silence reigns sovereign. Beautiful panorama. Relax. The villa is immersed in 8000 meters of olive grove. It is only a few miles from the Pantalica, Palazzolo Acreide, Noto, Syracuse and an hour from Piazza Armerina. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms for a total of 4 beds, a bathroom a living room kitchen, with double sofa bed for 2 and large outdoor areas with pool and water slide for the younger, relaxation area with hammock , balconies and barbecue area. Possibility of overnight stay for up to 6 people. Great for the lovers of the countryside with possibilta 'of paths for long walks and baths in the ponds of Pantalica.
N.B the pool is available from June 15 to September 15.

Formidable

Plus qu'un séjour, c'est une formidable rencontre avec Salvatore et Paola. Accueil irréprochable, chaleureux et d'une générosité sans pareil. Merci pour toutes les attentions quotidiennes, les conseils, et ce repas partagé avant notre départ :) La maison est très propre, fonctionnelle. Tout est mis à notre disposition pour passer un bon séjour. La piscine entièrement rénovée est juste formidable, avec son tobogan, bouée et ballon... elle a fait le bonheur des enfants ... et des parents aussi lors des moments les plus chauds ! La région est à découvrir. La maison est située à 50min de Syracuse, Catane, Raguse ... dans la montagne ... la voiture est indispensable. Nous recommandons sans hésiter la villa Paola. Venir chez Paola et Salvatore est la certitude de passer un excellent séjour tout en authenticité. Grazie mile per tutti !!!

Un séjour rêvé

Comment ne pas remercier Salvatore et Paola pour cet accueil formidable. C’est le point le plus important pour nous. La maison est au top, avec cette belle piscine qui a ravi nos deux petits. Je ne parle pas des attentions quotidiennes, figues, raisin, œufs, repas etc… la maison est au centre de tout au calme à environ 1h de Syracusa, Ragusa, Noto. Les températures y sont plus fraîches vraiment et c’est génial pour bien dormir. Bref un havre de paix, de calme et de bonheur. Tout est prévu sur place, serviettes, claquettes, lit bébé. Même deux douches a l’extérieur pour vous rincer ou vous laver. Attention (courant août 2023) la route qui mène à la maison est fermée. Vous ne pouvez y à accéder qu’en passant par Ferla et Cassaro. Un oasi nell’entroterra siracusano

È il posto ideale per una vacanza in famiglia, nella tranquillità assoluta, panorami bellissimi e la piscina a uso privato. Appartamento attrezzato di tutto e confortevole. Un’accoglienza eccezionale, che ci ha anche coccolati con granita e altri prodotti locali… ci torneremo certamente!

Sicily is a beautiful island

The hosts and the extended family at the property are welcoming and generous. As other guests have mentioned they love to share fruit and vegetables from the garden and homemade bread, wine and granita - all really lovely. The area is quiet and a good base to visit gorgeous towns and beach towns.

Excellent séjour

Accueil exceptionnel chez une famille Sicilienne d'une générosité sans précédent. Tout est pensé pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible et notamment avec des enfants. La situation géographique est superbe, au coeur de la montagne et des oliviers. Nature et calme absolu garantis. Pas de touristes dans les environs, que du local! Le logement très propre, très bien tenu, est attenant à la maison des propriétaires. Pour les enfants, le toboggan, les bouées, la balançoire et le baby foot sont plus qu'appréciable. Paola et Salvatore, ainsi que leur famille et leurs amis sont d'une générosité extrême et rare. Ils partagent tous les plaisirs culinaires de la Sicile avec enthousiasme et bonne humeur. Une petite attention chaque jour (raisin, figues) Ils respectent bien sûr votre intimité si vous souhaitez rester dans votre coin tranquille. Nous recommandons chaleureusement la Villa Paola pour ce séjour humainement exceptionnel en plus du cadre sublime. Ce fut notre plus belle expérience de location de maison. Excellent séjour

Accueil chaleureux, généreux et authentique de Salvatore et Paola, qui ont un réel souci du confort et du bien être de leurs hôtes. Le logement est très agréable, propre et fonctionnel. La piscine est un réel plaisir, surtout pour les enfants. Le toboggan a fait un heureux ! Tout est pensé et aménagé pour profiter pleinement de l'extérieur (douche, barbecue, terrasse, baby-foot...). De plus, le logement est très bien situé et permet de varier les visites et les journées. Bref, un grand MERCI à Salvatore et Paola pour cette belle semaine !

