October has open dates.. in my view one of the two most favorite months to spend at the beach.. Come sit on the deck and listen and enjoy the view of the fountain in the lake and have coffee or sip on a drink. Think about walking out the front door, crossing the street and walking on the path to the ocean sand in five or six at the most minutes. You are on vacation.

Walk in the door to this decorator designed unit and see the fountain in the lake as you walk down the hall. Walk on out to the large deck and just relax and take in the view of the lake. Perfect place for morning coffee and evening drinks!!!
And look out the front door, and directly across the street is a sign: "BEACH ACCESS" and there is the path to the waters of the mighty Atlantic Ocean.

as well as the linens hanging in the bathrooms, with connecting bath and a well-stocked kitchen. Upstairs is the second bedroom with two queen beds and private bath together with a large closet. There is an owner's closet on the ground floor and after checking whatever you want to use for its safety, it is yours to use while a guest in the unit.
There is an "outdoor grill" for your use on the concrete ground patio.

Located within the gate of the resort Litchfield by the Sea in the Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beach area. The resort has private ocean access within easy walking distance of this unit but should you have more than a few beach objects, you can drive to the Beach Club, let your guests get out with the beach toys, and you drive less than a block to park. Rest rooms, decking, chairs, walkways to the ocean are available for your use without another charge.
Golf courses are in every direction except to the east... take a stroll down the beach to the Litchfield Inn for food and drink at the grill located on the ground floor with a view and sound of the ocean-- if seated outside.

Shopping most concentrated in the Hammock Shops which is nearby on highway 17. Restaurants are plentiful with more higher end but some not so much. Will be happy to give you suggestions if you ask.
You are staying within a resort that also has a dock for the sole purpose of crabbing.. you can leave your trap with your name conspiciously located on the trap after it has been baited. In addition you can fish is the lake behind the unit and when I last checked the rule was that you had to have a license... but in 20 years I have never seen a uniformed officer checking there as contrasted to the causeway bridge at the north causeway to the island.

There is an excellent beach store for rentals of bikes, kayaks, etc as well as sale of good looking beach clothing and accessories with a pleasant staff and owners. Highly recommend your checking it out.. just north of the north causeway for the island on highway 17 going north.

Myrtle beach is about 20 miles to the north if you want to leave this idyllic spot where you are!!! And enchanting Charleston is just a little over an hour drive south on 17.
