Great Stay!

We stayed for the weekend for Breyerfest. I had teenage girls with me. The host checked in on us and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The property had everything we could think of! We plan to stay against next year. Great place to stay!

Just wonderful!!!

We loved staying at the barn. Everything was just perfect for us - lacking nothing. Gwen is a spectacular host and thought of everything to make guests comfortable. The place is just stunning. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog with us who just absolutely loved taking morning and evening walks around the property. This was even better than we hoped it would be. We'd definitely stay here again and hope to soon!

Best Get Ready Place

I got married at the farm next door and it was the perfect place to get ready and then have my wedding night after. Check in was super easy. She gave plenty of instruction for check in and check out plus a personal number for any questions. Plenty of space and had so many upgraded appliances but manuals to explain everything!

Girlfriend getaway

Family stay for wedding

Our whole family loved staying at the barn for a wedding in the area. The property is beautiful and the barn is immaculate and has everything you would need. Plenty of space for the kids to play outside. Gwen and her husband Mark were always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. They were welcoming and made us feel at home. We can’t wait to come back and stay again! Thank you Gwen and Mark!

Relaxing Getaway

The Barn at Deva's was great, it had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Our dog loved running around and exploring the property, including meeting some cows on the neighbors farm. I'd highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable, modern, quiet place to stay while in KY. Gwen was a super gracious host.

Farm Fabulous

Property was everything it claimed to be and more. Farmhouse has beautiful fixtures and amazing morning and evening views. I drank my morning coffee to the sounds of the country. We planned activities in the surrounding areas but would have been happy to spend it all on the property.

Upon entering, you will not be disappointed, clean, modern and classy decor with all of the touches of home! We’ve stayed at other home away from homes and were not disappointed but Gwen exceeded our expectations with all of the little extra touches to more than ample towels, bed linens, extra blankets, espresso, Kcups, make up wipes and more! The Barn is set in a peaceful location and is beautiful inside and out. We look forward to our next visit as Gwen is an awesome host.

Awesome Property

We had a great time staying at the Barn. Gwen was very nice and helpful. The Barn has very new appliances. Everything is very clean. The gas grill had an extra propane tank which always makes me feel better when cooking on the grill. All the wood, kindling and fire starters for the fire pit are present. (We turned over the chairs by the fire pit when we were not using them because birds like to sit on the chairs and bird droppings would get on the chairs.) Cows were fun to be close to. We would definitely stay at the Barn again.

Such an amazing experience!

This property is AMAZING! Nestled in a country setting-it was so peaceful and relaxing. And I cannot say enough good things about Gwen-the host. She was in contact with the the entire time. She even called to check on the “girl crew” when we didn’t arrive soon after the check in time to make sure we were okay (we had made a stop at the outlet stores). Gwen has thought of everything-you name it and she has it stocked at The Barn. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. She is amazing and I will definitely be going back to stay at The Barn again.

Paradise on the farm!

Folks, the pictures do NOT do this property justice! When we arrived (two couples on a long weekend trip), we had smiles ear to ear pulling down the driveway. It was even more beautiful than we had imagined. The wives were going crazy when they walked through the barn door and found something out of Better Homes and Gardens! Modern European design with all the amenities PLUS! The cabinetry and appliances had them looking around like kids in a candy store, and you know what they say, "Happy wives, happy lives!" For the men, you can imagine our delight when we walked into the "garage area" and saw the tractor (Thor) with his bucket raised as if to say HE was the champion! We were more excited that we had a safe space to park our motorcycles in between rides, which brings me to the next topic; roads. If you are here to ride, these are some of the best motorcycling roads I have ridden (and I've rode to every state in the lower 48). Not many straight roads, and every sweeping turn brings you to another amazing scene from a post card. Beautiful farms fill the area between the small, quaint towns that have a bit of history along each Main Street you find. We were so lucky to meet the owner, Gwen. Unfortunately it was on our last day because we could've talked to her for hours. We CANNOT wait to get back in the fall!

Peaceful farm setting with family

We really enjoyed the Barn! Gwen was an amazing host, very responsive. Kitchen had everything (seasonings, evoo, pots, pans, foil) to grill the 2 nights we did and there was enough firewood-we used the pit all 3 nights (s’mores too!). The Barn has great views and we stargazed (brought telescope and used apps to identify constellations, spotted Saturn and shooting stars. We had a full moon, and on last night it was all orange) And, the cows…there is a pasture with these adorable black cows that would appear now and then. Not sure if they were milking cows or what but on our last 2 days, we saw babies! At least 3 lying close to the fence or walking near mamas. Just another little treat. I chose The Barn for a remote farm experience and the great reviews for our fam of 4 (two 21+ sons) on a bourbontour. Cynthiana was further out, but I’m glad we rented because the time spent w/ family in this peaceful, pastoral setting each night was something we all really needed. Itinerary? Day1Angel’s Envy then lunch B4 getting to the Barn, immediately at firepit w/ cocktails, s’mores&tunes. Day2:Woodford,Buffalo, Prodigy winery (eh, nearby pasture was cool– pet & befriended horses) then back to our peaceful retreat. Day3:Claiborne Farm, Lex’s Distillery Dist. (Elkhorn &Pepper dist.), lunch at Lex Native Garden Café (love the Zen), grocery run, back to Barn.Day4 back 2 STL-Heaven Hill tasting then Exchange Pub New Albany. We loved Kentucky!Thank you Gwen for helping make our vaca amazing

The Barn is a gorgeous property in a tranquil setting. The furnishings/decor are clean, uncluttered, and very comfortable. The bedding was luxurious...best sleep I've ever had at a VRBO. Gwen, our host, made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying at The Barn.

Relax and Unwind

Gwen's barn was the most well equipped vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The barn was clean and comfortable in a scenic rural setting not far from town. Gwen is a lovely host who was quick to communicate and answer any questions we might have. Directions to the barn were easy and check in was a breeze!

A relaxing stay at The Barn!

Loved The Barn!

The barn was just perfect for our girls weekend getaway. Sunrises on the patio with coffee, sunsets around the fire pit with wine. This place is great for some solitude without having to drive hours away to find it. And if you’re not looking for solitude, entertainment options are not far away. The owner, Gwen, provides you with everything you would think you’d need. She’s got it all covered to make you feel right at home. Her hospitality can be felt in even the smallest details and her communication was impeccable. This was our 2nd stay here and we’d love to go back!

Bucket list trip

This was a very special trip for us and our stay at the farm could not have gone any better! Gwen was great about communication and so accommodating to a couple of special requests we had. She has thought of literally EVERYTHING and then some. Though this time it was just us two, it would be a blast for 2 couples or a family too. There were a ton of activities to do and everything was so comfortable. The appliances were first class and we enjoyed the nice upgrades while we were there. Everything was spotless and I totally enjoyed watching the cows (I think I need a little one). We even saw a shooting star! Location is very close to many beautiful and fun things to see and do. As soon as we get dates for the event we attended we plan to book for next year. Thank you for sharing your heavenly property with us!

Weekend Getaway

Another great stay at Deva’s Farm. Great hospitality, property manager checks in to make sure everything is in order. Very great attention to detail, everything you need in one spot. If you are traveling with pets, they have everything you need. We have stayed here multiple times, and this is our favorite place to stay. We can’t wait to make another trip!
