About the host

My husband and I moved to Cornwall in 1999 and have been renting Mount Earl as a holiday let since 2001.
We enjoy an outdoor lifestyle on the beautiful Lizard peninsula. We make the most of the wild rugged costal path walks..the lovely unspoilt beaches. Mike particularly enjoys exploring the remote coves on his Kayak and the occasional fishing trip.
We have many guests returning to Mount Earl and we have made lots of good friends over the years.

Why they chose this property
We immediately fell in love with the cottage and its location in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the costal path and sea.
What makes this property unique
Mount Earl is situated a quarter of a mile from the nearest public lane, offering a high degree of privacy and seclusion.Set within 32 acres of private woodland/heath nature lovers can enjoy the unusual flora and fauna.
Recently, the woodland has revealed the ruins of an ancient mill close to the pretty Downas stream. It is only a 20 minute rugged walk to an unspoilt secluded cove where seals and basking sharks have been spotted. The south west coast path is close by, incorporating the breathtaking vantage point of Black Head and far reaching views towards England's most southerly point.
The pretty fishing village of Coverack is approx. 2 miles away, where there is a lovely sandy beach, village shops, cafes and pub serving local seafood.
