Great apartment in the same promenade to the beach san cristobal, located 10 meters from the beach and right in the center of the town, is just a few meters from the tourist office and within walking distance of attractions such as the majuelo park, park sexi parrot, aquarium, historic city center, Moorish castle, etc ... Almuñecar is a lovely village of the Granada coast and is a 50-minute drive from cities like Granada and Malaga, The apartment has a terrace where you eat while watching the sea, a large living room, large kitchen and three bedrooms and bathroom and toilet, is fully equipped and surrounded by bars and entertainment venues, also has supermarkets and shops nearby, the rooms have sea views, an ideal place to enjoy a good holiday.

Het appartement was ruim maar gedateerd. Zowel het interieur als de voorzieningen waren oud. Het fornuis/ oven en wasmachine waren vuil. Deze hebben we eerst zelf grondig gereinigd. Ook de afvoeren van badkamer waren vuil en stonken, ondanks dat we daar zelf reiniger in gedaan hadden. Het hele appartement zou een opknapbeurt moeten krijgen voor een volgende huurder. Ook bleek de elektrische bedrading op enkele plekken te zijn doorgebrand waardoor er enkele malen kortsluiting ontstond. Maar we begrepen dat het te koop staat. Wel moet gezegd dat de verhuurder snel reageert op onze vragen en herstelacties in gang zet.

Just as advertised. Across the street from the beach (very rocky), and beach view from balcony.. Supermarket around the corner. Brush up on your Spanish to communicate with the host. Great place for 5 of us for 6 nights. Second room with twin beds is on the tight side. Go into the upper town for more authentic Spanish food and tapas bars..

Winter in the Sun
We arrived in Almunecar on Christmas Eve about 6pm, Enrique had sent us instructions to collect the keys, his instructions were very clear and concise. The apartment is as described, the rooms are all of an excellent size - myself, my partner and our small dog stayed for 5 1/2 weeks and we had friends / family visit us during this time - plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is separate from the living / dining area and includes an oven (not just a microwave), which is one of the main reasons for choosing Enrique's apartment, also the kitchen is very well equipped with all the dishes, cutlery, pots and pans etc you need for self catering. The beds are really comfortable and the shower has great pressure and always loads of hot water. A fantastic sunset can be viewed from the balcony every night. There is a Mercadona supermarket on the next street and only 10 minutes walk to both Lidl and Aldi. Very easy walk into town with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. I would suggest a look around the market which is held on a Friday in the big car park opposite Lidl / Aldi. As we visited during the Winter we had no problem finding a car parking space near the apartment, although I expect this would be different in the height of Summer. Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend Enrique's apartment for a stay in Almunecar.
