Private 500 Acre Mountain Paradise

Welcome! Our beautiful country home featuring 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms and a large sleeping loft. 16 beds and sleeps 26. Our brand new wrap around deck overlooks fields, a beautiful lake, a spring fed pond and a meandering mountain stream. We have an open kitchen ideal for entertaining with Starlink WiFi for reliable streaming and internet access, bluetooth speakers, great room with a large fireplace, game room with a regulation pool table and ping pong table as well as a second fireplace. Our lake is filled with Largemouth Bass, Perch and Bluegill. There are hiking trails, water features & open field views out of almost every window as well as a large outdoor fire pit for fun under the stars. Enjoy a second large deck overlooking the lake or take the whole crew up to the upper field to watch the glorious sunset. Leave all your worries behind; this is truly a place to unwind, unplug and enjoy time in the great outdoors with family & friends. Bring friends, family, mountain bikes, fishing rods, footballs, frisbees, hiking shoes, golf clubs, cameras etc and a huge sense of adventure - there is a lot of cool things to do. Weddings allowed - 60 people maximum - additional fee applies. Please Note - We Do Not Allow ATV or UTV Use on Property. Minimum Age to Rent Our Home is 25 Years Old.

We had a small wedding and reception at the house and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The property and house got many compliments from our guests. We truly had the best time here and plan to return again. Such beautiful memories we made here!

Perfect secluded getaway!

Our stay at Michael and Josh's place was everything we wanted it to be and more. The check-in process was very easy, the property had everything we needed, and Josh and Michael were very responsive throughout our entire stay. Everyone in our group had a great time walking around the woods, relaxing next to the fire, and playing outside. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a private, spacious, cozy, nature-filled getaway.

Great retreat

Our Christian men’s group really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and very peaceful. It was a chance for us to play some relaxing activities, enjoy a nice cracking fire under the moon, and explore the property and the wildlife.

Absolutely beautiful

We gathered as a family for a winter birthday weekend and couldn’t have asked for a more magical spot - the home was cozy and had everything (and more) that we needed, the hosts were gracious and extremely accessible. Plenty of dry firewood for some great fires. We hiked the many snowy trails and burned off our s’more calories. It was quiet and lovely and the kids had a great time sledding.

Great place for a big group

We stayed here for a family wedding in Berlin with 6 families from all over the country and kids from 10 and up. What a find! Such an interesting and beautiful property- perfect for us. So well stocked and open floor plan was great for a large group. Very clean and great communication with property owners/managers. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!

Great group getaway

The house and property exceeded our expectations. The house was very unique with a lot of space and was very comfortable for everyone in our group. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and serving supplies. The property is so peaceful and had more than enough space for all of us to explore including floating in the pool, walking around the lake and having an awesome bonfire under all the stars. Definitely recommend to others!

A wonderful peaceful setting

Our extended family of 8 had a terrific time at this beautiful cabin setting. The cabin was well stocked for lots of taking turns cooking (even the kids cooked this year!). The best part of the week was the setting - absolutely private! The only human noises were one we made when we squealed in delight while plunging in the pond or pulling out a largemouth bass! We would definitely consider coming back.

“Mountain Paradise” lives up to its name in every way!

This was truly one of the greatest properties our group has ever stayed at in our lives. The Wolff’s home is so remote, you can’t hear anything but the sweet sounds of nature all around you. We enjoyed canoeing, swimming, hiking, lawn games, bonfires, and slow mornings with coffee on the deck. The house has plenty of room for large groups to spread out and the lack of AC was not an issue at all, even in late August. Everything in the house was clean and well-stocked. Michael and Josh were fantastic hosts with excellent communication. It would be an honor to stay at their massive slice of paradise again in the future!

What a great hide away.

We went up for a few days of R&R and that's exactly what we got. This place is so secluded and peaceful. At night the stars were amazing and during the day there's a great view of fields where we saw deer and turkeys and water where we got to see Canadian geese on a stopover on their way south! The owners provide plenty of firewood and we were able to enjoy their huge fireplace all day long. The home is comfortable and the kitchen is well supplied. Sitting in the rocking chairs enjoying the view we started making plans to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and the big pond. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Can't wait to come back in the summer.

What a great get away place!

What a relaxing time! And we had amazing weather for July, you would have thought it was late September. Temps the 50/60's in the morning. The place is so green and beautiful we really enjoyed just sitting on the deck with our coffee. We saw more than a dozen deer, watched the beaver swim and just enjoyed the quiet and tranquility that this remote place offers. At night the stars were amazing! There wasn't any other ambient light and we turned off all the lights in the house and saw there in awe. The kitchen is fully stocked with any cookware we needed and the house was very clean.

Birthday Bash a success!

The location was fantastic—secluded and perfect for a peaceful weekend escape. I would rate it 4 stars overall. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the house was clean and well-stocked with all the necessary kitchen supplies for easy cooking and cleaning. However, I couldn’t give it 5 stars because the photos were a bit misleading. The rooms were smaller than expected, and two of the bathrooms were located inside bedrooms, making them less accessible for all guests. Additionally, while the seclusion is great for privacy, guests should be aware that outdoor activities like hiking trails are still quite far from the property. If visiting in the winter, keep in mind that the roads within five minutes of the house are not plowed or salted, making driving conditions dangerous. It would be helpful to clarify these details in future descriptions. Otherwise, the house is beautiful and I will book there again in the summertime if another opportunity arises.

Beautiful setting in the mountains for PA

Last month our family of 8 adults and 8 children (and a varity of dogs) gathered together for 5 magical days in the beautiful mountains of PA. We could not believe the incredible beauty of this place. It is impossible to see this from the photos on VRBO. In a word, you have to be there and experience it. We had wonderful weather and some in our party took out the canoes on the lake. We walked the trails, sat on the bridge watching the children (and dogs) play in the stream and generally let the outside world drift quietly away. This is a family place owned by brothers Josh and Michael who were always available to tend to any need we might have. They checked in by phone only and did not drop by to disturb our family time. Places like this are difficult if not impossible to find. We are hopeful to visit this special place again in the future. Don & Sylvia

40th birthday celebration

I took over a dozen friends to this place to celebrate my 40th birthday and spent 4 days here. My goal was to find a secluded place with generous lodging and amenities, and this place delivered! The house was spacious and equipped with modern amenities including high quality bluetooth speakers and an updated kitchen, but also filled with a panoply of charming and curious antique items. It was also well stocked with games (boardgames as well as pool, table tennis and karaoke). The lawn is vast and we utilized it for a bonfire, frisbee, and even set up a slip n slide. We also hung out by the nearby lake and some of us went swimming in it or just relaxed on an inflatable. Everyone in attendance was effusively complimentary of the house and grounds and kept asked where I found this gem. I highly recommend a stay here!

Birthday celebration

This was the best location yet and we’ve been renting properties through VRBO for years. The cabin was spotless! There was nothing that you needed. It was all there for you. This was by far our best trip and I can not wait to go back! We LOVED IF!
