Croyde Studio Apartment is situated with Trimstone Manor Country House. The Manor is tucked down a peaceful, rural Devon Lane and offers you a truly safe and secluded holiday. You'll only be sharing the grounds and facilities with our other guests, you won't spot our nearest neighbours from the Manor gardens. Why not wander to find a picnic table with uninterrupted views of the Devon countryside?

There is an en-suite bathroom is a shower over the bath.

Whatever the weather there is always something to do at Trimstone. Guests are welcome to share use of the games room, tennis court, indoor heated swimming pool (available in season from April until October), sauna, walk in the grounds or simply relax in a quite spot with a drink and a good book. Guests staying in the cottages are most welcome to use the Hotel Bar and make Restaurant reservations for breakfast any morning and evening meals on Friday and Saturday nights.

Our communal areas and gardens are packed with unique features, such as our heritage water wheel, streams, pond as well as peacocks roaming the grounds.

Access to the Hotel and Self Catering Cottages is via a leafy Devon Lane - just take it slowly if you're used to motorways.

A car is recommended to visit all that North Devon has to offer but you can reach us easily by public transport with buses stopping at the top of our lane. Parking for one car provided. With prior arrangement, additional parking can be made available in our overflow car park just up the lane.

We are Philip and Helen and we have a wonderful Country House Hotel set in the beautiful rolling countryside of North Devon, England, called Trimstone Manor. Adjoining our hotel we also offer various self-catering accommodation, ranging from studios sleeping 2 to cottages sleeping 8! We live in part of the hotel with our grown up family and manage with a close knit team.

Why they chose this property

Trimstone Manor is the ideal location for a real family holiday. With the indoor pool (in season), games room, gym and sauna, not forgetting the trampoline in the paddock and loads of space for the children to play, you'll have fun and relax whatever the weather. We are so well placed for all North Devon has to offer whilst being in an isolated and unspoilt location.

What makes this property unique

Trimstone is a rural wonderland – bring walking boots or wellies and romp through our fields, or venture further afield. We are located within minutes of secluded coves and many fine sandy beaches such as Woolacombe, Croyde, Putsborough and Saunton whilst having the convenience of being half a mile from the A361 (you'd never know it from our rural gardens!). Close by is the North Devon section of the South West Coastal Path and the Tarka Trail - over 30 miles of road-free walking and cycling through the heart of North Devon. Exmoor National Park is a few miles away and well worth a visit; with its gorgeous rolling valleys and oak woodland, it's the perfect place to walk whether you're a keen hiker or just want a gentle stroll.
