Contemporary Pet-Friendly Year-round Retreat. In the Woods, Walk to Town.

Contemporary with open living/dining area, cathedral ceilings, and air conditioning throughout. Sliding and French doors lead to wrap-around decks and a screened-in porch adjacent to the dining room. Outdoor shower.

Walking distance from Lake Tashmoo and Vineyard Haven. A mile and a half to beautiful Tashmoo Town Beach. Lots of amenities including fully stocked kitchen, linens, gas grill, digital piano. Located on very quiet, dead-end street surrounded by woods. Wireless, high speed Internet. Smart TV. Washer and dryer.

Green features include solar panels for electricity generation, EV charging, and mini-splits for AC and efficient room-based heating.

Beds: Queen in master bedroom, twin and trundle (sleeps 3) in second bedroom, full in third bedroom. Master bedroom has private bath with luxurious walk-in shower, .and sliding doors leading out to lower deck.

Kitchen and bathrooms all updated.

Pet-friendly.

High speed, wireless Internet access.

Note that peak period rentals (late May/early June through September) have a one-week minimum with Saturday turnovers. Sorry we can't accommodate other arrival or departure days. Three-night minimum the rest of the year.

Such a great house! It’s a close walk to town and has everything you need to enjoy a great vacation. Enjoyed watching the turkeys walk around and the weather was perfect to BBQ outside and eat out in the enclosed porch.

A lovely home in a an idyllic location!

This is our second time staying at this home and it has again been a terrific experience! Conveniently located to shops and restaurants but off the beaten path so that you can enjoy the quiet. Nicely appointed and managed by a wonderful team!

Wonderful place and location to spend with our family. It had everything we could have possibly wanted or needed and was quiet. Hosts were extremely helpful in informing us of booking the ferry. Overall a great stay and would recommend!

Property is as advertised, looks exactly like the pictures, very clean. Has AC which is important in the summer. Quiet/ safe neighborhood. The place is not as stylish as other places we stayed, could have some more outdoor furniture and different living room set up BUT for the price this is an amazing deal for Martha’s Vineyard. I would recommend this place, especially if you will spending most of your time outside doing things anyways.

Perfect secluded, well-stocked spot

Cannot recommend this property more! Size was perfect for more than just the two of us - well stocked kitchen, perfectly secluded off the beaten path but close enough to town. Wrap around deck was VERY nice and high speed internet was greatly appreciated while we worked that week. 100% would stay again and am planning to book for our next trip asap! Truly a treasure!

Quiet neighborhood and fun "upside down" house

We stayed here in April for a quick little getaway and it was the perfect, nice and quiet neighborhood that we love so much at home (we're light sleepers). Tucked in the woods, with all the comforts of home, we found a perfect place to stay that was also a great jumping-off point to get to other locations on the island. Great for families, we found the walk into town manageable with a 3 and 7 year old (with some carrying of the toddler). Thanks so much for a great stay-we may make this an annual trip in the spring!

MV wedding

The VRBO ad showed a very nice place. The reality was actually even better. Extremely neat and clean. It did need a half bath upstairs and we were told this change was being made over the next year. If we return to MV in the future we will hope to return to this property.

Our group of 4 enjoyed this home very much- it sits in a beautifully wooded, quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to Vineyard Haven. The home was squeaky clean, well stocked with kitchen basics and had a ton of puzzles, games and books too. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of linens, pillows and towels. The furniture and decor were comfortable and made for a wonderful long weekend full of food, games and laughs. Well worth a revisit next time we’re in Vineyard Haven!

Very clean, comfortable, convenient! Well furnished and equipped with everything we needed to be at home away from home! The outside shower is such a treat! Owner was very responsive! We enjoyed biking and Mytoi Japanese Garden on Chappy, The Aquinnah sunset, a show at MV Playhouse for the first time, delicious Caribbean meals from Chef Deon at the VFW in OB, many beaches and light houses and shopping. We hope to be back soon and for longer!

Perfect Getaway

This is our 2nd time staying here and certainly will not be our last! It’s the perfect location especially during busy season on the vineyard because you’re able to get away and get a bit of paradise yet are close enough to everything you need. Super clean and comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen in terms of appliances. Close to our favorite fish market - it brings everything you need. This year we even forgot our chairs and found a set of 4 that were better than what we would have brought. Thanks again for the perfect getaway!

Love Blue Hollow!

We've stayed at this awesome home 3 times so far and are looking forward to our 4th stay. We always look forward to the updates that Barry and Roberta have completed. The sky lights are a really nice touch. This home is close to VH either by bike or walking. While we spend most of our time in Oak Bluffs, we have 2 kids, it's a very short bike ride to this town also. I would recommend this home to anyone and we hope to get back there this year as well.

Feels Private Yet It Is Close to VH!!

We loved this house!! It was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Having 2 full bathrooms was wonderful and washer and dryer upstairs, fabulous! Being so close the Vinyard Haven and yet feeling secluded felt special. Having two levels of porches, with a screened-in room was just great. We could all be outside and comfortable yet find some privacy for the parents and ‘kids’ to hang. I would highly recommend this house!! If we could make it even better, we would add a powder room on the top, main floor, maybe where the big closet is. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

We have been coming to the Vineyard for decades and have loved it in every season. We have family on the Island, and as their families and ours expanded we decided we needed our own home.

Why they chose this property

We love the quiet, dead-end street with lots of trees. close enough to walk into town but far enough to be a true retreat with a feeling of privacy. There is lots of natural light, and the open floor plan upstairs makes it family friendly and great for entertaining. We love the wrap-around deck on the upper level and the large back yard.

What makes this property unique

Because we and our family spend so much time here ourselves we keep the home in great condition. It is well maintained, frequently updated, and furnished for comfort.

We love animals and wanted to make this property pet friendly for our renters as well.
