Our 5 day stay was wonderful! The condo was very clean and stocked with basic essentials. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to lounge in the living room. The view feom the balcony is pretty good. The property was easy to navigate, and the kids enjoyed both pools, and we all enjoyed the private beach access. It was a very relaxing trip.

Great location on Atlantic Beach. Walking distance from Fort Macon State Park. The check-in instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. There is an outdoor pool with water slide, an indoor pool, and beach access on site. Plus, the unit is close to the elevator which makes for quick load/unload of the vehicle.

This is a beautiful, comfortable condo. Located near elevator and indoor pool, easy keyless entry. Plenty of charging ports for kids’ iPads and phones. Owner provided clear and timely information for our stay. Condo was clean and obviously well cared for with nice furnishings. I highly recommend this condo.

Great condo! Exactly as pictured. It's an easy walk down to the beach. Indoor pool was chilly, but the hot tub is right there to warm you up.We were sad to not have been able to use the outdoor pool, but it's become an issue in North Carolina that many pools cannot open on schedule because there aren't enough state inspectors to get to them in time. Not the fault of the owner or APATB.

The condo was great but the resort as a whole had flaws. The elevator broke at the beginning of the week… no alternate elevator so member of our party that had health problems and was unable to walk distances and go up and down steps was basically stuck on 3rd floor. Resort was in no hurry to fix problem and it was still broke on Saturday at checkout. The parking did not seem adequate for the number of cars and you were rarely able to park near condo. Other resort facilities such as pool did not seem adequate for the number of people and people were lining up at pool gates an hour before it opened to get a place to sit. The condo was independently owned and it was great… had everything you needed and communication with owner was fantastic. Resort issues were not owners fault.

Lorna Dune was our favorite APATB unit in our stays thus far. For an off season visit we got a good rate in a large enough unit for our family of five to spread out & not be cramped. I would say that this unit suits no more than a standard 5 people. We have two teens & a young child with my husband & I and the three beds fit us comfortably. Six people with small kids would be fine but not 6 adults. It was a great unit for a young-middle aged family. We had only a few complaints that didn't warrant any correction. The unit was still being cleaned upon our late check in; check-in was 4pm & we arrived at 6:30pm to find the cleaning staff still working. One of the comforters on the bunk bed was still damp but obviously from being washed & not fully dried. The master bed had not been vacuumed under in some time but mostly heavily dusty & not super nasty. The master bath shower drains very slowly but wasn't an issue with our quick shower habits. Overall, very minor issues & otherwise pleasant experience. There were a variety of games & puzzles that we enjoyed immensely & kept us away from screen time some between beach & pool time. Plenty of kitchen items to suit our cooking needs. I did purchase & leave behind a dish drying mat as there was no dish drying rack for handwashing dishes. There was a bottle of laundry soap for the checkout day laundering of towels requirement I assumed, but it was almost empty so I was glad I bring my own laundry soap. Great place!

This is our second year staying in this condo and we loved it! The kids LOVE the pool and we love the easy access to the elevator. We had three adults and two children and we were all comfortable in the condo.

Spacious, convenient, and so cute!!!A Place At The Beach is always a solid choice and Lorna Dune is a gem! Well appointed with everything the family needs, beautiful sunrises, convenient access to the beach AND near the only elevator in the building (every dad that hauls the support equipment and moms carrying tired children will be grateful!!). Ample space in this unit as opposed to the some others. Host was very sweet and helpful! We will definitely plan a return trip to Lorna Dune.
