The cottage was originally a workshop for the local serpentine stone, which is found nowhere else in England.
The cottage has recently been attractively refurbished to provide comfortable and peaceful holiday accommodation. Although fully modernised the cottage retains many of its original features, including an attractive window seat in the lounge. The cottage also benefits from a log burner
All on the ground floor, the accommodation sleeps 4 and comprises:
LOUNGE: with sofa, chairs, TV with USB port and DVD player. Log burning stove. WiFi.
CONSERVATORY KITCHEN/DINING AREA: with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, table and chairs, iPod/MP3 Player docking station and radio.
BATHROOM: with bath, power shower overhead, WC, wash basin and convection heater.
DOUBLE BEDROOM: with view of the Lizard Lighthouse and sea beyond.
SMALL BEDROOM: with bunk beds (suitable for adults). Note: Top bunk not suitable for children under 6 years old.
GARDEN: enclosed garden with picnic table.
HEATING: convector heaters and log burning stove.
PARKING: can be found on the road just outside the cottage.
SPECIAL NOTES: a travel cot and high chair are provided. A large fireguard and a stairgate are also provided for the safety of children. There is a new children’s play area across the road from the cottage.
