Burke's Place is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, cabin that sleeps up to 6 guests. This home is in a quiet, secluded location on the south side of the Merced River. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for cooking and dining. The living room has a fireplace (wood provided in season) and in-room heating and A/C, satellite TV, and WiFi. There are two decks, one is the entrance to the home, and the other is very private and only accessible from inside the house. The private deck has a gas BBQ, 4 chairs, 3 small tables, and a picnic table & chairs - perfect for outdoor relaxing, grilling, and dining. This home is * pet-friendly. In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of awe-inspiring.
During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the south fork of the Merced River & cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Visit the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Enjoy fine dining and play golf at the historic Big Trees Lodge (formerly The Wawona Hotel), go horseback riding, fishing, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center/Pioneer Village.
