We’re pleased to welcome you to a 300-year-old stone barn on the Podere Sant’Angelo estate, set 700 metres high in the peaceful hills of the Maremma, southern Tuscany.
Where once wine, cheese and grain were stored, today you’ll find our romantic holiday rental “Zolferate.” With its 50 square metres, a double bedroom, a fold-out armchair for one more guest and a living area with a sofa bed, it’s perfect for couples or small families.
Zolferate has a traditional Tuscan interior with high ceilings, chestnut beams and a fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. In the living room, there’s a well-equipped kitchen corner with everything you need to prepare simple Tuscan meals.
Zolferate is the most private of our three holiday rentals – a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. The private garden is equipped with sun loungers, the ideal place to relax, read, or enjoy a quiet afternoon in the sun.
Podere Sant’Angelo is a haven for couples who love nature, tranquillity and the outdoors. From the estate, you can set out on beautiful walks through the surrounding hills, or discover the area by e-bike (available for hire in nearby Roccalbegna).
After sunset, the Milky Way stretches across the night sky above the property – a mesmerising sight, far from artificial light.
Podere Sant’Angelo stands out for its peaceful location, sweeping views, colourful sunsets and lovingly maintained Mediterranean garden filled with lavender, rosemary and old roses.
