The house is beyond beautiful. It's huge! Being right on the beach was wonderful. There were only minor issues - theater room didn't have the projector working, a couple of the showers were draining well, but again - this was minor. Our overall experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend this house to anyone.

The space allowed us to all be under one roof for our small family reunion. Being able to sit around a dinner table together helped make it a special gathering. The Location on the beach was great. The kitchen was well stocked. Part of the attraction was that we had two people that needed help getting into the house. Having a ramp and an elevator was an attraction. The extra high beds were challenging for those two people. We borrowed two wheelchairs for the beach in Pacific city. Really added to the fun. The view was a daily delight. Overall everyone enjoyed their stay.

Location is outstanding and house is huge but maintenance of the property is significantly lacking. The house needs a deep cleaning and carpet replaced. The beds are squeaky and uncomfortable - one even had a broken bedspring and could not be used which was extremely disappointing as it was one of the bedrooms with the best view. The BBQ was almost inoperable - my husband and father had to spend an hour working on it to use for dinner. Power was out upon arrival but luckily came on about an hour later. Fridges smelled bad and one of the burners in the main kitchen didn't work. Host seemed disconnected and almost irritated by questions - originally confirmed we could check-in early and then came back a couple of hours later after determining the owners' friends were still on-property and it would not be available early. Overall we would not stay here again primarily due to the lack of value - the property is overpriced for not being well maintained.

We sincerely apologize for the unexpected power outage upon your arrival. Fortunately, it was restored within about an hour, but we understand it was an inconvenient start to your vacation. We also regret that one of the beds was not in usable condition. As soon as we were made aware of the issue, we replaced the bed to ensure future guests would not experience the same problem. The barbecue has also since been serviced. Regarding the early check-in, we always do our best to accommodate these requests when our schedule allows. Unfortunately, the departing occupants were unable to vacate as early as anticipated, making it impossible to provide early access. We understand that was disappointing and apologize for the change in plans. Cleanliness and maintenance are priorities for us, and we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

The beach was the best thing about the property. The showers were all clogged, no window coverings on main floor master in front of fire pit. Main refrigerator in kitchen was not functioning and unusable. One of the main bedrooms mattress had a crater on the left side causing a guest two sleepless nights. Remotes were missing for some tv’s and fireplace making them unaccessible. We had 13 adults and 3 children staying at the property and only 9 forks in the whole house. When I emailed the property manager, she accused me of trying to extort money from her.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beach access and location of the home. We do want to clarify several points in your review- The refrigerator is new so it could only be repaired by a warranty technician which took longer to schedule than a local tech. While this was being repaired (which we notified guest of prior to stay) we added another fridge so there were still 3 full sized fridges in the home. The home is also regularly inventoried and stocked for large groups, including kitchen utensils and household essentials. Had we been notified during your stay that additional items were needed, we would have gladly delivered them immediately. Regarding the showers, remotes, and mattress concerns, these were not reported until after the stay or they would have also been immediately addressed. We always encourage guests to contact us during their visit so we can resolve any issues quickly and ensure a comfortable experience. We have now replaced the mattress, verified showers are fully draining, and inventoried remotes. We also disagree with the characterization of our communication. A week after checkout you requested for a full refund in exchange for a good review. We declined this exaction as it is against our policies. Our team worked professionally throughout the interaction while attempting to understand and address the concerns being raised. We take guest feedback seriously and continuously maintain and improve the home.

The home is absolutely stunning and an unbelievable view, however, the had not been cleaned at all, the refrigerator did not work, the home had a very pungent odor, had food in one of the other refrigerators, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, garbage in a large trash can in the middle of the dining room. When this was brought to the attention of the people who arranged for the rental, complete silence. Very bad.

Breathtaking Getaway!

This was such a wonderful getaway location and we were lucky enough to also have beautiful weather! From the time we walked in the front door to the time we left, everything was perfect. Plenty of space, a well stocked chef's kitchen, beautiful views and comfortable beds :-) We are already looking at dates for our next family get together!!

Optima Foot & Ankle yearly Beach Trip

This is the 2nd time we have rented this beautiful home. It is perfect for our work family. Large, well equipped kitchen to cook in, amazing outdoor area and views. The kids enjoy the theater and game area while the adults enjoy the quiet upstairs. Perfect get away for any family reunion or girls weekend.

Beautiful, spacious home on the beach

This house was perfect for my company's work retreat! It had enough bedrooms and large beds for all 10 of us, had more space, games, and household items than expected, and has an astounding view of the ocean. I could hear it from my oceanfront room with the doors and windows closed! Check-in and checkout instructions were thorough and easy to follow, and the owner was very kind, responsive, and helpful.

Fun on the Ocean beach.

This was a definitely a luxury home. It is right on the Ocean beach. We walked frequently to see the sun rise and set as well as experience the high and low tide.

Great house and location made it feel like you were on a semi-secluded beach, house is so big we kept getting lost and turned around in it. Property manager was kind of rude otherwise we all had a great time celebrating 50years of marriage with all our kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Perfect!

We found this beautiful house perfect for our three generation family vacation. It had everything we needed and then some! Being able to watch the children on the beach from the comfort of our private patio was a big plus! One of our family member uses a wheelchair and we appreciated the accessibility both in the use of the elevator , an accessible suit and the outside patio! We will be back!

The first time we visited Neskowin we fell in love! We love the small town feel and the privacy it offers. The beach is never crowded but and there are so many activities in the area.
This property is truly the finest home we have ever seen on the Oregon coast. We have looked for a long time to find the perfect fit for a new ocean front home and this home was beyond our expectations. We think our guests will be amazed by the amenities and luxuries of this ocean front estate.

What makes this property unique

Fully accessible. This home was built to accommodate persons with mobility challenges. Extra wide hallways, ramps to outdoor spaces, elevator and a wheel-in shower are all amenities that help to make this home a place where every member of the family can come and enjoy the beach.
