Convenient apartment close to Marina

The property was in a convenient location and acceptable for our week away. The wifi and TV were good, the property was clean on our arrival, just a little dated and tired in places but overall for the price we paid we can't really complain.

Excellent stay - we can’t wait to come back

We had a beautiful stay at this perfectly located apartment. It’s situated at the Marina Rubicón with plenty of amenities nearby including an excellent choice of restaurants and bars. The town of Playa Blanca is just a short 20 minute stroll along the promenade. The landlord was so easy to deal with and we felt right at home from the day we arrived. We’re already looking forward to going back again in the not too distant future.

Superb holiday apartment

Everything you need for your stay and very clean. Great little private patio area which gets the sun most of the afternoon. Small pool area to the side of the apartment which we had to ourselves for 2 weeks. Great location, 5 mins walk to a small shopping centre with supermarket. 7 mins walk to the marina which has several restaurants and bars.

Lovely apartment!

Loved staying here. Good accommodation,plenty of space and well equipped. Husband especially loved having the sports channels on tv. Was able to watch all the football games as well as golf and horse racing!.

Fabulous and a very nice apartment and pool mostly to yourself and excellent location right by marina. Comfy beds. Towels provided. Good kitchen appliances. Could benefit from aircon and longer lasting hot water for shower. Other than that perfect and has everything you could need. Very good communication from the owner too!!

Apartment is in a great location, 5-10 minutes to marina rubicon. Spacious apartment, with just about everything you need. Brian is a great owner who answered any query we had really quickly. Shower was a bit temperamental and a couple of things needed a bit of TLC otherwise a great stay. Pool cold but nice once you’re in and most of the time had it to ourselves.

Wonderful vacation

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for dining out and grabbing essentials. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, allowing us to prepare meals whenever we wanted. The owner of the apartment was extremely friendly and helpful.

Fantastic stay

Stayed here for 4 weeks In July and August and had a great stay. The apparent felt like a home from home. It had everything you need for a great stay and was very clean and spacious. Has a private terrace which is great for sitting for sitting outside and letting the kids play as it is completely secure. The pool area is just through the gate and although it is a communal pool it was basically a private pool as it was really quiet. Brian the host was super helpful with any questions we had and everything went very smoothly. We all loved our stay and hope to return again soon.

Great place.

My family stayed there almost two weeks and we enjoyed the apartment a lot. The place is equiped with everything what you need and even more. Parking spot available. Fast internet. And what really touched us - a welcome package in a refrigerator. The location is good enough to walk to marina or drive to Papagayo beaches very easily. I really recommend this accomodation.

100% Perfect Stay

Apartment is a good standard and has everything you need for cooking, laundry and the tv package covers all the English TV you would want, 5 minutes walk to the Rubicon Marina with supermarket, bars and restaurants, its a 20 minute walk to the main town although a bus runs every 30mins and is a 2 minute walk to the bus stop,, we did have an issue with the pool but this was sorted within 30 minutes of contacting the owner.

Lovely apartment , 5 minute walk from the recently finished Lasal area , which has great restaurants , bars and shops , and also the Rubicón marina which is superb . The apartment is comfortable , well equipped and has a nice size communal pool .There is no aircon , but the fans supplied kept us cool enough . Brian , the host , is excellent with his communication . We had a problem with a water leak half way through our stay , and after a few messsages with Brian , he managed to get a plumber out within a few hours and make the neccessary repairs . Would not hesitate returning to this property

Enjoyable stay

Enjoyed our stay in this spacious accomodation. The kitchen had everything you would need to self cater if you wish. TV and wifi good. Bedrooms had plenty of storage . Plenty of hot water for showers etc. Outside area was spacious and private. Due to a high wall and property next door, we got the sun for part of the day. Didn't use the pool so cannot comment on that. Upon arrival the kettle didn't work, contacted the owner who arranged for a replacement the same day.

Well equipped apartment, good location

Very clean, well equipped apartment, plenty of room for 4, there is a small pool just outside the apartment with sun lounges, located near the Rubicon Marina, with a selection of shops and restaurants , also easy to walk into Playa Blanca along the wide promenade, Brian the host is very responsive and was fantastic at sorting out a small issue we had with the Wi-Fi connection, would recommend the apartment to anyone wanting wanting a quiet location but with easy access to shops and restaurants. There is a big s route (30) that runs along the avenue which picks up and drops off closer se to the apartment, there is also parking available should you wish to hire a car.

Everything was clean and good, well equipped large kitchen. Nice seating area outside with sun in the afternoons. Need to take your own shower gel, shampoo & washing machine tablets. Ok quality bedding but towels are very thin. Pool area very sparse and water so cold it wasn’t used by us or anyone else in the week we were there. Great position to be near Marina Rubicon and all its great restaurants. Supermarket only 5 mins walk.

Was very disappointed with this place , the only good thing about it was the bed was comfortable , it needs a good clean it’s very dated fridge had been repaired with cello tape , water pressure in shower poor , but in a good location close to the marina.

Carol, So sorry to read such a poor review particularly when you emailed to say everything was fine! You stayed in the apartment for 6 weeks with the cleaners attending weekly. If you had reported any issues to them or myself then appropriate action could have been taken. The apartment is well equipped and modern appliances are working perfectly including the fridge although the maintenance company have reported a loose doorshelf. Glad you found the bed comfortable and appreciated the location of the apartment.

Spacious and well presented and clean. Lots of extras such as a bike and a body board!

Well situated, 5 minute walk from marina with all its restaurants and music. 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from Papagaya beaches, loads to do locally such as kayaking, snorkelling, walking etc. Everything thoughtfully provided in the apartment, wine, milk, bread etc so no need to rush to shops (also 5 minute walk) on arrival. Lovely garden area and a selection of games and toys, a bike and a body board for kids, outside dining and two sunbeds for the less active. Quiet area despite being close to marina, lovely mountain views. Communal pool just outside, occasionally and briefly used by others. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would love to return.

Great base for exploring

We had a great week. Very traditional 2 bed apartment with a small pool that is communal but feels like yours. We used the beech every day and had a dip when we got back. Kitchen was fab and large with all mod cons. Also the beds and bedroom very spacious. Will come back again.

This was a very nice apartment, and had all the home comforts you could ask for, kitchen equipment, hairdryer etc. Easy walking distance to Marina Rubicon. Outside Terrace has sunshine for a few hours in the afternoon, (February ) but the pool area is just outside a gate if you want all day sunshine. A welcome pack was provided with all the 1st day essentials which was a very nice touch. We were lucky as nobody was in the apartment above and we had the pool area to ourselves. Would definitely stay at this apartment again
