About this property
Alpine Meadows Mineral Springs Haven
A great deal of Tahoe's appeal is the rustic charm of mountain life, which you'll find easily at this large Alpine Meadows home. Complete with five bedrooms and three bathrooms this three-story home overlooks Bear Creek and has views of the surrounding mountains.
Enjoy the charm of its exposed beams and brick in the great room and open kitchen, the wood-burning stove a cozy mountain décor.
An excellent choice for a large group or family, it's even dog-friendly, so don't leave Fido at home! The game room also comes equipped with an additional kitchenette for convenient entertaining and lounging.
In a quiet part of town, relax outside, grill under the stars, or enjoy a hot toddy while relaxing on the bench seating overlooking Bear Creek. For those looking to hike nearby, the house is approximately three blocks from the trailhead to the Five Lakes Trail. There is boundless room to explore from this comfy hub in Alpine Meadows! In the winter months, enjoy the close proximity to Palisades Tahoe!
Security cameras For peace of mind, we have a couple of friendly, outdoor-only security cameras keeping an eye on the front entry and driveway. They’re here for safety, not spying. They do not face any private spaces, and there are no indoor cameras. Think of them as the neighborhood watch with better lighting ~ Thank you.

Love the cabin! The only thing was, I wish the fact there was no hot tub was a little clearer, and also the checkout time of 10 AM. It was way too early. At least we did not have to clean extensively before checking out, which made it a little easier to get out at such an early time.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re so glad you loved the cabin! We appreciate your note about making the lack of a hot tub clearer and will review how that information is presented.
We completely understand that 10:00 a.m. can feel early, especially when it’s always a little sad to say goodbye to a great Tahoe getaway. It is the industry-standard checkout time and gives our housekeeping and inspection teams the time they need to fully prepare the property for the next guests arriving at 4:00 p.m. Vacation math is tough: nobody wants to leave at 10:00, but everyone is very excited to get in at 4:00!
We’re glad our limited checkout requirements helped make your departure a little easier, and we hope to welcome you back for another stay.
All the best,
Jenny W.

The cabin is big and is plenty of room for a big family, extra towels and pillows, the only thing that I didn’t like were the beds are uncomfortable. But location is great, nice view three bathrooms which is great if you are traveling with children.
We loved this property. The location was great, close to Truckee in one direction and the lake in the other. It was quiet and you can hear the creek behind the house. It also has a great deck for hanging out and a downstairs bonus rec room (the house is so spacious we didn’t even use the bonus room). Very clean, good amenities. Cell service was spotty but WiFi was great. Check in was easy and the property managers were very responsive and nice to work with. We would stay here again!

Thank you so much for this kind review. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. :)
Rustic cabin with all the comforts of home. We stayed here with 6 adults/4 kids and had plenty of space for everyone. The cabin had many upgrades not seen in the photos. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful new deck which was where we spent most of our time. The cabin came stocked with games for adults and kids. The location was perfect for us. We were close to zip lining and able to walk to a nearby trail. We would love to come back to this cabin!

Reviewer Comments:
We had a wonderful time staying at this home in Alpine Meadows. With 5 guests we were able to spread out and all have our own room. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio and used the grill one night to make dinner. Another bonus is that there is a trailhead to the five lakes trail 3 blocks from the house. Overall, we had an excellent time staying in this home. Please note, if you do book this property to make sure that you disarm the electric bear protection on the doors and windows. We thought it was off but it wasn't and one of our guests got a nasty shock.

Reviewer Comments:
We had a great time at the cabin. From the outside the initial experience is the cabin is a bit rustic but the inside has been updated (at least the kitchen and bathrooms). The downstairs room wasn't as usual to our group since we had 5 kids under 5 and the stairs were a bit hairy. A group with older kids would have more use of the downstairs play room and the twin beds room upstairs. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and the location of the house.

Reviewer Comments:
This rental was a rustic cabin that matched the on-line photos, housing 10 comfortably. The location was very quiet and peaceful, close to Tahoe City and Squaw Valley. What the photos do not show is a very steep 2 story or more decline from the limited street level parking, making it a challenge to transport goods in/out of the rental as well as navigating the steps which could be very difficult in the winter/snow season. The property needs some minor repairs. There is no yard access, only outside deck with bench seating.
