The villa and its surroundings are - as my normally critical and slightly negative father put it - a little paradise.We had a great stay - the house is beautiful and conveniently located and Gil is highly reactive and helpful. The pool was amazing - especially for the kids.We would be more than happy to return.

The secluded villa with a view

Ideal for family looking for the true Côte d’Azur feel: panoramic view, comfortable villa with an inviting swimming pool, tucked high between the middle and high corniches. Visited most everything between Nice and Monaco and even spent a day in Italy with a late afternoon and dinner in a cute village called Dolceacqua. A wonderful week of excursions, great food and even found time to relax on local beaches.

The house is wonderful and is better in reality and Gil was very helpful and service minded. We stayed 5 people including 3 teenagers. The house is very well equipped.

Beautiful Villa

Used this villa as our home base for many day trips in France. Very helpful & thorough checkin process with owner Gil & his wife. Beautiful pool, attentive host who was always available to answer questions & loved being able to cook in the well stocked kitchen. Would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect beautiful villa with everything you need

Beautiful spacious villa that is so well equipped that we could find everything we needed including in the kitchen. Friendly and helpful hosts. The swimming pool is a nice size to please both children and adults. We had a great week there!

Stunning Villa !

Our family stayed here for a week .. it was the highlight of our trip to France and Italy. It was the perfect space for our family of 8 such a relaxing atmosphere.. everyone commented about the beauty of the villa! Gil was always on hand to communicate with and swift to reply to any of our questions about the area. I highly recommend this villa for a relaxing time in Villefrance !

Thankful

My family, friends and I had a brilliant and rejuvenating holiday in Gil’s and Isabelle’s home. Toscana is a peaceful oasis with spectacular views in the hills above Villefranche sur Mer. The house is charming and comfortable and the private pool is both relaxing and fun. Gil and Isabelle are kind and attentive hosts and we truly hope to be back again.

Beautiful Home

As an extended family of 8 with teenagers this was the perfect property to kick back and enjoy a beautiful part of the world. Gil could not have been more helpful before and during our stay. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this for all age groups although the pool and decking area was a real winner for us. Thank you Gil!

Beautiful Villa in Ville Franche

Gil and Isabelle’s Villa was absolutely stunning. The night our friends arrived, we had dinner outside around the pool overlooking the incredible views. After a day touring the Cote D’Azur, it was always nice to return to a nice clean and spacious villa. The gardens surrounding the villa are beautifully kept, pristine, yet natural. I would highly recommend this villa for the ultimate South of France experience! Merci a Gil et Isabelle.

Great for a big family

We spent 14 days in the house and we have enjoyed it immensely. We are a big family with 4 teenage children and it worked very well. The house is very spacious and allows for excellent common areas (the pool etc) which is great but also privacy for those who want it. There is almost nothing to complain about but the kitchen is a bit dated and the wifi is simply too slow for work e.g. the basement has abit of an odor but it is not a huge problem. The hosts are great and we highly recommend this place.

Wonderful French Riviera Experience!

The “Villa Toscane” is a dream of a place and the perfect abode for our vacation in the South of France. The ebullient and caring hosts Gil and Isabella made every part of our stay memorable and carefree. From the linens and silverware and well appointed furnishings — it was indeed one of the most idyllic and fun summer experiences ever for our 4th Wedding anniversary with friends and family. The local beaches, cuisine, hospitality and surrounding have given me some inspiration for my retirement here. Do NOT hesitate to book this Villa— “time of your life “ type scenario!!! Relaxing

The Villa was perfect for a family of 6. Lots of space and beautiful views everywhere you look. After spending our days sightseeing, we appreciated coming back to the Villa and enjoying the pool and views in quiet on the patio. The grounds are beautifully cared for and the home is very clean. A quick Uber ride can get you to the train to take you wherever you want to go. Gil and Isabelle are excellent hosts who really went beyond to make sure all our questions were answered. Also, Gil always responded very timely to all emails leading up to and during our stay. We loved every part of our holidays and highly recommend this property & it’s hosts.

Great holiday in Villefranche

Gil was very helpful all through the process helping us understand more about the area and how we got about for shopping/taxis etc. Property is on a tiny road so not accessible to anything other than a mid-sized car. Right up in the hills but an amazing view and fabulous property. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with the house full of everything you need and very elegant interior. Pool was fresh but great. Overall, wonderful but walking anywhere is not really possible - however, Uber is available and shopping can be delivered. Thank you Gil!