Génial

Impossible d’imaginer une telle rencontre. L’hébergement..rien a dire, simple, efficace, familial( 1 étage de la villa familiale , totalement indépendant et autonome avec mise à disposition de toute la structure , terrasse et piscines individuelles) Site idéal pour visiter la région et découvrir toutes ces merveilles tant à l i intérieur des terres que sur le bord de mer ( superbes plages à 35mn ) Mais la vraie découverte reste et Paola, Salvatore leur famille et leurs amis et leur accueil exceptionnel Impossible d’oublier les soirées, le partage, les rires, les regards échangés , de barbecue de pizza , sans parles des pasta alla poutarga de giuseppe Ici tout est fait maison .. et d une saveur extraordinaire .. Impossible de ne pas avoir envie d’y retourner. Une semaine de temps partagé avec une famille Sicilienne extraordinaire. Pour la première fois de ma vie toute la famille avait les larmes aux yeux en quittant Paola et Salvatore Merci à vous tous pour ces belles vacances et cette belle rencontre A bientôt

Un séjour merveilleux

Vous ne repartirez pas de chez Salvatore et Paola sans un pincement au cœur ! Nous avons rencontré des personnes merveilleuses ! Nous avons été choyés durant les 2 semaines et demi que nous avons passé! Ils nous attendaient le soir de notre arrivée malgré l’heure tardive. Le réfrigérateur était rempli et le petit déjeuner du lendemain également. Le logement est climatisé et d une propreté impeccable. Merci Salvatore et Paolo pour la soirée Pizzas avec vos enfants , les figues , le raisin , la salsa pomodoro, la pastèque ,l’Aqua Fresca, le pain , les petites collations goûter pour les enfants …et Mario bref encore grazie per tutte ! Des personnes le cœur sur la main comme nous n’en croisons pas tous les jours. Le logement est situé à environ 50 min de Syracuse et 1h15 de Catane. Sur les conseils de Salvatore et de Paolo si vous avez des enfants : nous vous conseillons le parc « parcallerio »…à environ 20 minutes, la ballade en barque à Syracuse !!! Le village de Cassoro est à 560 mètres d altitude : il y fait bon vivre , les habitants sont accueillants …nous avons toujours reçu un accueil très chaleureux par les commerçants !!! Arrivederci Paolo et Salvatore ! On reviendra !

Excellent séjour près de Syracuse, dans la nature, en famille.

Dans la montagne, au milieu d"une oliveraie, au bord de la piscine, c'est le lieu idéal pour partir à la découverte des richesses de la Sicile. La maison est parfaitement équipée de toutes les commodités et elle est parfaitement entretenue, parfaite pour un séjour en famille. On ne peut oublier l'accueil si chaleureux et attentionné de Paola et Salvadore. Merci mille fois pour toutes ces attentions si généreuses auxquelles nous repensons souvent. Un séjour inoubliable!

Très bon séjour !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, grâce à l'accueil de Paola et Salvadore, l'appartement est très bien, et les exterieurs sont parfaits, les enfants ont adoré la piscine! Le lieu est bien situé pour visiter le sud est de la Sicile, mais tout demande un certain temps de voiture et les routes sont escarpées. Au final, nous avons adoré cette location et la recommandons.

Sehr idyllisch

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von den Besitzern empfangen welche uns auch während des Aufenthaltes immer wieder mit Obst und Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau versorgten. Leider ist der Bereich zur alleinigen Benutzung relativ klein gewesen da der vordere Teil des Gartens zum Wohnbereich der Vermieter gehörten. Die FeWo liegt sehr weit außerhalb. Für 5 Personen nicht geeignet. Wenig Möglichkeit für Aktivitäten außerhalb der FeWo da der Bezirk nicht auf Tourismus ausgelegt ist (keine Restaurants, keine Englischkenntnisse). Zu Empfehlen für Leute die sich gern am Haus aufhalten.

Exceeded expectations

Situated just outside the small village Cassaro, it has all the facilities you need: airco, good WIFI, swimming pool, private parking, BBQ, beautiful nature, no tourists (you can meet those in the bigger cities, if you like) and very nice and helpful hosts. Perfect for hiking and biking (both on- and offroad). And a lot of beautiful cultural places near by: Ferla, Patalica, Pallazzolo Acreide, Noto and many more. Absolutely a no brainer for a nice holiday!!!!

Ferienwohnung auf dem Berg

Wer Sizilien wirklich kennenlernen möchte, sollte diese Unterkunft wählen. Die Wohnung ist "jwd" - janz weit draussen - im sizilianischen Hinterland, man fährt viele Serpentinen hinauf nach Cassaro und dann noch aus dem Ort heraus, bevor man da ist. Dort herrscht totale Ruhe, nur den Hund und den Hahn hört man mal. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Nur wenn schlechtes Wetter ist, wünscht man sich mal draußen mehr Platz. Die sizilianischen Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und freundlich und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen.

