner if not careful in the night. No tv in the bedrooms - not an issue for us but would have been a nice option after a long day. Washing machine room was unkempt and difficult to use. We were asked to leave a key for the owner to come in when we were out to check on a leak - no idea if anyone visited. Garden was neat and tidy although neighbours dog was barking everytime we went out! Overall lovely building but needs some attention particularly to the cleanliness. We ended up cutting our visit short and stayed in a hotel for the last night!

Outstanding views in a modern barn conversion

Really enjoyed our stay in North Wales and Y Stabal was a great location for Snowdonia national park and the many beaches on the Llyn Peninsula. The property has been brilliantly converted inside and the views out the back garden are spectacular. With a bit more love on some of the finishing touches it would be an outstanding place to stay. As example the master bed is a bit cheap and uncomfortable and lots of little minor breaks or issues with appliances. Nothing to majorly detract from our stay but for the price we paid I think there could be a bit more love put into minor details like this. On the whole though strongly recommended.