Beautiful Villa

We spent a week at Villa Toscane. It was totally perfect! The process of booking and communicating with the owner beforehand was easy. The check-in was welcoming and uncomplicated. And the villa...well, the villa, the pool and the location are incredible. A hidden gem on the hillside and it felt very special to be staying there. Its possible to get around with an Uber (just allow a bit of time) and there is a bus to Beaulieu at the top of the road about a 5 minute walk. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a property big enough for a group of 8 to have enough space but with cosy and characterful communal spaces to cook and eat and enjoy time together. We'd certainly love to go back!

Incredible view and property

We stayed at the villa for 21 days in September. At times there were 4 adults and sometimes 6 adults. The view and the grounds of the villa were spectacular. There was even an herb garden with some fresh basil and thyme. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We had such a wonderful stay and enjoyed to spacious patio and pool area. There is also another table snd chairs in front that stays shaded all day and was perfect for the warmer days. The villa itself was very French with beautiful and comfortable. There were Mediterranean views from all 3 upstairs bedrooms. The bedroom below was spacious and had a seperate bath and work area. - the bedrooms all had their own air conditioning and seperate controls. The main living area was very comfortable for 6 people with ample seating and expansive views from inside the villa. We did not rent a car because we were not comfortable driving in the area but we’re able to get Uber lifts and groceries delivered daily or as needed. We also recommend hiring drivers for daily excursions and sight seeing tours as there are so many private tours available. The trains were accessible in Villefranche to go anywhere in France. We loved our stay. We are in our 60’s and our kids all in their 30’s and we had an incredible time. There were a lot of stairs up or down so make sure you can handle multiple levels - we had an amazing time. Perfect place to relax and unwind and to be home base to see the incredible region . The host was very nice and came by for check in and out. There were so many beautiful views even nights with full moon on the Mediterranean!

Très belle maison agréable à vivre. Juste un accès relativement compliqué et difficile de garer 3 voitures ,obligation de sortir en marche arrière. Il fait signaler que la maison n est pas très près de villefrance et Beaulieu .cela dit le séjour et la piscine étaient très agréable. Bilan positif malgré la difficulté d 'accès et la distance à la mer .

The villa itself the property and the pool were absolutely gorgeous. The hosts were fantastic and greeted us on site. Gill went out of his way and changed flat tire for me. The only downside was that the roads to the property were treacherous, and I ended up having two flat tires on two different rental cars. The only other thing to know is that the bedrooms are air-conditioned, but the main level of the house is not so it was a bit uncomfortable in 89 degree weather.

The villa was perfection. Gorgeous view, excellent accommodations, beautiful pool. Everything you could want or need. Gil and Isabelle were especially wonderful. They went out of their way to help us with transportation and getting to the villa. You cannot walk to the train station so will need to take an uber. The road to the villa is extremely narrow and most Ubers are hesitant to come down it so you can just walk down the gravel driveway and up the short road to meet them. This villa is amazing in every way. Do not think twice. Book it! Thank you Gil and Isabelle!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at French Villa and say exceeded expectations would be an understatement for the moment we walked through the door. It was clear this property is a in a league of its own. attention to detail in the home is remarkable. It is thoughtfully design, a particularly clean, rear combination of luxury and genuine comfort. Every amenity felt intentional. The layout is spacious - high-end, and the view is nothing short of breathtaking It’s a real fine, a place that fills this curated yet welcome after truly relaxing beyond the physical space. The management team at the French villa need a special mention - they were proactive professionally ensured that every aspect of what we needed was taken care of. It is evident they take pride in their property and that commitment to qualities is felt in every interaction in every corner of the home whether you’re looking for a tranquil getaway or high-end based to explore the French Riveria. I cannot cannot recommend Frenchville highly enough it was without question an amazing experience. I already looking forward to our next visit.

On s’y sent bien!

Une magnifique villa, dont le cadre compense largement l’accès un peu plus difficile que d’autres propriétés louées par ni le passé. Une villa où l’on se sent bien et qui a une âme. Tenir par les propriétaires occupants, on note de suite la différence! Une villa charmante, chaleureuse et bien équipée pour y cuisiner et où on a le goût de se poser. Très bien adaptée pour les enfants!
