Fabulous hosts and cozy getaway

The hosts were amazing and even offered to upgrade our accomodations after they had a last minute cancelation. The place was cozy and clean and has everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend. Just a short drive (2min?!) to the lake and not far to Cashiers. We loved it, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful during our stay.

Mountain get away!

A Wonderful Weekend!

The hosts made us feel so welcome! There were snacks out for us as we arrived. It was our wedding anniversary and they had an anniversary balloon for us. The hosts were very available and provided advice about restaurants etc. This palce place was perfect for our weekend getaway and very close to lake Glenville.

Easy check in. Host and hostess provided everything we needed from laundry pods to coffee pods and sundry items. Clean unit. Hot tub was heated when we arrived. Comfortable bed.

Fun house with a beautiful view and gracious host!

Chris is one of the most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered. I had asked if she happened to have an extra phone charger around the house and within seconds she brought one of her own to the rental. I left a hair dryer behind and she immediately offered to ship it to me. Besides her being so kind, her rental was very clean and eclectic. It has all the amenities needed for a weekend trip. Plenty of mirrors which is a must for girls trips. We had no problems with parking, odors, bugs, etc. It’s a good quiet location, close enough to restaurants, gas station,etc. Thanks Chris!!

Cozy Cabin in Glenville

Originally, we booked the apartment, but Christine, the manager of the property, had a cancellation for the "Cozy Cabin" and offered us the upgrade! What a nice surprise, to be greeted with snacks, fresh flowers and personal notes! It is a separate little log cabin on the property and we stayed 3 nights! It was everything we could have asked for - a charming, cozy, comfortable cabin in the mountains with a beautiful view and outside sitting area (hot tub was available too)! We enjoyed sitting on the swing out back and listening to the little waterfall just feet away! So peaceful if R&R is what you need! It was very private, and Christine was the best hostess ever! Anything we needed or wanted, she was there to help or advise! We would highly recommend this place to anyone, and we would come back again! It was a most enjoyable little cabin and town to visit, with plenty of hiking and falls to visit in the area! We thank Christine and Jim for their hospitality and warm welcome!

We came to town for a wedding. The place was perfect for getting ready and for winding down after the celebration. We appreciated the ability to only book for one night. It would be a great place to stay if you are in the cashiers/highland area for a short or long weekend. Chris & Jim-Cricket are wonderful and check in and check out processes were very simple and clear. We will definitely be choosing to stay here again in the future and will be recommending this to our friends and family.

Quaint, Quiet, Cottage!!!

My stay was excellent! The property was just as advertised. Had a cosey, homey feel. Had everything I needed and was very clean. Easy to get to and to everything nearby. Check in was a breeze. The owner was very easy to communicate with via email and texts. I highly recommend it and will stay there again when I'm in the area.

Cozy retreat/great location

This sweet retreat was comfortable, and perfect for our needs. We were minutes from the wedding events for which we were in town. Exploring the National Forest nearby was a plus, also. Chris was very helpful and so sweet!

Red Door Retreat

This is a comfy, cozy apartment comprised of four spaces with a balcony overlooking a hillside farm and stream. It’s 18 minutes from downtown Cashiers NC. Fully equipped kitchen, great bathroom, queen bed and sitting area. The owner is very helpful. Yes, I would stay at this listing again.

Peaceful, Tranquil, Getaway

The property is is nestled away in a peaceful and tranquil setting, across from a Christmas tree farm. However, it is convenient to the lake and the town of Cashiers. The cabin was super clean, and had all the accommodations one needs for a perfect getaway. Communicating with the host was incredible and she was very accommodating. I would not hesitate to book this property again or any others the host has available. The area is truly a hidden a gem! I cannot wait to return!

Fantastic Get Away

Chris was extremely timely responding to questions. Everything you could need is in the Retreat, cookware, towels, soaps, glasses, very clean, etc. Hosts were very kind & quick to check on us even after we left. Quiet, peaceful, wonderful view on private deck.
