Superb Provencal Village House with South Facing Roof Terrace with Stunning View
WELCOME TO 7 PLACE ST. PIERRE
This lovely old stone medieval house was once one of the olive mills in the village where olives were pressed, silk worms working their magic on the higher floors and outside you will see the rings where donkeys were tethered delivering each load of olives for pressing.
Place St. Pierre is located in the village of Callas below the ruined Castle walls in a quiet square and just a short 5 minute walk to the village.
If you are looking for somewhere special to embrace French village life then this is it! Beautiful Provencal villages, St. Tropez and beaches 45 minutes away, a wealth of amazing vineyards on your doorstep, local Provençal markets, golf, watersports, superb cycling terrain and the fabulous Gorge du Verdon – all nearby.
1 hour Nice Airport, Marseille Airport 1hr 20 minutes and Toulon Airport 1 hour (Toulon Airport more seasonal for summer months).
The house can accommodate 4 people comfortably (1x double room and 1x twin room) and is furnished and equipped to a high standard, with all home comforts. From a stylish kitchen for those of you who love cooking to the delightful south facing roof terrace with amazing views down to the Maures & Esterel Mountains if you simply want to relax.
Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels provided. Beach/sunbed towels, TV, Bose wireless sound system and free WIFI.
To ensure your stay runs smoothly our dear friend Liz De Yong who looks after our house and subject to your arrival time will be on hand to Welcome you and guide you quickly around the house. Liz prides herself on the first class service she offers so if you have any problems she is only a phone call away. Liz and her husband Harry live locally in the next village called 'Bargemon'. Liz is Canadian and also speaks excellent French.

The house has belonged to Sarah & David Booth for the last 22 years and they spend as much time as possible here to enjoy the peace and quiet, socialise with their local friends, enjoy traditional Provencal food and of course not forgetting the great local wine!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Place St. Pierre due to its quiet charm, stunning views from the terrace over the mountains and vineyards to the South and down to the sea in the distance, easy walk to the village with its bars and restaurants whilst situated in the heart of magnificent vineyards.
What makes this property unique
We have a passion for old buildings and it is believed to be around 900 years old, which we have lovingly restored.
