This place is as advertised. If you get the chance you need to stay here. It will allow you to unplug(if you want) and relax. No reason to make any other plans while you stay here, because you won't want to leave.Laura and Dan are wonderful hosts. We will be returning.
We both loved this place and slept do well. Excellent bed, comfortable accommodation and awesome view. Excellent instructions from the owner! We hope to come back!
This was our second visit to this amazing property. The location and the views cannot be beat, and the hosts were so accommodating. We lost power one day, and they promptly responded with a generator. The only issue with this property is that it so amazing you will not want to leave. I had to force myself to leave the view long enough to go explore the charming village of Mendocino and nearby Anderson Valley, Already planning my next retreat to the Cove in Mendocino. Thank you for sharing your property.
Lovely, romantic retreat with a gorgeous ocean view. No stairs was a huge plus! Clean room, all the kitchen and bath necessities. Definitely recommend!
We’ve returned here again and again as we love the location, it’s clean.Nice and bright. No strange smells. The appliances are adequate. The water pressure is good. I use a sleep mask only because the lighthouse in the distance flickers around all night long. The shades provide lots of privacy, but if you are a light-sensitive sleeper, bring a mask. Has good parking with plenty of space to turn around. The outdoor area is kept trimmed and clean. We will keep coming back if possible.
Kelli and I really enjoy our annual trip to Northern California and Mendocino is a very nice getaway with not too much travel time. The place was in very nice shape very clean and we had a great time for the days we were there. He can’t beat the view and the sound of the wave is coming in through the night is very relaxing.
We did not use the fireplace, but the heating system was excellent. The kitchen was as advertised and quite well thought out. And of course, the view can't get any better than this! Beautiful from inside, and sitting in the deck chairs. The bed is quite comfortable, as well 🩹
We had a very relaxing time staying at the cove. The views are breathtaking and it was nice sitting on the patio enjoying a glass of wine and listening to the ocean waves. The location is perfect, it is close to Mendocino, fort Bragg and the Anderson Valley for wine tasting.. if you havent stayed at the Cove, we highly recommend it.
