My unit is picture perfect and is located on top floor & Center of Building looking straight out to ocean. It is the Best location in building! This oceanfront unit has been completely remodeled! Spa bathroom, new furnishings, linens, paint, etc! Pool and beach access are open!

This unit is exactly as pictured with a gorgeous panoramic view of ocean! Enjoy this beautifully updated direct oceanfront one bedroom unit. Unit 515 has been completely upgraded and has new memory King bed in bedroom. There are 2 leather sofas in living room, one is a sleeper.

Our unit is a favorite of many repeat guests. There is a private bedroom and separate living area with full kitchen.

The living room and bedroom are beautifully furnished with flat screen TV's. The unit is furnished with everything you need during your stay, beach chairs and umbrella. Add to all this, a furnished balcony looking directly out to the Atlantic Ocean. Amenities for this unit include a fully equipped kitchen, Flat screen TVs with cable, Wifi, air conditioning, linens, towels, beach chairs and umbrella.

The unit is located in an iconic vintage building built in 1965. Families (including ours) have enjoyed this property for decades. It has so much to offer including one of the largest pool decks on the beach, as well as an indoor heated pool, Olympic outdoor pool located beachside. Enjoy a frozen pina colada from the Tiki Bar while the DJ plays your favorite beach tunes. Relax Additional amenities include an arcade game area, guest laundry facilities and a unique gift shop.

Your place was great. The bed is a little on the hard side and I wasn’t aware of bike week. The noise level was a little rough. The stay was very nice so thank you for your very cute and clean place.

Much needed getaway

Everything was just like advertised. It was very welcoming as far as the interior decoration. Everything that I needed to feel at home was there. The location and view was amazing as well,I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the balcony and just watch the waves. I will definitely come back with the children when the weather gets warmer.

The Beach view was fabulous however there was no beach due to the Storm and a King Tide. This is no fault to the host and I understand that is part of the risk. Our Host was a great communicator and check in and out was very simple. Now the negatives. The room had constant water on the floors due to poor insulation and smelt damp and gross. The fact we pay a cleaning fee but were required to wash dishes and other minor details before we left or pay a 50 additional fee is ridiculous. The pool was extremely dirty and the baby pool was not even open. I feel like we paid way too much for a very basic room that was not very comfortable. I would not book this room again.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. I personally inspected the unit the day before your arrival and again after checkout, and neither I nor my housekeeper found any water on the floors or odor issues. Occasionally, leaving the sliding doors open or setting the A/C too low can cause condensation, which might explain what you experienced. Regarding checkout procedures — the request to wash dishes and take out trash is standard across Airbnb and is clearly listed in the house rules. The kiddie pool is currently closed for maintenance, and that information is also noted in the listing. I understand the weather and high tides during your stay were disappointing, but those conditions were unfortunately out of anyone’s control. I do appreciate your comments and will continue working to ensure all guests have a comfortable experience.

Clean, (Very Clean!)...comfortable unit, top floor with great view of the ocean, pool & Tiki Bar. Perfect for couple. Met some really nice people while there. Only complaint was the bed & I realize that's subjective, but it was uncomfortable for both my husband & myself. If the bed was replaced I'd stay there every time we visit Florida.

Wonderful to wake up to see the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. At night the condo association had lights that gave a view of the ocean. The balcony was a good size and very private Bed was king size and comfy. No washer & dyer or dishwasher but an adequate kitchen for cooking meals

Great recreation!

The owner Mary was very kind. He kept in touch with us. It provided everything with information so everything worked great. The apartment was well furnished and clean. Amazing ocean views.We spent a lot of time in the ocean and admired the amazing teams of seagulls.There are many good restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this place. Sterling and Maria.

The condo is very nicely decorated and super clean -

The condo was perfect - the Hawaiin Inn was however very loud and rundown. While we were in the condo you could hear everything and everyone walking, coughing, laughing through the walls. But as I said the condo itself was beautiful and I think it was worth the price.

Beautiful condo! Unbelievable view!!

The minute we walked into this unit, we saw the ocean, what a view! We loved everything about this unit! It was exactly as described by Mary. The unit was spotless, beautifully updated and the bed was so comfortable. We had everything we needed, including beach chairs and umbrella. The location was perfect, we sat on balcony each morning and enjoyed watching the sunrise. The beach Is just steps away. We are so happy we found this unit, we can’t wait to return! We will definitely be back soon!

This condo need some updating. 1st there were gnat like bugs everywhere on the counters and cupboards. We could not keep our food anywhere on the counters. No cleaning supplies available to try and remedy the situation. We would wipe the counters and cupboards down with soap and water and the bugs would return. Bird crap all over the balcony looked like it had not been cleaned in months. One chair on the balcony is broke as well. The shower curtain rod is so rusted, looks like its been there for 40 years. Shower gets hot without warning, easy to get burned. Bed seemed comfortable until the second night then you were sleeping in a hole because the mattress pad must be worn out. No boogie board to use like the description said. TV was a challenge in both rooms as there is no guide. The whole property needs updating. Some good things....Nice view, enough towels and linens, no card access. Overall I would not stay here again and personally I think Daytona itself is dirty and many homeless. Will not be back :(

