Quiet and secluded, yet still close to the action, this lovely West Glacier chalet is perfect for a small family or a few close friends looking to experience the unspoiled beauty of northwest Montana. Home comforts including wireless internet and a private washer/dryer combined with incredible views of the mountains make this vacation rental an ideal home-away-from-home.

Just a mile away from Glacier National Park, this home offers easy access to a variety of outdoor pursuits. It`s also close to West Glacier`s modest business district, which includes a few local restaurants as well as a small grocery store. Additionally, Whitefish is 24 miles away, and Kalispell is around 32 miles away. While you’re staying at the chalet, you can take a quick walk to the West Glacier Nordic ski track, with more than 5k of groomed ski trail for skate and classic skiers to enjoy while surrounded by views of Glacier National Park.

Inside, this chalet is homey and welcoming. The ground floor features a cozy family room with comfortable furnishings. On the main floor, the vaulted ceiling makes the room feel spacious, while a wall of windows affords excellent views of the surroundings.

Cooking is easy thanks to the well-appointed open kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances and plenty of cabinets and storage space. There`s even a dishwasher, so after-dinner cleanup is over before you know it. The dining room table has room for eight. There`s also a gas grill available for cookouts and propane is provided.

After dinner, step out onto the private deck and enjoy a glass of wine or a mug of cocoa while you look out and admire the beauty of nature.

With three bedrooms and one bathroom, this chalet can comfortably accommodate six guests. In addition to two queen beds and a twin bunk bed set in the bedrooms, the loft features a full-size sofabed, so sleeping arrangements are flexible.

Thanks to the proximity of Glacier National Park, you`ll find a wide variety of outdoor activities available all throughout the year. In the winter, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing are popular pursuits. In warmer months, enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, and mountain biking. You`ll also find downhill skiing and snowboarding at nearby Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Looking for a day of leisure? Enjoy a few rounds of golf at Glacier View Golf Club, or plan a day trip to the cities of Whitefish or Kalispell for galleries, museums, specialty stores, restaurants, and cafes.

1) Respect quiet hours between 9 pm and 8 am.
2) Please treat this like your home and keep floors, windows and counters clean throughout your stay.
3) No parties or events
4) Put nothing other than toilet paper in toilets...we have a very sensitive system that will backup if clogged.

7) Parties or any event allowing more persons than those renting the house allowed only with written approval from homeowner and may come at an additional. No one outside of the people staying are allowed without prior approval, and no more than 2 vehicles allowed (unless specified). Sadly, several renters have used my house as a party place resulting in broken items, additional cleaning and outright disrespect. If you have plans for anyone else visiting, please inquire and provide details.
