COVID DISINFECTED: Beautiful renovated studio,
1 room with double bed, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 additional sofa bed of 1. 40 x 1. 80 that can accommodate 1 adult.

Located in the tourist ring of Madrid, but at the same time in an authentic and quiet area of ​​the mythical neighborhood of Chamberí. The nearest Metro stations are CANAL, ARGUELLES, MONCLOA and PHILIPPINE ISLANDS.

There are many shops, tapas bars and restaurants. Easy access to the most emblematic places of the area walking and by Metro (3 minutes and 4 stops are the Metro stops of Opera and Sol). There is a direct line from CANAL (where our house is) or you can also walk (15 min.).

We have put all our enthusiasm and affection in reforming our modern and small apartment to make our guests find a wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing in Madrid. Everything in the apartment is very new and has the best qualities.

Our guests receive a very special treatment and great recommendations on places to go and visit so that your trip to our city is an unforgettable experience !.

The neighborhood of Chamberi is one of the most typical of the center of Madrid. There are many tapas bars and restaurants in the area, old bakeries, organic shops, supermarkets, even a super 24h.

The traditional Chamberi Market is also very close to the house. To leave, the Galileo Galilei room, mythical in Madrid, offers music or theater shows almost every night. Also the Teatros del Canal just 3 min offer all kinds of cultural events. If you like golf, then Canal Golf (Green Canal) is your place, and if you like sports right next to you, you will find a place to practice outdoor sports, which is also free.

The English Court of Arguelles and the shopping streets, the Pontifical University of Comillas, several hospitals and the student zone of Moncloa and University City are also very close. You can walk to the Templo de Debod or even take the cable car to see Madrid from the sky !.

If you like to walk in 15-20 min you will be at the Puerta del Sol or the El Prado or Thyssen museums. If you prefer to take the Metro you have several stations (3 min walk from the CANAL) and others also nearby like Islas Filipinas, Alonso Cano, Quevedo, San Bernardo, Arguelles. You can decide depending on which line you are interested in taking.

Great apartment, great experience

This apartment was just as described on the property page. It is lovely, well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast and wine that Alma provided was a very nice touch. The location is good with lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The Canal metro stop is also close. Alma is a perfect host! She was quick to respond to our requests and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. All in all...a great apartment, a great host, and a great experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful flat! Highly recommend it!

The apartment is very clean, compact and a perfect holiday home for a couple. It is very central to some wonderful restaurants and a couple of delicious bakeries are just a few steps from the place. There is also a nice fruit stand across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Mara amd Alfredo for all your great suggestions! 😊

Amazing Apartment & Host

There are so many positive things to say about our stay in Alma’s apartment, that it’s difficult without writing an entire book, so I will try my best to sum up some key points, given that most people don’t like to read lengthy reviews. I would simply say that this apartment is better than described on the property page. The first of many fantastic touches was the lovely bottle of wine, fruit and snacks that were waiting for us upon arrival, which immediately made us feel very welcomed. I have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and I can truthfully say that I have never met a better host than Alma, who is genuinely a nice & caring person. Her communication was fantastic, and it started well before we arrived, by sending us an email which read like a travel guide that contained information on her favorite things to see and do in the area. As well, Alma’s attention to detail is outstanding and she genuinely cares about making your stay the very best it can be. I stayed for 10 days in this apartment with my daughter, who was in Madrid for knee surgery at a nearby hospital. It was especially sincere how Alma asked questions and inquired about my daughter’s wellbeing. Near the end of our stay, we found out that my daughter was required to stay in Madrid for another week for medical treatment, but this apartment had already been rented out, so Alma and her husband went out of their way to come over and assist me in carrying our bags over to a nearby hotel, where we stayed for a couple of days until my daughter could move to Alma’s other property for the reminder of her medical treatment. Although I was on my way back home by then, Alma made sure to meet my daughter, and assisted her with moving her bags up to the new apartment (and made sure she was safely settled in). I’m now back in Canada as I write this review, while my daughter is still recuperating in Alma’s other property, but I can safely say that I feel comforted knowing that Alma would step in in a second to help out if my daughter needed anything or if she ran into any complications without me being there. If and when I come back to Madrid, I would not even consider staying at any other place, as I would absolutely stay in Alma’s apartment again in the future....Thanks for everything Alma! Apartamento muy bonito y bien comunicado

Está muy bien equipado, incluyendo el aire acondicionado, algo imprescindible en Madrid en verano, y decorado con mucho gusto. Muy nuevo y limpio. Los dueños, encantadores. Nos dejaron información de la zona y unos detalles que nos sorprendieron gratamente. Muy bien comunicado por metro con la zona centro. Recomendable.
