Wonderful Tuscan farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside

Portion of a restored farmhouse located in a small hamlet at the end of a century-old cypress tree lined avenue, about one km from the delightful medieval village of Colle Val d'Elsa, but in open countryside, overlooking the famous towers of San Gimignano from the windows. garden with built-in barbecue and space for outdoor dining.
The apartment has a magnificent kitchen, relaxation area and two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and wooden ceiling beams and old parquet floors, ideal for your holidays.
The linen is not included in the rental price and can be rented on request on site at a price of 15 euros per person. Heating, if used and in the periods of the year in which it is allowed to use it by law, has a cost of 1.50 euro per cubic meter.

Aufenthalt Landhaus

Wunderschöne Gegend und zentraler Ausgangspunkt. Blick vom Bad auf San Gimignano. Sehr nahe zur Altstadt Cole di Val d‘Elsa. Absolut sehenswert und empfehlenswert. Super für Besichtigungen und Rundfahrten durch die Toskana. Zufahrt ist etwas staubig.

Geschmackvolle Doppelhaushälfte in bester Lage

Es handelt sich um eine insgesamt saubere und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Doppelhaushälfte auf einer Anhöhe mit kleinem Garten. Das Doppelhaus ist an ein größeres altes Gutshaus angebaut, das von mehreren Parteien bewohnt wird. Dass es sich um eine Haushälfte handelt, hätte deutlicher gemacht sein können, ebenso, dass es sich um die nördliche Haushälfte handelt. Im Sommer ist dies wahrscheinlich eher angenehm, im März war es jedoch trotz Sonne im Haus zu kalt und die Terrasse im Schatten. Gasverbrauch über einen bestimmten Wert wird mit 3 EUR pro cbm berechnet. Die Betten waren in Ordnung, die Matratzen neu. Die Federung der Doppelbetten sorgt leider dafür, dass es stark schaukelt, wenn sich ein Schlafender umdreht. Die Miete der Bettwäsche hätte 20 EUR pro Person gekostet. Unklar war, ob Handtücher inklusive oder nur bei der Miete der Bettwäsche dabei sind. Wir haben auf Nachfrage 2 Duschtücher kostenlos geliehen bekommen und Bettwäsche mitgebracht. Die Küche war eher sparsam eingerichtet. Bei den Töpfen fehlten die Deckel, einen Topf mittlerer Größe gab es gar nicht, dafür viele Bratpfannen. Der Backofen war defekt. Die Mikrowelle mit Grillfunktion konnte dies nur begrenzt ersetzen. Außer etwas Öl, Küchenpapier, einem Schwamm und ein paar Kapseln für die kleine Espresso-Maschine war nichts vorhanden. Müll muss getrennt und selbst im Ort entsorgt werden. Mülltrennung ist im Haus schwierig (fehlende Behälter). Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist die Lage ideal!

Die Lage in Colle Val dElsa ist super um die Zentraltoskana zu erkunden. Kurze Entfernung zu Siena, Florenz, Volterra...... Die Altstadt hat sehr viel Flair und tolle Restaurants. Die Doppelhaushälfte liegt etwas außerhalb, aber das hat uns gut gefallen. Die Ausstattung ist gut, leider sind die Stühle draußen und im Esszimmer unbequem, es fehlen Kissen. Die Küche könnte besser ausgestattet sein, es sind wenige Gläser, Frühstücktassen-und Teller vorhanden.Man sollte Lappen, Putzlappen, Küchenhandtücher, Spülmittel, Toilettenpapier mitbringen. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig, was uns Abends und Nachts störte. Wir haben extra eine Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern gebucht, leider war die Vermieterin nicht bereit beide Betten mit Bettwäsche zu überziehen. Sie forderte uns auf die Bettwäsche für das 2 .Bett zu kaufen..... Oberflächlich war die Sauberkeit gut. Ansonsten hat die Übergabe des Schlüssels und die Kommunikation sehr gut geklappt.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in günstiger Lage

Sehr empfehlenswert - ein schönes geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in einem kleinen Weiler in fußläufiger Entfernung von Colle di Val D'Elsa. Mit dem Auto sind viele Ziele - Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florenz - gut erreichbar. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön für Mahlzeiten im Freien. Es war nur - wie überall - sehr heiss. Aber da waren die Fensterläden praktisch und es gibt Ventilatoren. In Colle gibt es schöne Restaurants und Bademöglichkeiten am Fluss Elsa mit Wasserfall. Ganz lieben Dank an Ginia und ihren Vater, die uns in einer Notsituation großartig unterstützt haben!!

sehr schöne Unterkunft

sehr schön gelegener ehemalige Bauernhof it geschmackvoll eingerichteter Wohnung; Garten mit schattiger Laube inkl. Tisch, Stühlen, Liegestühlen und Barbecue. Vom Schlafzimmerstockwerk Blick auf die Türme von San Gimignano; wir haben uns in dieser von Natur umgebenen großzügigen Wohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Anmerkung: die nächste Kaffeebar ist 15 min zu Fuss in gemächlichem Tempo entfernt, also gut machbar :-)

Increíble lugar para disfrutar Toscana!

