Warmest hosts ever!

We were late getting to Livorno due to a cascade of delays on our journey from the US. We kept in touch with our hosts and they were there waiting for us to assist us with parking and getting luggage up the three flights. They were helpful with local information. It was quite warm during our stay and we struggled to get the air conditioning to work properly, but partway through the visit. We found a fan tucked at the bottom of the stairs, and that helped to circulate the air up to the loft. It was wonderful to be so close to the Mercado Central we enjoyed three days of exploring the local area. The view over the canal was to die for.

Più che una camera con una vista bella

More than a room with a good view! My wife and I have now spent a full month here in Alessandra and Paolo's apartment, so you might say we're experts. I've rented a number of flats over the years for work trips in Italy, and this is by far the most pleasant, comfortable, and well-appointed pad I've had in this price bracket. The bathroom, bedroom loft (low cieling up there, but you'll probably like the ambiance just below the roof), and large living room/kitchen area are perfect for a pied-a-terre, for one weekend or for four weeks. Everyone can appreciate how nice it is to find essentially unlimited hot water in the heater, too! With a nice gas range, oven (so rare!!), and even a dishwasher, I found putting together a meal, or entertaining a guest we had for a few days, completely feasible. To top it all off, Alessandra was a fantastic host, and she answered all of our texts very promptly during our stay. A great location for eateries and shopping around the old city core, and even walkable to the train station. If you're considering a stay here, just book it - you won't be disappointed.

UNA VACANZA FUORI PROGRAMMA

Dovevo viaggiare per lavoro ma piuttosto che cercare un albergo ho tentato la casa per essere più tranquilla. Ho scelto in base alle foto ed alla posizione con un giusto prezzo. La realtà corrisponde alle aspettative ed anzi le supera. Tutto al suo posto e perfettamente organizzato, dalla cucina al bagno, il soggiorno e la zona notte. Posizione comoda per chi arriva con il treno (a piedi 20 minuti lineari) ma avrei potuto prendere un bus (5 fermate in 5 minuti). Posizione strategica per il centro e vicinissimo al Mercato Centrale, meraviglia architettonica e fornitissima per le vettovaglie. In casa ho trovato tutte le istruzioni su dove mangiare e cosa vedere. E come depositare i rifiuti che a Livorno sono molto organizzati per la differenziata. Ottima disponibilità per l'accoglienza ed il rilascio. Mi sono sentita a casa e malgrado abbia lavorato, mi son fatta raggiungere dalla famiglia e mi sono regalata una vacanza fuori programma!

Appartement très bien situé

L'appartement est propre et très agréable. La clim fonctionne bien. La vue sur le canal est reposante. Le centre de livourne est très pittoresque avec son marché et ses boutiques. Les plages de la région sont super sans oublier Florence et Pise facile d'accès.

UN ANGOLINO SUL FOSSO REALE

Io sono di Livorno, quindi ho scelto oculatamente il posto. La posizione è molto carina perché accanto al mercato molto pittoresco e al centro città. A 10 minuti a piedi c'è la carinissima Venezia dove in qualunque osteria si può mangiare il cacciucco, specialità livornese. Al mercato andate a mangiare il frate caldo (ciambella appena sfornata) proprio sull'angolo della piazza e vicino non dimenticate di prendervi un succulento panino alla Barrocciaia. La macchina è consigliabile per andare al mare ma ci si arriva anche in bici. Il parcheggio sotto casa però è a pagamento, non so se ci siano garages vicini dove parcheggiare a minor prezzo. W Livorno!

Ci fa molto piacere che una livornese purosangue apprezzi la nostra casa! Speriamo che possa ritornare presto. Il centro di Livorno, come in ogni città, non abbonda di parcheggi gratuiti ma è possibile utilizzare uno dei garage che si trovano in zona come il Moderno, a 3 minuti da casa, o in alternativa parcheggiare liberamente a circa 800 mt di distanza. Sarà un piacere per noi consigliare ai nostri ospiti la soluzione migliore per le loro esigenze.

WONDERFUL STAY

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful extended stay here. It was even better then we imagined. Bruno and Alessandra were absolutely wonderful hosts and we will definitely be back. Livorno was fantastic in every way, the water, the food and the people. The apartment was the perfect size for us and the appliances worked well. Everything was very clean and well maintained and there were lots of cleaning supplies so that we could keep it that way.

l'appartamento è molto carino ed estremamente pulito. c'è una bellissima vista della finestra. i proprietari gentili e disponibili. siamo stati davvero bene, eravamo 4 adulti e lo spazio era comodo. tutto era come ci aspettavamo.

Wir haben eine sehr schön...

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit in diesem Apartment in Livorno verbracht und würden das Objekt jederzeit wieder mieten. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und helfen weiter, wo sie nur können. Die Wohnung selbst ist top gepflegt, sehr geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr gut, obwohl es mitten in der Innenstadt ist, liegen die Zimmer nach hinten raus und man hat seine Ruhe bei einem einmaligen Ausblick. Livorno selbst ist eine typische Hafenstadt und hat nicht sonderlich viel zu bieten, etwas weiter südlich und nördlich die Küste entlang gibt es allerdings schöne Strände.
