About this property
Cedar Cabin: Dog friendly cabin w/ private hot tub & breakfast delivered daily!
Cedar Cabin is the dog-friendliest of a trio of dog-friendly cabins in the Finger Lakes. Cedar Cabin is the only cabin in the Finger Lakes with a fenced in backyard for your dog(s)! This cabin has a full kitchen, including dishwasher, a bathtub and separate shower, air conditioning and private hot tub. It is a 1BR cabin with a queen sized bed and a full-sized pullout queen sofa bed. Cedar Cabin is distinctly decorated with a wine barrel theme.
The Mill Creek Cabins experience is quite unique and special. As you arrive you'll pass wineries, the beautiful Finger Lakes (either Seneca or Cayuga), Amish buggies, and finally you'll find the Cabins, among the Finger Lakes National Forest. Check-in is a breeze and you'll notice that you are one of only three groups who are enjoying the property. You'll start your evening by grilling up some burgers and enjoying the porch. You might take a dip in the hot tub before settling in by the fire pit. Plenty of firewood and charcoal are available on site to purchase.
When you wake up the next morning, Mary from Taste of Wine Country Cafe will deliver your breakfast. Not a morning person? She'll drop off the meal on your front porch and you can get it when you roll out of bed. Coffee comes with creamer and sugar. If you are a morning person, maybe you'll enjoy a hike! There's a one mile path around the perimeter of the 40 acre property.
There's so much to do in the Finger Lakes during the day. Lodi is located between Seneca and Cayuga lakes. Mill Creek Cabins is surrounded by the Finger Lakes National Forest. While it feels completely remote, the beginning of the Seneca Wine trail is less than 5 miles (9 minutes) away. When you get back, you might take advantage of the yard games like volleyball, yard darts, bocce ball, and croquet. After all that activity, you'll probably want to settle in with a movie - each cabin has access to Netflix and Hulu, and you can sign into any of your own systems. Or, go a little retro and watch one of the DVDs provided!
Amenities:
Hot breakfast delivered daily
Dog-friendly
Kitchen with dishwasher
Fire pit (firewood for sale on site)
Charcoal Grill (charcoal for sale on site)
Hot Tub (private, out door, open year round)
Coffee bar, with cream and sugar provided
-Onsite one mile walking trail through the back 40 acres (avoid during hunting season please, Nov-Mar)
A note on cleaning fees:
* We charge a cleaning fee. This fee offsets our costs for turning over the cabin and the hot tub in between stays. We do not enter the cabin once you have checked in (unless there is an emergency or you ask us to).
* Charging this fee allows us to be flexible in stay length. Having a one-time fee incentivizes longer stays, and makes a one-night stay worth the extra effort!
* We are CHORE-FREE! No chore list upon checkout. You do not have to vacuum, do laundry, take out the trash, or strip the beds. We provide light cleaning materials in case there's a spill.

Why they chose this property
The Mill Creek Cabins were built in 2006 and have been owner-operated ever since. Sara purchased the property in 2018 after Mike and Brenda retired, and she's excited to continue their work taking care of the land.
What makes this property unique
Mill Creek Cabins is totally rustic - you will drive through farm country before you reach your home in the forest. Yet you get hot breakfast delivered each morning, and you have access to a hot tub.
Mill Creek Cabins is the only pet-friendly glamping experiences in the Finger Lakes that offers a hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill, kitchenette, onsite walking trail, and breakfast delivery!
