Great place to stay while visiting Yellowstone. It’s just a short drive away from the park but far enough away to get out of the crowded area. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

The cottage was just as advertised. Very clean plenty of kitchen equipment . There were plenty of towels and the bed was very comfortable. If you are going to Yellowstone NP take Bill’s advice on timing and way to bypass traffic. We would def stay there again.

Loved the 3 nights we were there, very kozy and accommodating. Easy to find in the daylight might be a bit harder at night but overall it was a great place to stay! Quick drive into west yellowstone not too far

Great location and comfortable stay

We stayed two nights at the Kozy Cabin and found it to be a great place to come back to after a day in Yellowstone. Updated kitchen in a rustic cabin with a good amount of space. Nice that it's dog friendly as well with some walkable dirt roads around the neighborhood. It was just what we needed and Bill was a very responsive and helpful host.

Perfect little cabin for Yellowstone visit.

This is truly a rustic but clean log cabin. We loved the "vibe" and the big porch. Great for watching the stars at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable! The plumbing was a little slow to drain but that would have to be our only "con" for this stay. The location is great... only 12-15 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone. The town of West Yellowstone was a great surprise too! Fun and touristy with great food and shops.

Underwhelming

The front door couldn't lock so we had to take all our valuables whenerver we left the cabin. The bathroom sink area had a strange smell which was unpleasant. Location was fine. Check in was easy. It was an older cabin that can use a little upgrade. Overall it was mehhh.

Cute little cabin for rusticating

This is a nice little cabin in a nice neighborhood. It is very convenient to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone NP. My wife commented that the stove and pots were the nicest we had during our six week trip (this was the 8th VRBO property we stayed in on the trip.) This appears to be an original log cabin with a couple of additions...very nice experience. Two complaints: 1) There is no door on the bathroom, only a curtain. (Not shown in the VRBO pictures.) This makes for very little privacy...even for a married couple. 2) The recliner is broken and needs replaced.

Cozy little cabin

This little cabin had everything that we needed to explore Yellowstone. We didn't spend much time at the cabin, other than late evenings, and it was perfectly cozy. The only thing that could have been improved was the communication on the actual location of the cabin. We didn't arrive until after dark, and maps directions doesn't take you directly to the location of the cabin, and the way it is situated was difficult to find. Not a single light was left on in the cabin for us, which made things even more difficult. Other than that little inconvenience, everything was fine. I would recommend this place for a couple, who's looking for a rustic place to stay close to Yellowstone.

Kozy Cabin&65

We really enjoyed our stay for my 65th birthday at the cabin. Visited the park two days before the weather turned on us and we made the decision to head south and try to get to family in the Bitterroot Valley to ride it outbefore the 10 to 12 inches of snow forecasted arrived in West Yellowstone area. Bill had a contractor coming to make repairs on the roof, he had been waiting for contractors for months, the last full day we were supposed to be there and other than a slow shower drain, which we didnt report, sorry Bill. The place was the iconic kozy cabin. The exterior could use some freshening near the entrance and looked to be under construction, but did not effect our stay. We knew we were at the end of the season with our trip and not dissspointed at all how things worked out.

Kozy Cabin Getaway

We were visiting Yellowstone National Park for our honeymoon/1 yr anniversary and we loved our stay here! The Kozy Cabin was actually quite spacious and we had plenty of room to relax after traveling and sightseeing all day. The owner sent very detailed directions, however the VRBO app kept crashing so I would recommend screenshotting or writing them down beforehand (the owner did put up a sign while we were here which will be very helpful for future guests!). The kitchen was very well stocked, the Wi-Fi worked great to keep you connected once you got back from the park. A previous review had mentioned there being no door to the bathroom which we were prepared for, so we were pleasantly surprised to see one had been added! Their website was also very helpful, and we used it to find grocery stores, restaurants, and some additional things to do outside the park. The location was just enough away from town to be a little more personal, but still just a quick drive to whatever you needed. Our only regret was that the weather didn’t cooperate for us to enjoy the patio/deck area. You are a little close to the main road but the mountain scenery off the porch/kitchen makes up for it. Overall we had a great time here and if we come back we will book here again!

Small cottage

The inside of the cottage was clean so no complaints there. The disappointment in the cottage was a few things. 1. It is not secluded as you would think from the pictures. If you sit on the front porch your are about 50 feet from viewing another cottages. 2. There was a smell in the cottage, I would guess from just being closed in so much. 3. The steps leading into the entrance are a little unsafe but that’s just my thought especially if older. 4. It got up to 88 during the day and no AC. 5. The recliner in the living room is broken, not a big deal but just wanted to mention. We came in at 1am in the morning due to flight dely and let owner know but no outside light even on for us and VERY hard to find in dark. We actually pulled up to it and thought it was abandoned due to tall grass.

The cabin was roomy, clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed our stay there. We had a dog and there was a nice safe road we could walk her on daily. It’s a little ways outside of town but that’s what we wanted. It was quiet which was great after a day in the park and the town.

I stayed at Lazy Acres for 5 days in August. The cabin was rustic. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The location is prime: quiet with great views, 7 miles away from the entrance to Yellowstone. The furniture was comfortable. There was a nice deck at the front of the house. Recommended!
