Great place to stay!

We found this apartment to be excellent! The location was great. Central to Campo, the Pantheon, and the Vatican. The apartment was clean and well kept. We had 4 adults and a baby, so we used all the space, but it was perfect for our short stay in Rome. Barbara also arranged all of our transfers, to the port and back and then to the airport. It was great not to have to worry about those details. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Apartment, Great Location & a Lovely Host

This apartment is beautiful and offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city after a day of sight seeing. As soon as you walk through the door the apartment offers you peace and serenity - you wouldn't think you were in the middle of a city centre. I stayed for 4 nights with 2 friends and we found we didn't want to leave!!! Although compact the apartment is really well equipped and has everything you need. It is in a great location as it is within walking distance of all your main attractions and we were spoilt for choice on an evening with there being an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops down all the roads around us. Barbara is lovely, she gave us such a warm welcome and so much good advice that we would have happily had her stay with us! She provided us with maps and advised us on where to go, restaurant tips, bus stops as well as her contact details so we could message her should we need any help. There is also a portable wifi device that meant we got internet access whilst on the move all over Rome. Thank you Barbara - your apartment is lovely and I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone wanting to experience the beautiful city that is Roma!

Wonderful apartment with the perfect location

This apartment is super clean and cozy & I can't imagine a better location while visiting Rome. The owner was very friendly. My only difficulty was the unfamiliar lock, but that was user error. I would definitely stay there again!

Rome apartment

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is in a great location, near Vatican and close to restaurants and shopping. Very clean and nicely appointed. We could not figure out the sleep sofa and there was no extra bedding anyway. Very small bathroom/ shower but adequate for two small women. Sort of weird smell coming from bathroom but it is an older building with old plumbing. All in all we enjoyed our stay

Perfect location for all the main sights

We enjoyed a fantastic three days in Rome. This little apartment is located on a small cobbled street, just off the main road in a quiet corner close to Campo de Fiori. It has everything you could possibly need including the mobile wifi which was a fantastic little touch. St Peter's Square is just a 15 minute walk away in one direction, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon 15 minutes walk away in the other direction. Most of the main sights, churches and museums are easily accessible from the apartment. There are some wonderful bars and restaurants just around the corner from the apartment, you really are spoilt for choice. We pre-booked our tour of the Vatican museum and the Colosseum and would highly recommend any visitors do the same to beat the queues. The Trevi fountain is busy at all times of day and the Roman Forum and Palatine Gardens are well worth a visit. Thank you Barbara and Franco for a lovely stay.

Notre petit coin de paradis au coeur de Rome

Séjour exceptionnel à Rome dans la suite Cartari, l'appartement est magnifique et conforme aux photos, idéalement situé au coeur de Rome, de ses principales attractions touristiques sans oublier près de très bons restaurants et glaciers. On s'y sent comme à la maison, très bien équipé et très bien rénové. Barbara et Livia sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients, toujours disponibles, très gentilles et n'hésitant pas à vous donner des conseils pour les visites, et où trouver les meilleurs restaurants. L'appartement se trouve près de campo de Fiori ou un marché se tient tous les matins et où vous pourrez dénicher de merveilleux restaurants (notre préférence s'est porté sur un restaurant de pâtes fraîches faites maison et sur une delicieuse pizzeria !) Cette appartement deviendra notre adresse de référence pour nos prochains séjours à Rome. Si vous voulez aussi passer un séjour exceptionnel dans la capitale italienne n'hésitez pas à réserver la suite Cartari de Barbara !

Very lovely and comfortable apartment in a great neighbourhood in Rome.

Super nice; two levels, bedroom loft, great kitchen and bathroom. Four people could stay comfortably. Very friendly and helpful greeting by Helene. Great quiet neighbourhood, we could walk to many excellent restaurants, grocery stores, and all the sights of Roma! I would highly recommend this apartment!

Great Location, Compact space

This intimate first floor apartment is in a great location. Near grocery stores, restaurants, Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori and steps away from Corso Vittorio Emanuele and busses. Helene was wonderful. When the car service didn’t show to take us to the airport, she got us a cab and all was great. Although it was small, we didn’t feel cramped. Be aware, the bed is up stairs in a loft and there is minimal natural light - minor downsides to a fantastic location on the first floor.

Fantastic apartment with ideal location

This place truly made our stay in Rome. The owners were fantastic to work with, super responsive and the apartment is equipped with all kinds of helpful tid bits about Rome. Barbara booked our taxi for us and the driver was waiting at the gates for us at the airport. The location is truly ideal, lovely little coffee place steps from the door. You're a 2 minute walk to either Campo d'Fiori or Piazza Navona, both with great nightlife and dinner options. It truly is the best location, great jumping off point for all the sights, yet a nice quiet spot to come back to at night. Hard to believe you're in the city center.

Un confetto in pieno centro di Roma

Cominciamo con la lo logistica: centralissimo, in una delle zone più belle e caratteristiche di Roma, Campo dé Fiori e piazza Navona; a non più di 50 metri dalla fermata del bus di Chiesa Nuova (da li passano tantissimi mezzi). La via in cui è situato l'appartamento è sufficientemente tranquilla pur essendo aperta al traffico. L'appartamento è molto curato, pulitissimo e ben organizzato. Ma soprattutto silenziosissimo. Se proprio bisogna trovare un difetto è la sostanziale mancanza di luce naturale che però è dichiarato nella descrizione. Abbiamo soggiornato solamente due notti, ma siamo certi che torneremo non appena possibile. Una menzione speciale alla squisita gentilezza e costante disponibilità di Barbara, la proprietaria. Amazing

Everything you read and see in Pictures of the nice suite is true. And Barbara as a host is truly a gem. She saw to accommodate our early arrival and was very helpful in pointing out some great lil' restaurants near the apartment that deserved their recommendations. Rome is an amazing city I've been to 3 times now and was glad to share the experience with my fiance for her first time there. Location is great. Plenty of excellent, AFFORDABLE, restaurants nearby, local nightlife, a convenient super market to get daily supplies and a real Roman feel to the area. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the main sights in Rome as well. Just perfect. The Apartment is "so cute" as my fiance would put it. The furnishings and design make the most of a compact place. It's extremely clean and makes you wish it was your own lil place. It doesn't have a view of Rome which is the only drawback but Rome is a place you see with your feet. We loved our experience there an prefer it to many hotels we've stayed at. Truly a diamond in the rough. Gracias por todo su ayuda Barbara. Nosotros te encantan ustedes mucho. Truly a pleasure to meet you and hope to stay with you again. Ciao
