Wonderful home and a great weekend. Mark is a terrific host, always gets back to you within minutes, not that we had any problems, just questions. I hope to enjoy this place for many more visits.
Beautiful home, Mark is an excellent host and provided everything we could need or want. The property was spotless, communication was timely and helpful. Great spaces indoors and out for relaxing, the fireplace was perfect for cool evenings. Great location for our weekend getaway.
The house is clean and in a beautiful wooded setting. Mark was responsive to our questions.

Sorry to hear that your stay was not up to par….no issues were mentioned during the stay….there are extra light bulbs at the house, but the house has many lamps and overhead lights downstairs and lamps upstairs in the bedrooms…we will be more diligent about throwing away expired condiments, but there is not too much in the fridge. The downstairs bathroom has an antique claw foot tub and pedestal sink/ meant to look like that, but I understand that it’s not for everyone…we do spray for ants during the summer season, but there can be some that get in. Thanks for letting us know of any issues that need to be tended to.
We stayed here for a few weeks and it was delightful. The interior decor was nice as were the views of the landscape/scenery off the deck. This is a great home in Clinton Corners to call your base camp while exploring nearby hiking trails, restaurants and villages. It’s up the road from the parkway yet we didn’t hear any traffic. The property host was very knowledgeable on good restaurants in the area and also had a lot of reading materials/brochures on things to do for everyone in our family, so boredom didn’t exist. We felt right at home and would definitely come back again.
This was a wonderful stay! The house is in a very convenient location off the Taconic. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and there were essentials there, like spices, coffee, and condiments. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. The home is comfortable; we unpacked, lit a fire and spent some quality family time the first night of our stay. The bedrooms are comfortable and share a bathroom. We had some warm days and were able to enjoy the deck which has a beautiful view of woods and the Catskills in the distance. Mark, the owner was responsive to communication and very easy to work with. We are looking forward to returning!

Just what we needed for a successful reunion
After contacting the owner to make sure a family reunion would be permitted, we booked the property and couldn't be happier with the result. The house sits on a wooded lot where we saw deer every morning in the woods from the deck. The spacious yard was perfect for our reunion. We set up a badminton and corn hole game in the yard and played until dark. The inside of the house is very spacious with a fully stocked kitchen, two separate seating areas plus a dining area and two nice sized bedrooms. Everything was neat and clean, the beds comfortable and owners responsive. We only wish it had been cool enough to use the beautiful wood burning fireplace in the living room. The fireplace just adds more beauty to the rest of the house. We have already started planning for next years reunion.
We had a great stay at this property. We were in town for the Dutchess County Fair and found this listing at the last minute. The property owners were quick to respond and booking and check-in were simple. We are already talking about booking the same weekend for next summer! The property is beautiful and we saw our share of wildlife. Quiet and secluded neighborhood, great for some family time. Looking forward to a future stay! Thanks again.
This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a lovely space with a great deck. We had one extremely hot day, so we were grateful for the central air. Hopefully we'll be back soon!
This was our first visit and immediately one of our favorites in the region. The house is very clean and well maintained, with all the amenities described and then some. There weren’t many special instructions, but everything was very clear and common sense. Mark was very responsive.
We were on the go during our weekend, but would definitely recommend this property for a longer stay, or as a place to simply get away and stay there.
The spiral staircase was a bit tricky for our 2 dogs (mid-size Aussies). It was easily overcome, but if a guest has a dog that might be daunted and is too big to carry up, they should plan on the dog staying downstairs.
That same staircase looks great in this home, which is full of both modern and historic touches. Furnishings are perfectly comfortable-- I’m old enough for good sofas and beds to be a priority away from home. Large deck overlooks a few wooded acres where snowdrops were starting to bloom, and its big table must be a bonus when the weather is nice. There’s the privacy of being in the country, with easy access to Rhinebeck and beyond.
We loved it!
The three generations of our family who stayed here enjoyed our visit immensely. The house is spacious and accommodating, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the location is peaceful yet close to shopping, restaurants, and interesting things to do. Mark was a great host, and having a home that welcomed our dog was the icing on the cake!
