Highly recommend booking your stay at the Red Barn. It is perfect for a 3 night stay. It’s a great location just out of town. Very quiet and cozy. We were able to visit the Biltmore, hike a little on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Visit some breweries and run a New Years Day 5K
This cabin was well-kept and very cozy. Remote but not too far away from anything. The check-in and check-out process was easy. The hosts made our responsibilities for check out very clear. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vacation getaway.
Lee and I had an enjoyable/romantic/cozy stay at the Red Barn. It was quiet and private. The evening fires in the pit outdoors was a charming end to our evenings. I love to cook and the kitchen was very accommodating. When we return I will try to book this place again!

Cabin had all the amenities we needed for a quiet weekend getaway. The kitchen had all the tools and the movie collection was eclectic. It took a while for the cabin to warm up, but once it did it stayed comfortable
This was the perfect place to spend our 34th anniversary. Away from the city but still close enough to only take 10-15 minutes to activities. Serene and peaceful!
This was a great cabin for my husband and I to stay at for a quick few days getaway. The bed was very comfortable, as was the rest of the furniture we used. This cabin is definitely optimal for two people based on size and seating areas. Nice view outside, heavily wooded area with lots of privacy on the porch. The routes in and out are somewhat steep, our SUV engaged traction control on the gravel path coming in, I would NOT try a car on the path.
Property location was really pretty but definitely need 4-wheel drive to get up the steep gravel drive. Cabin was very small, but sufficed. Bathroom was very claustrophobic, and the hot water tank must have been very small so we had a few issues finding the right temp for our showers and ended up with ice cold showers a few times. Overall, the cabin sufficed since we were only there to sleep, but I’d probably not stay here again. More personal preference than anything.

Not so good property management. They promised service and inclusions they not only did not adequately represent but failed to follow through to repair the mismanagement. They promised to include a ticket to a venue which was hidden in the website (if it was indeed there since the access to the website was locked afterwards) and they refused to address the inability to find the ticket over the week-end when called and later refused to honor after the check out. That is either "bait and switch" or bad faith that was not meant from the beginning.
Very cute cabin, perfect size for 2. Well-stocked with anything we might need. The front porch was lovely. I gave the location 4 stars instead of 5 only because there is a lot of construction going on nearby, so it was noisy during the day. It was not a problem in the evenings. We would stay there again.
My husband and I decided a trip to the mountains was in order and chose Red Barn as our property to rent. It was exactly as the pictures showed; it was quiet; it was quaint and it was cozy. It was the right distance away from the hustle and bustle of the city and it was not a bad drive to wherever we wanted to go.
The road and hill leading to the cabin was just as described, but we didn’t have any issues at all. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay and we recommend the Red Barn highly!
Nice quiet getaway for two. Definitely would want an AWD or 4WD to get in. Cabin was nice and cozy. Check in was very easy. Has everything we needed. The neighborhood that you have to drive through to get there would be a deterrent but once you get past that and up to the cabin it’s nice and secluded. Totally enjoyed our last minute getaway. Thank you.
Very nice and comfortable for 2. Just make sure you have an AWD or 4WD. The path to the cabin is fairly steep and probably a little slick if it’s been raining.
My sister and I had a great stay at the Red Barn cabin! The location is quiet and beautiful, and easy to locate as the route is well marked. The cabin was cozy and well appointed, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils and it was spotless. The location was perfect for relaxing amid the gorgeous fall foliage, and it was just a short drive to shopping, restaurants and the Biltmore estate. Highly recommend!
I booked this cabin as a last minute surprise trip for my wife. The cabin was very clean and had the perfect amount of space for two people. We had a wonderful time
