Beautiful and rustic log cabin surrounded by pines. Only 3 min. to skiing and 2 minutes to country club/golf and walking distance to lake Monte Verde. Master BR loft with king size bed, full bath; main floor with 2 BR (1 queen and 2 twins), full bath; finished basement with daybed + trundle, 3/4 bath. Two living areas, fireplace, large windows, bar, fully equipped kitchen with mountain-style table that seats 10. Mini-shuffleboard and Fussball table in basement. Outdoor fire pit. Smart TV in living area equipped with DirecTV.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place all towels (including kitchen) in the main floor bathroom tub.
Turn heat to low in winter. Do NOT turn off in the winter
Read all check out instructions in the spiral notebook in the cabin.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Trash must be hauled away. Grill, fire pit, chimney must be left cleaned. $50.00 fee each will be deducted for non-compliance from deposit.
House shoes should be worn around floor grate in hallway. Cooking grease should be soaked in paper towels. Fridge/freezer must be emptied.
Please do not flush anything other than small amounts of toilet paper (NO WIPES). We are on a septic system and will back up and alarm will go off.

This house was perfect for our ski trip, just a short easy drive to the mountain. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and was easy to work with. Definitely recommend!

Very clean, well furnished and beds were pretty comfortable. Would have preferred real patio furniture to enjoy comfortably out on the deck. The motion activated patio light that was supposed be to left on would turn on with animals passing and would shine super bright into the loft bedroom. Also having to drive the trash into town was sort of a hassle, especially when we were leaving with a loaded car. The property is beautiful though, super cute. And we were very comfortable. It’s just close enough to Angelfire but still feel away from everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well labeled. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Basement games were a great bonus, kids loved them! The spare garage door opener was very nice to have for easy entrance/exit. Host was great about checking in with us and answered quickly.

Unfortunately, Angel Fire does not have trash pickup service and requires everyone to take the trash to a gated place with special wildlife proof containers. Perfect Cabin and location!

This was a perfect vacation, the cabin is very spacious and cozy. The view is Beautiful. The location was awesome, only 5 minutes from Angel Fire Ski Resort. We will most definitely be staying again for another annual family trip.

Picturesque Cabin in the Woods

We loved our stay in this roomy and clean cabin. Perfect location to the slopes. It gave us plenty of room to cook, play games and enjoy the views. Host was very responsive and truly cared about making sure our stay was great!

We liked the look and amenities of the inside and loved the cabin look of the outside.

What makes this property unique

Cabin is rustic appearing from the outside, but spacious and comfortable on the inside. Main room has fireplace, couch and chairs and stunning view from large windows. Large, hardwood kitchen table with bright table settings make any meal special. Kitchen with upgraded appliances, kitchenware, blender, coffee maker, toaster. Finished basement with bar, television, table and standing shuffleboard table. Nestled among large trees with huge deck and outdoor fire pit if you want a cowboy breakfast! Great retreat for skiers with indoor storage for skis/boots. Many species of wildlife, short walk through backyard to Monte Verde Lake. Less than a mile to main road, very close to golf. Hiking trails everywhere with Carson National Forest surrounding the resort. Paradise for ATVs. World class mountain bike course on mountain. Wifi available.
