I was looking for a quiet place with a mountain view for a solo retreat, and The Prime's "Retreat" was the perfect place! All of Christine's touches in the space made it a cozy and interesting place to spend time in. It was very clean and contained everything you might need and then some! Christine is very easy to communicate with, and the best part of my stay was the warm welcome, literally! I didn't arrive until evening and it was cool, so Christine turned on lighting and the heat just before I got there. I highly recommend staying at The Retreat if you're in the area, and I will be back!

I can’t say enough about this little space. So clean and cozy! Very quiet and perfect for sitting outside looking over the tree farm across the way. Communications with Chris was amazing! Always available and accommodating. Perfect weekend stay! Highly recommend!

We've stayed in dozens of places, and we've come to expect a play on words in the descriptions of the property. The owner was clear that this is an apartment that joins the primary residence. That was appreciated. The pics made it obvious that the apartment would be very small. We were disappointed in the "visual" as we were not aware a rental camper would be parked very near us. The driveway area at the apt was unkept and cluttered. As you approach the front door, there is another apt, or maybe an owner entrance to the right. For privacy, that area had a sheet hanging with clothespins. We were glad the temps were mild as the AC struggled to keep up. The inside is very eclectic and just filled to the brim with stuff. As a designer, a small place like this would benefit from a decluttering. With that said, the owner was very kind and courteous, and we appreciate them sharing their spot with us for our one-night stay. We were in the area to kayak Lake Glenville.

You could not ask for a more welcoming and enjoyable place to stay. I arrived after dark and the access was very easy. There were so many small details that the host had prepared prior to my arrival that it took me into the next evening to realize it all. From the personalized welcome note and custom name in a glass coaster, to a wine glass and bath hand towel with my first initial, it was very clear that the hosts truly valued their guest and went the extra 2 miles to make the stay special. There are other things I have not mentioned so as not to give away the farm. I have stayed in a couple of places the last year after our home caught on fire and I travel back and forth to rebuild. This has been my favorite by far and I will be staying again if it is available. Highly recommend!!

We came to town for a wedding. The place was perfect for getting ready and for winding down after the celebration. We appreciated the ability to only book for one night. It would be a great place to stay if you are in the cashiers/highland area for a short or long weekend. Chris & Jim-Cricket are wonderful and check in and check out processes were very simple and clear. We will definitely be choosing to stay here again in the future and will be recommending this to our friends and family.
