Kilmore Quay Castleview House, situated just a 10 minute walk from the fishing village of Kilmore Quay enjoys a truly amazing location with views over the burrow of Kilmore Quay.

A beautiful traditional Irish fishing village located on the coast of County Wexford in the South East of Ireland. This is an un-spoilt village, with thatched cottages dotted throughout, with beautiful coastal walks, and the fabulous Saltee Islands off the coast which hosts one of the largest bird sanctuaries in Europe.

Kilmore Quay can deliver a host of activities to accommodate your visit from Crafts, Chartered Boats, Diving, Sailing, Shore Angling and an array Wildlife attractions.

Experience the Sumptuous Restaurants, where seafood is a speciality, or enjoy a pint in one of the many Pubs in the village.

One of only three marinas in Ireland to hold this award, Kilmore Quay Marina has been awarded yet another Blue Flag at a recent ceremony in Dublin.

The private house is located in a quiet cul de sac and has both front and rear landscaped gardens.     Great stay, great location

    We had a fantastic week in Castleview.. very spacious house which was very clean and was equipped with everything you could need.. location is excellent and you can walk into Kilmore Quay. Martin was also so helpful and at the end of the phone if needed. Will definitely use again..

    A Great house for a family holiday

    The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. As a family holiday house it was one of the best I have stayed in the two sitting rooms meant we could spread out and the two ensuites meant there was less pressure on the bathroom! The caretaker was very kind and accommodating, leaving us in some supplies and even a cake, which was very welcome because some of us arrived very late in the night. Kilmore Quay is a lovely town and I would highly recommend it and the house for a family holiday.

    Luxury house lovely wee village

    We were delighted with our holiday house on the outskirts of kilmore quay. It was spotless and fully equipped. The owner Martin even left us an apple tart and milk and a few essentials for the kitchen. Garden was private and massive. Children and adults had a whale of a time. If u were heading to the beach you did need to drive to cart all your stuff but we did walk it 1 evening just for the stroll. Ideal location. We were definitely delighted with our choice.

    Fabulous House

    We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful house and were thoroughly impressed. The house itself is incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for our entire group to relax and enjoy our time together. Lovely big garden for kids to play. Every corner of the property was spotless. The living areas were perfect for gathering, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, accommodating our needs. From the moment we booked, the group managing our reservation was outstanding—helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with any queries we had.     Really wonderful stay

    This stay was absolutely perfect. We booked as a work trip as we were making a small short film in Kilmore Quay, and Martin, our host, could not have been more helpful and attentive. He went above and beyond for us, even picking us up from the station when we were stuck without a bus or a car and helped us find our way around ! The property itself was immaculate, really well furnished and a pleasure to stay in. Would be perfect for big families, excellent views of the castle, everything you could need for a self catering property.

    Relaxing week in beautiful, bright & spacious home!

    Myself, my sister & my 2 daughters & their children spent a lovely week in Castleview Holiday Home in Kilmore Quay. The 5 bedroom house was so comfortable & the large, bright kitchen/living room/sunroom was ideal for a large group & never felt crowded. The large lawn at the back was a gift for the boys. I loved the big concrete/ brick patio area because we could sit out & watch the baby. We walked into the village a few times, it's only 10 minutes but with a child on a bike & a buggy, we felt a gravel path would be a huge help. Martin was so helpful & was there if we needed him. With 3 bathrooms we never ran out of hot water, loads of towels & very comfortable beds. We came home truly refreshed!

    Fabulous spacious home with all the amenities needed

    We spent 3 nights in Castleview (4 adults and 4 young kids) and we had a lovely time. The house is extremely spacious (indoors and also outdoors). The 2 sitting rooms and the big kitchen made for a very comfortable stay and we were so glad it had everything we needed (plenty of kitchen utensils, condiments, items for laundry, etc.). Martin was a very helpful host and as promised we were only 10 mins walk to the town and beach. We will hopefully be back.

    Very spacious property in great location

    This property is a very bright comfortable and spacious bungalow. We were two families (9 in total) on a short break together and everyone had plenty of room. It is well equipped and had everything you would need. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the lovely fishing village and beach at Kilmore Quay with its host of houses with thatched rooves. The caretaker - Martin - is a very pleasant and helpful man.

    Hi, we were a group of 10. House was very well equipped and a great size with ample space for all parties. Martin was super. We forgot a hairdryer and was delivered in under 15 minutes. Mary Barrys is a must. They collected us and dropped us home. Great location.

    Beautiful house

    Castleview is a beautiful, spacious house with everything you will need. Kitchen is well equipped, good showers, lots of space with big back garden. Beds could do with an update!! Martin the caretaker couldn’t do enough for us, a real gentleman. Location is very picturesque. Close to village but definitely not suitable for walking due to narrow, busy roads. A car is essential.

    Staycation in beautiful Wexford

    The house is very spacious and is equipped with everything. As we were only travelling from Kildare we packed up the car with coffee machines and toasters but no need it’s all there. Great location to explore… The only advice to anyone staying Summer 2021 you will need to make dinner reservations. Most places in Kilmore were booked up. Mary Barry’s is a must. We drove out about 10k to Mylers the food there was also super good. Drive is about 25 minutes into Wexford Town. There’s only a small Mace supermarket in Kilmore Quay for groceries

    A beautiful spacious house

    We were a family group of nine and had a great time in this house. It has five bedrooms a really large kitchen and two sitting rooms so we were not under one another's feet. The house is really well equipped with utensils and furniture. Martin the caretaker was very helpful with everything.

    A bright & spacious property in a lovely location close to the sea

    We had a very pleasant stay at Castleview! The only downside to the location is the road into the beach is quite busy and has no footpath which is a shame. The property itself is well kept, with plenty of rooms to accommodate guests and a lovely big garden to the rear. The bathrooms were nice & clean with good showers but the beds could all do with an upgrade! We were greeted with an apple tart on arrival which was a nice touch...

    Family New Years celebration.

    Rented both houses for our family new years gathering, it was very comfortable for 15 adults and 3 children. Houses are conveniently located only 1 minutes drive from Kilmore quay where you have local pubs and restaurants. Would definitely come back again.

    This accommodation was booked by myself and my sister for a family celebration over the weekend in conjunction with Castleview 2.. fantastic location; fantastic accommodation; well equipped and spacious; ideal for large families.     Nice house in a great location.

    We have 3 families staying together, plenty of space for everyone, good facilities, some attention to detail needed for cleaning e.g cobwebs on ceiling however general cleaning was very good, kitchen, bathrooms, floors etc very clean.

    Short family holiday and visting family

    The central heating did not work very well and then stopped working so only the wood burner to keep us warm in the lounge. However Martin did all he could and got the plumber and electriction out to us as soon as possible but we were all very cold. With not knowing the area very well maybe it was a bit too isolated for us.

    Overall we enjoyed our stay. Only two things spoiled it. One was that the beds In some rooms were very uncomfortable so several of us didn't get a good night's sleep. The other main gripe was that there was little to do with out traveling a distance and then only to find it closed until the weekend. Great area for eating out especially the Mary Barry seafood bar.. The garden was great for the grandchildren but the gardener should NOT be spraying weedkiller around especially without informing us. Overall I would give it 6 out of 10.

    An excellent stay

    Fabulous house and location. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just the one comment, the bed mattresses in some of the room are of poor quality particularly the bedroom at end of corridor on the left. The adults staying in that room complained about the mattress and didn't have great sleep during the week which was the only negative.
