Good space for six people and a dog. We enjoyed meals on the deck. Close bike or drive to town, Shining Sea Bike Path, and beaches. Quiet neighborhood.
Perfect backyard for morning coffee, dinner and evening hangouts on the deck or by the fire pit. Walking distance to Main St shops and restaurants and easy access to the rest of the Cape and MV by car, and the bike path is just a couple blocks away. Cozy kitchen and family room for relaxing and games. Home had everything we needed, and owner is very responsive. Highly recommend
We booked in January 2022 for two weeks at the end of August 2022. We arrived to a cute house, great location and yard, but with moldy AC units and a spider problem.
We quickly discovered that while the house looked clean at first look, but there were huge spider cobwebs and numerous very large spiders throughout the house . It was clear that corners had been cut with cleaning through the summer and beyond. We contacted Bob, he was responsive but didn't take enough action to fully resolve either issue.

We agree with the guest that the house is great, in a very good location, and has a great yard. At the first mention of cobwebs etc, during the second week, we sent our handyman in the next day at their convenience, to eliminate the problem. We had already delivered new batteries for the remotes during the first week.
The guest implied that a refund would "help" with a bad review. Obviously, we did not take that option.
While we expect normal wear and tear on furnishings, the almost complete delamination of a vinyl chair, by the guest's party, was a surprise. Bob
We loved our time in the cottage, and every day we discovered more things to enjoy. Early morning coffee with the birds and the breeze on the back deck, board games, tons of books, and a big tv for rainy days, neighborhood walks to multiple parks, playgrounds, and the library, and even a nature trail that ends within sight of the best bakery on the cape! The street the cottage is on is a little busy, but we didn’t find it bothersome. It was never too busy to get out of the driveway in a timely manner. One block over is a very quiet neighborhood that was the perfect setting for family strolls and jogs. The lush trees behind the back yard were full of wildlife. We saw bunnies, hummingbirds, goldfinches, and even a couple of bats, who helpfully ate so many mosquitoes we were very rarely bothered by bug bites. We even heard a screech owl one night! The kitchen has impeccable vintage vibes, and I’m seriously in love with the cast iron enamel sink, with a view into the trees. There were plenty of sheets, towels, and blankets, and the art and antiques everywhere in the house made it very homey and charming. It’s full of personality, and we left the place feeling a lot of affection for it! The owner was very prompt and helpful with all communications, and we felt like we were in good hands.
We loved Bobs house! It’s the perfect location and great for kids! We loved walking to town and to the beach, taking outdoor showers and eating dinner on the back deck. The house was clean and Bob is awesome. The house has everything you need, and we felt right at home. I forgot to bring a book, but Bobs selection of great books had me covered! I highly recommend this house!
Bob was great- very responsive. Inside was super cute and clean. Nicer than we expected. Location was good - walkable to town and easy bike ride to beach and bike trail. Loved the vintage feeling and fixtures. Would have enjoyed the nice private yard more without the mosquitoes LOL!
The aspect of this property that most appealed to us was location. We spent a week with our 2 kids and everyone was happy. 5 min drive to Goodwill Park and swimming in Grew's Pond. Local fishing and a 5 min drive to the shoreline. Also within walking distance to Falmouth Center and lots of shopping nearby. The traffic in front of the house during the day is a little noisy and cars drive fast. With the front windows closed, however, noise was not a problem. The neighborhood was also quiet in the evening. The house itself is in good condition and tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Nice back deck that we used quite a bit. We appreciated that a new grill had been provided. Most household items were stocked. My only minor criticism is that the kitchen could use a few more utensils (like tongs). Otherwise, we were happy with the accommodations. Easy communication with the owners - very easy to deal with.
Perfect little home with everything you need to come home to after a day out and about exploring Cape Cod. Close proximity to town center which was a huge plus.
I was a little worried to book because there weren't many reviews on the property. Bob was super easy to deal with and easy to reach with any questions. This property is an ideal location in Falmouth and is close to everything. We were able to take an Uber to places that were a little far to walk but you can walk to Main Street in a few minutes. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Falmouth.

Perfect house!
The reason we rented this house was that we were allowed to only rent for 5 nights instead of the usual 7. The house was perfect for our family of 4. The house was clean with 2 full baths and an outdoor shower, comfortable beds, great location to town and within a few minutes drive to several beaches. Every room had an air conditioner if needed, nice comfy livingroom, laundry in the basement and a nice deck out back with privacy. We will definitely consider renting this house again!! Our only regret was to not meet Bob in person to tell you what a great week we had face to face.

As advertized. A very good stay.
The good condition and layout of property were accurately shown in promo photos. The owner's furnishings and decorations give the property a family feel. No cheap furnishings. The close proximity to downtown Falmouth was great for fast evening trips to the ice cream shop. The backyard deck was great for family gatherings after a busy day. The only problems: (1) basement where laundry located is clean but has a strong damp smell; (2) The kitchen oven is small, very hot to the touch, and makes the adjacent countertop very hot, so be careful with children.

Noisy road
House is on a noisy road and not within walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is old and needs to be upgraded.

Nice, clean house - great location
My family was down for the Falmouth Road Race and this was the perfect location, less than 2 miles from the finish line and .5 mile from center of town. House was wonderful, clean and spacious enough for everyone to enjoy and not be on top of each other.
Would definitely choose this house again to stay in.

A comfortable home to hang your hat!
We loved staying in Bob's home! The house is infinitely bigger than it looks from the outside and we all (2 adults and 3 teens) carved out our own little piece of privacy and comfort. The home is well thought out and has several details that we did not expect. Only a few blocks from Main Street is a big plus for the teenagers who get restless looking for things to do. The wifi was great and the cable is full on very helpful for a rainy day and lazy evenings lounging. The kitchen was well equipped and accommodated several family dinners. Having two showers was a big help. The house is so close to shopping, supermarkets, Wal-Mart and anything else you could think of needing so my worry about forgetting something I would need was unfounded. Gifford St. can get busy during "rush hour" but other than that is very quiet, especially at night. We discovered Old Silver Beach which was awesome and a picturesque drive away. Get there early or the lot gets full. Go after 3:30 and the lot is free. The water there is 2x warmer than other beaches since it's on Buzzards Bay. The bike trails are just a 5 minute ride away from the house! Most of all Bob is a great host and makes you feel at home.

Awsome & Cozy Stay
We stayed at this property a week in July. I loved this house. Though from the pictures it is hard to tell how clean the house was. But in person, I could not believed it was a decent place to stay. So pictures do not say enough. I would not judge from the pictures. It had everything I need. The house was clean when I came in. The house was a good fit for my family to stay. The bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen had most the things I need. The owner was EXCELLENT!! Good communication and responded my request promptly. I would recommend travelers to stay at this property. I would come back again soon. Bob-you were great!! Thanks for everything. I will email you or text you for my next stay.