I am sorry you were so disappointed. I wish you had called or text me about any problems you experienced during your stay. The balcony chair has been repaired (easy fix) within a day. I have never had a gnat problem in any of my 3 units I owned and have rented for over 14 years. Once again, I would have been happy to send my housekeeper to remedy any issue. Thank you for letting me know about shower curtain rod, it will be replaced immediately. The bed was purchased 2 years ago, we added a 3 inch memory foam topper last year. I personally love how it sleeps, but I understand not everyone likes memory foam. The unit was painted and received new living room furniture last year and new bedroom furniture 2 years ago. I take pride in my property and always strive to provide clean, updated and well priced units (I believe you paid $89 a night for the week of Christmas.) I do hope you enjoyed a beautiful sunrise (or two) or moon walk on the beach during your stay. I love December at the beach! Thank you for your input. Mary

Very Nice, BUT RENTOR BEWARE!

We have stayed in various condos at the Hawaiian Inn and absolutely love it. This condo #206, was very well decorated, very comfortable beds ( however, a little small), provided everything and was clean. You also can't beat the area and amenities at the Hawaiian Inn. However, renter beware! Apparently, the hotel (for this particular condo) has the power to control the room temperature. Because of the time of year and the fact that there HAD BEEN some cool weather earlier in the week, the hotel had the HEAT ON. When we first entered our room, the temp was in the high 80's, and the thermostat was set for A/C. The air coming out of the vents was HOT. We quickly found out that if the temp at NIGHT goes below 60 degrees, the hotel turns on the heat and YOU cannot control your thermostat. We had to keep our doors and windows open day and night. It felt very unsecure to be sleeping right under an open window and it was still HOT. The paddle fan in the living room did not work. The hotel did not appear to have a lot of guest, but we did see numerous rooms with the doors propped open with chairs, shoes, etc. and we talked to several other guests that were also trying to and cool their rooms. The sickening part is that the lobby, elevators, and restaurant all had A/C running and were perfectly cooled day and night. We were also renting room #110 and SAME HOT ISSUE.

I'm giving the facts about this place. The Hawaiian Inn as a whole is a 3 star place. Built in 1965 or so and touched up over the years. Mix of people is half over 50 and half college age. Positives: Unit #515 was pretty much as listed inside. It is listed as the nicest unit at the Hawaiian Inn. The kitchen area has been recently updated in the past year or so. 2.5 miles straight up Atlantic Ave to the boardwalk and strip. Easy drive to racetrack, shopping, etc. Walmart about 6 miles is the cheapest place to shop. Winn Dixie is just 3 blocks away. Safe location. Great view of the ocean and beach and pool area. Walk right out from lobby to pool area and beach. Pool was cleaned everyday by staff. Unit was reasonably clean. Soap, shampoo, towels all plentiful. Well stocked with kitchen items and trash bags. Negatives: Exterior walkways on building can be spooky if you arrive at night. Common areas of building (elevators, hallways) are tired. Wifi was weak and spotty. Mattress on bed is shot with a weak area on left side. Basically the mattress is unusable. Had to sleep sideways on it. Needs replacement! Refrigerator gasket was falling off door and needs replacement. Used heavy object to keep door shut tight. Condensation was collecting inside fridge and on floor. Spring breakers do come here so they come back noisy in the middle of the night from partying. They are friendly. The Hawaiian Inn put them on either side of us. Thanks Hawaiian Inn. That seems like a lot of negatives but Unit #515 itself is basically a good unit. That view is great.

Love this place!

My husband and I went with a group over spring break. Ours was the best room of them all! Nice and clean plus a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and having our coffee. Tiki bar was great for lunch and a nice cold drink! We attended the Luau and it was worth the money. We will stay here again for sure!!

Daytona Dreams

My two twenty-something daughter's and I decided on a long weekend stay in Daytona and chose this 4th floor unit at the Hawaiian Inn. Check in was SUPER easy!! The kitchenette was perfect for us as we didn't plan on cooking too much. Although if we chose to, everything we would have needed was there. The unit was clean and modern and had a perfect view! We did attend the Polynesian Dinner show that was onsite(additional charge) and really enjoyed that too. If I had on complaint it would be that onsite parking became VERY limited due to the annual Jeep event and even though parking permits were required that was not enforced by the staff at the Hawaiian Inn. Not the units owner's fault at all. Ultimately, we had a fabulous time and we'd stay again!

Beach front condo with gorgeous view

This condo is clean & had everything provided that you need from beach towels & beach chairs to golf clubs & balls for putting green. The view from this unit is amazing over looking the pool & the ocean! The pictures are accurate. Mary the host was always quick to respond to every question. We did have problems with the internet going in & out which on two nights made it mostly impossible to watch tv. Atlantic Drive is very busy & sometimes noisy for sleeping. But overall, beautiful place with a gorgeous view. We would stay here again!!

Wonderful condo, wonderful hostess!

Condo was very nice with an amazing view and most of all Mary was an excellent hostess. She was very attentive and was quick to respond to anything we needed. Pool bar is nice. They have a small game area for the kids. Make sure to visit Dave & his gorilla in the gift shop! And book the luau if you get the chance! Incredible! We would definitely stay here again!
