My daughter and I have been coming to vineyard haven and staying at this lovely property for years. The studio is a perfect size in a perfect location. We love our time here and we also love Deborah and Ken the most wonderful hosts evah.

It's a small studio, but optimally put together, very clean and easily within walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. And there are some really tall and gorgeous trees out back that are worth a few "wows."

The apartment had everything you would need. It was in a perfect location for travelling to / from the Vineyard Haven Ferry and for exploring the island. Deborah and Ken were very welcoming and were available to provide information about the island.

We absolutely loved our stay at this perfect Vineyard home! The living space was so comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day exploring the island. The convenience of this spot is unbeatable. We were within easy walking distance to an incredible array of local restaurants and fantastic shopping. Plus, being just a stone's throw from the bus terminal made exploring the wider area completely effortless.What really elevated our stay from "good" to "unforgettable" was the host's incredible attention to detail. We walked into a bright space filled with fresh, beautiful flowers that instantly made it feel like home.The thoughtful extras were next-level:A pre-packed beach bag loaded with fluffy towels and excellent local guides/insider info.They even left us tickets to a local baseball game in case we wanted a fun night out!It is rare to find a place that balances a prime location with such genuine, thoughtful hospitality. A great time again! The home is immaculate with relaxing outdoor space! Location of this property is perfect for a solo travelor or a couple! It is walking distance to Ferry, downtown shopping, gym/pool at Mansion House and local eateries! The host is very accomodating!Highly recommend!

Great studio, felt more like a one bedroom with plenty of space. Strong water pressure in shower. Beautiful back yard with turkeys roaming around. Easy walk to town shops and restaurants. I would say the walk from the ferry station to the home is more like 10 minutes.

Lovely and Quaint

Very pretty quaint spot with all the amenities you need for two people. Walk into Vineyard Haven Main Street area and ferry to woods hole. Garden was beautiful . Loved the daily wild turkey visits.

Wonderful Studio apartment in Vineyard Haven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Captain's House Studio. The home had everything we needed - appreciated use of the beach towels. It was so pleasant sitting on the deck after biking all day. Deb's gardens are beautiful. Deb was an excellent host - highly recommend this home!

Central Location

My first time to the island and it was a phenomenal location to hop to all the other towns. Right near the ferry, access to buses, grocery stores, restaurants, souvenir shops. The only downside is no sidewalk on the house side on a very busy street, although drivers are generally kind to pedestrians. Apartment has everything needed for a pleasant stay. I was pleasantly impressed.

Cozy in Vineyard Haven

We were greeted warmly by Debbie. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay in the Vineyard. Appreciated the books on Martha’s Vineyard, the turkeys in the back and having coffee in the mornings on the front porch. Rent this place. You won’t regret.
