The apartment was very nice and clean and the location is great. We had some trouble finding the key upon arrival, and communication was difficult until we managed to reach the owner which took longer than we would have liked. Once that was dealt with everything was fine

First of all, I have to say the apartment really does have a wonderful view of the mountains across the valley. The sleeping area upstairs is fairly well insulated, so even in the middle of summer it was possible to sleep quite comfortably. The apartment is also equipped with pretty much everything you need for a stay. That said, there were a few things that were quite frustrating. When we arrived, we realized the address listed on FeWo was actually wrong. After a long seven‑hour journey, we had to search around for quite some time and even call an English phone number just to find out where the apartment really was. Not exactly the start we were hoping for. On our second day, we wanted to use the sauna, but it didn’t work at all. Only about a day and a half later were we told that there was a hidden switch behind a cupboard door in the sauna’s anteroom that needed to be turned on. Honestly, I find that quite misleading — the sauna is advertised as a feature of the apartment, yet the way it was set up meant we essentially couldn’t use it. There were also some minor but annoying issues: when both showers were running at the same time and the kettle was on, the main fuse for the entire apartment blew. Each toilet had only a single roll of toilet paper provided, and for our six‑day stay we only had one dishwasher tab. Finally, when I asked whether we might get at least a small compensation for not being able to use the sauna, the host simply didn’t respond at all.

The flat as you say is in a beautiful location with wonderful views and is well equipped. So for a few things which did not meet your satisfaction to give a 4/10 rating seems disproportionate. We appreciate however your feedback which we will take into consideration to improve the holiday let and service experience. I do however want to say that in regards to the Sauna you wrote to me on the 7th and I replied on the 8th indicating where the switch is, so you had plenty of time to use the Sauna. Your request to us to be reimbursed 20 euros a day for this, again seemed disproportionate. Regarding the fuse this jumped because there were too many appliances and lights turned on at the same time, which is related to your use of the flat. In regards to the toilet rolls again we will take this on board and provide more, however please be aware this is a holiday let and not a hotel and as such certain items for personal use falls to the customer.

Nous sommes restés quatre semaines dans cet appartement et notre seul regret est de ne pas être restés plus longtemps... Le logement est spacieux (nous étions entre quatre et six personnes selon les semaines), bien équipé y compris d'une agréable terrasse et bénéficie d'une vue superbe sur le massif du Grand Paradis. Le petit village de Saint Nicolas, qui ne manque pas de charme, est implanté sur un versant sud ensoleillé et constitue un bon point de départ pour des randonnées panoramiques ou pour aller visiter la Vallée d'Aoste. Un très bon point de départ également pour ceux qui, comme nous, partiquent le ski de randonnée. Rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel pour un séjour de plusieurs semaines. Nous n'avons eu à appeler la propriétaire qu'une seule fois, au début de notre séjour, car nous ne comprenions pas comment utiliser le four et elle nous a renseignés immédiatement.

L'annonce ne correspond pas au descriptif. Décevant

Le parking au sous-sol n'est pas utilisable, impossible de rentrer une berline. Pas de bip pour la barrière. Une seule clé pour l'accès au logement. Pas de table et chaise sur le balcon. Internet inutilisable. Manque d'accessoires pour cuisiner, et de couverts pour 6 personnes. La douche ne fonctionne pas correctement. Manque d'eau chaude. Manque de pression d'eau. Les pièces sous le toit sont presque inutilisables car on risque de se cogner aux poutres à tout moment. Manque de prises de courant. Des interrupteurs à foison qui n'éclaire rien... J'ai l'habitude de louer sur Abritel, je ne suis pas difficile mais je tiens à signaler tout ces manquements que je trouve exagérés vu le prix de la location. La propriétaire va répondre à cette évaluation avec ces arguments, mais je ne pourrai pas le contredire en retour.

Een hele fijne woonplek. Piepkleine sauna die het eigenlijk gewoon niet deed. Jammer. Pila is een fijn skigebied, maar is toch ong 40 minuten bij elkaar.

The Sauna does work , did you get my message I left you, regarding the switch behind the cupboard which sometimes flips. As it is a mountain flat you need make sure other appliances are switched off when using the Sauna. I also tried to call you to tell you but I could not get through. We always use the Sauna when we go and we have never had a problem . Regarding the 40 min drive to Pila. If you drive to the car park and take the cabinavia it is much quicker. The flat is located in a beautiful spot and you have the benefit of going not only to pila but various resorts from there.

Cozy, well-equipped home in beautiful valley

This apartment is roomy and spacious but still feels cozy, and the fireplace and sauna are especially lovely after a day of skiing. A good location if you are looking to try out different ski resorts in the Aosta Valley, but most resorts are all located more than 1/2 hour drive away.

ruhige, saubere Wohnung im Mehrfamilienhaus

die Whg liegt zwar etwas abseits von Aosta, dafür jedoch sehr ruhig mit enem wunderbaren Bergblick. Der großzügige Balkon läd zum entspannen ein. Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigem ausgestattet. Bis auf ein paar fehlenden Glühbirnen war die Whg in einem guten und sehr sauberen Zustand. Im Ort ein gemütlicher Supermarkt mit Bar. Alles im Allem ein schöner Ausgangspunkt zum wandern oder Motorrad fahren. Kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic property, breathtaking views!

I absolutely adored our stay in this beautiful apartment! The views are to die for and the place has been tastefully decorated. We stayed with my two young children and it was just perfect for us. We decided to come for a summer mountain holiday but would love to return for a ski holiday. As my children are young, it will be ideal as there is a small ski slope in the village and great for sledging and also not far to drive to nearby ski resorts. Also loved the fact that the apartment has a sauna and fireplace! I would thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment in this quaint and peaceful mountain village. The owner was also very helpful in assisting us prior to our arrival with directions and answering my many questions in english! We'll be back!