Au coeur de la Sicile

Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour . Paola et Salvatore y ont grandement contribué car ce sont des hôtes exceptionnels ! Ils nous ont tellement bien accueillis, toujours soucieux de notre bien-être : tous les jours, ils avaient une petite attention pour nous et ils nous ont invités à leur table plus d'une fois ! Ils ont été de très bon conseil pour les visites à faire. La maison n'est pas bien grande mais elle est fonctionnelle et la piscine (avec son toboggan) a fait le plaisir des petits comme des grands! Le barbecue, équipé d'un système ingénieux de ventilation, est très appréciable ! On peut manger dehors même en cas de pluie ou de grosse chaleur. Pour visiter cette belle région, une voiture est indispensable ! La localisation (à 20 minutes de Palazzolo Acreide) permet de sillonner dans la région de Syracuse et de découvrir des paysages très variés (montagne, mer, villes baroques, sites antiques). Ce fut une chance pour nous de découvrir la Sicile en totale immersion en compagnie de Siciliens au grand cœur !

Super vacances

Nous voulions du soleil, nous l'avons eu. Nous voulions de la tranquillité, nous l’avons eue. Nous voulions une région intéressante culturellement avec de superbes paysages, nous l'avons eue. Mais surtout, nous avons eu en plus la gentillesse et l'accueil de nos hôtes. Pas un jour ne s'est passé sans qu'ils aient une petite attention pour nous. Encore merci.

A recommended place to visit Sicily!

Nice house and surroundings, with a huge garden full of olive trees, a refreshing pool with terrace, with all needed to chill. And next year, the outskirts will be upgraded, even if already perfect! The property is at reasonable distance to a lot of interesting sites, more or less one hour far from Catania, Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa, Monica, Palazzolo Acreide, Piazza Armerina, nice beaches, beautiful natural parks, etc. Owners are warmly hospitable and at your disposal for anything you need. A recommended place to visit Sicily!

Comme à la maison ......

Un séjour au top dans une île magnifique et encore méconnue. L'appartement est très propre, bien équipé, la piscine à notre disposition est une vraie bouffée d'air après des journées de balade au soleil. Tout est fait pour se détendre, les cigales, l'eau qui tombe dans la piscine, hamac, transat, espaces ombragés.... Un grand merci à Paola, Salvatore et Giuseppe pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité, leurs conseils avisés en toute discrétion. Vous avez rempli notre séjour de petites attentions, les boissons fraîches à notre arrivée, le panier garni de collations offertes gracieusement, le pain maison, les tomates fraîches du jardin , la brioche .... tout est fait pour qu'on se sente comme à la maison. Encore merci pour votre invitation à partager vos repas. Au delà des paysages magnifiques, nous garderons en mémoire "l'hospitalité à la sicilienne " C'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons chez vous et nous recommandons chaleureusement ce logement À bientôt ! Wonderfull house - the best hosts

This holiday appartment is the best. Our hosts during our stay, Salvatore and Paola, were extremely friendly and helpfull. They gave us fresh grapes, tomatoes, figgs, herbs and lemons from the garden. Baked us pizza and invited us for a family meal on August 15 where we met their daughter: Francesca, who could start her own tourist information office - she gave us lots of usefull information - (with cute little Zoë) and son and very appreciated the wonderfully cooking of Paola. The appartment is spacious with all necessities (no Wifi but with these beautifull surroundings you don't miss it). Even though temperatures outside were high; the inside remained cool. Every window or door has a 'musquito fence'. The bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms were all very tidy and clean. We had the swimming pool all to ourselves and our children (6 and 8 years) very much enjoyed the self-made slide, provided with water and the foosball table. An outside shower, sun-bathing chairs, nice terrace, surrounded by great views. Above that, it is located centrally to visit Syracusa, Pantalica (just few km away), Noto, beaches... All this makes this holiday home our favourite ever!!! If we ever go back to Sicilly, we would definitely come back to Salvatore and Paola.

Excellent séjour en Sicile chez Paola et Salvatore. Nous avons été accueilli très chaleureusement, repas copieux à l'arrivée, toujours une marque d'attention de Salvatore et Paola qui nous ont fait gouter aux figues, au pain de Paola fait maison ainsi que le vin de Salvatore. Sicily at its best!

Villa Paola CASSARO From the very first moment meeting Salvatore until the farewell, hospitaliy is the core feature of that accommodation. You are diving into a world of interesting history, beautiful nature and local specialities like home-made pastry, Pizza, ice cream and wine. Do not miss the Anapo Valley hiking on the former railtrack including exciting dark tunnels. We will return! Baci for the whole Family, especially for little Zoe and her Mama Francesca. :-)Baci for the whole family, especially for little Zoe :-)

Ecellent souvenir

Excellent souvenir de cette semaine passée à Cassaro. Un grand merci à toute la famille Menta pour leur accueil, particulièrement Paola et Salvadore pour leurs très nombreuses attentions et leur conseils avisés. Le gite est très agréable et en ce mois de Juillet caniculaire, ce fut un vrai bonheur de pouvoir bénéficier de la piscine. Un seul regret, nous n'avons pas eu le temps de goûter à la pizza de Salvadore. Il faudra revenir.....
