We do, however, want to clarify several inaccuracies in your review. This 7,400-square-foot home has three independent hot water systems, and one experienced an issue during your stay. All showers and bathrooms remained operational with hot water available. While we recognize the inconvenience caused by the affected system, the suggestion that half the home was without hot water is not accurate. Our hot tub service company was onsite the morning after your arrival (and prior to your stay) and the hot tub was serviced to your satisfaction. We promptly arranged for professional plumbers to assess and repair the affected hot water system during your stay. Although repairs were completed, we subsequently chose to fully replace the affected equipment to ensure long-term reliability. We understand that unexpected issues can be frustrating. We take these concerns seriously and work diligently with our professional service providers to resolve them as quickly as possible. We offered compensation for the inconveniences experienced during your stay, along with a substantial repeat-guest discount. These offers represented several thousand dollars in savings and compensation. We extended these offers in good faith because we genuinely value our guests and are happy to have them return. Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beach access and location of the home. We do want to clarify several points in your review- The refrigerator is new so it could only be repaired by a warranty technician which took longer to schedule than a local tech. While this was being repaired (which we notified guest of prior to stay) we added another fridge so there were still 3 full sized fridges in the home. The home is also regularly inventoried and stocked for large groups, including kitchen utensils and household essentials. Had we been notified during your stay that additional items were needed, we would have gladly delivered them immediately. Regarding the showers, remotes, and mattress concerns, these were not reported until after the stay or they would have also been immediately addressed. We always encourage guests to contact us during their visit so we can resolve any issues quickly and ensure a comfortable experience. We have now replaced the mattress, verified showers are fully draining, and inventoried remotes. We also disagree with the characterization of our communication. A week after checkout you requested for a full refund in exchange for a good review. We declined this exaction as it is against our policies. Our team worked professionally throughout the interaction while attempting to understand and address the concerns being raised. We take guest feedback seriously and continuously maintain and improve the home.

We sincerely apologize for the unexpected power outage upon your arrival. Fortunately, it was restored within about an hour, but we understand it was an inconvenient start to your vacation. We also regret that one of the beds was not in usable condition. As soon as we were made aware of the issue, we replaced the bed to ensure future guests would not experience the same problem. The barbecue has also since been serviced. Regarding the early check-in, we always do our best to accommodate these requests when our schedule allows. Unfortunately, the departing occupants were unable to vacate as early as anticipated, making it impossible to provide early access. We understand that was disappointing and apologize for the change in plans. Cleanliness and maintenance are priorities for us, and we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve.