La casa es maravillosa! Está ubicada en un lugar súper tranquilo y lindo, fácil de llegar (en auto!), cerca de Sangi y otras ciudades. Hay vecinos alrededor pero no se escuchan y no se ven, estas casi solo con naturaleza y rodeado por campos de amapolas! La casa es preciosa, bien decorada, amplia, con muchas detalles que te hacen sentir como en tu casa. La dueña es un amor :) El único detalle y recomendación: no hay nada ni de limpieza ni de alimentos básicos (ni había ni sal, ni trapos de cosina, ni jabón, ni paños de papel, ni nadaaaa). Y cuando estas de vacaciones y arriendas casa para unos días nunca piensas que tenes que comprar lavavajillas y sal (que se vende por kilo!) y toallas de papel... y después dejar todo porque no lo gastaste obviamente todo. Pero eso es único “pero”. El resto todo perfecto! Estamos feliz que elegimos esta casa como lugar para alojarse para nuestro casamiento 👰🏼

Maison propre

La maison est propre et très agréable, il y a tout le confort moderne. Nos hôtes ont toujours été disponibles pour répondre à nos questions. Seul petit bémol, j'ai trouvé le chauffage un peu cher (25 euros pour 7 jours), mais peut-être que les prix en Italie sont plus élevés qu'en France? Si vous voulez rayonner dans toute la Toscane, je recommande cette maison!

Paradise in the countryside

We so enjoyed our stay! The house is incredible- built like a fortress with the charm of a farmhouse. It was so comfortable to spend time in after our days of touring the Tuscan countryside. It’s well located to anywhere you might want to explore It would have been great to light the fireplace during the chilly evening but we were unable to find wood to purchase anywhere. We would love to come back on day!!

Great house, no refund back

House is great, no doubt. On arrival we had to pay the refund in cash. No reaction what so ever from owners on our requests for a pay back. To bad ! Also they should write on their home away page that you have to pay extra for linnen.

Non è il luogo adatto per fare polemiche inutili sulla restituzione della cauzione (che non chiediamo quasi mai). Voglio però sottolineare che non è vero quanto scritto dal nostro ospite perche nella sezione "Tasse" e nelle "Note"su home away c'è scritto che la biancheria ha un costo extra (e quindi non è compresa) come pure il costo del riscaldamento (per chi lo usa nei periodi invernali).

Beautiful Farmhouse

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the location. I would stay here again. Gina was awesome! She was super sweet and was great at getting back to us quickly if we had a question or problem. The only improvement would be to include sheets and towels as part of the rental or mention that they are not included during the booking process. Again minor detail great place to stay.

Great spot as central location while traveling Italy

My wife and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon.The villa was beautiful inside and out! We used it as a central location for visiting several cities in Italy and it's location was perfect for this way of seeing the country. Sadly we were unaware that the building is shared (although you never see the other family), which wouldn't of been a problem if the walls in between weren't paper thin. We could hear everything from conversations to coughing through the wall, which didn't go well with the days we decided we wanted to sleep in. Gina was awesome! She was super sweet and was great at getting back to us quickly if we had a question or problem. She even did a wine tasting for us in the Villa which was superb!

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette magnifique ferme toscane. La maison est chaleureuse et cosy. Elle est très bien entretenue. L'accueil a été également très sympathique et chaleureux. La vue sur les collines toscanes et sur les tours de San Gimignano est imprenable. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Das Haus war sehr schön. Für uns als 4köpfige Familie war es perfekt. Die Betten sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig (sehr weich und haben bei jeder Drehung sehr gefedert) Das Wasser ist sehr kalkhaltig, was man an den Töpfen und Geschirr sehen konnte. Wir haben dann trotz Geschirrspüler lieber mit der Hand gespült, da es sonst noch schlimmer aussah.

Quaint semi-detached Tuscan farmhouse

The farmhouse is located about 1 kilometre outside of town so a brisk 10 minute walk will get you to a great cup of esspresso and a fresh pastry. The town is centrally located with easy access to Firenze, Siena, etc. It was a great place to base our Tuscan travels from. Don't let the outdoor photos deceive you. The farmhouse is attached to another house occupied by noisy residents. The site of the farmhouse is actually a site for at least 6 other residences. One resident on-site but not attached had barking dogs. That was annoying. The interior pictures were exactly as we found it; however, the beds are old and lumpy. Beware of visitIng in mid to late September because there is no heat til October 1.

Our guest might have imagined a villa sourrounded by a park..instead of a portion of a farmhouse as well specified in the description of our advertisement.The double beds are new as well as latex matresses. Then there are two single beds that are certainly uncomfortable for adults but our guest had booked for two persons and not for six adults!!!( at the end the guests were 6 adults!!). About the heating, in our municipality is forbidden to turn on the heating in September..anyway during September we have 25 degrees of temperature. We are disappointed of our guest review.

La casa es fantástica y hemos estado muy agusto durante 15 dias

La situación de la casa para visitar la toscana central es inmejorable. La única pega es que no tuvimos Internet aunque lo preguntamos antes de la contratación y nos confirmaron que la casa disponía de Internet. Por lo demás nos hemos sentido muy agusto en la casa, muy bien decorada y funcional.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette adorable maison joliment décorée, bien équipée, très agréable avec un petit jardin très mignon. La situation est très intéressante : à Colle di Val d'Elsa mais dans la campagne, non loin de San Gimignano et proche de Sienne. Parfait pour multiplier les visites de cette belle région qu'est la Toscane et profiter du calme de la maison.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette charmante petite maison. Très bien équipée et très bien placée pour visiter Sienne, Florence et tous les petits villages toscans. Tout était parfait. On reviendra. Une suggestion....installer la climatisation serait un vrai plus !

Definitely a Wonderful Tuscan Farmhouse

My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights during our honeymoon and to put it quite simply this place was everything we wanted in our dreams of a Tuscan getaway. Located just outaide the wonderful town of Colle Val d'Elsa its had everything we needed to entertain ourselves with the exploits of our daily adventures. Everything that Tuscany has to offer is all within a short drive. The villa was very clean and everything we could ever need was there. We definitely recommend staying here
