The cabin is beautiful and very clean. The host was wonderful. There was a grill and picnic table so we could enjoy a nice summer evening dinner. Wonderful location with lots of wineries nearby. My sisters and I had a great time and will definitely stay there again.
Was a beautiful cabin right in the middle of the wineries on the East side of the lake. Also very close to boat ramps if you are planning a fishing trip. Great amenities as all you need is clothes and food. Definitely a place I would like to return to on another trip in the future.
Cabin was clean and comfortable. New in appearance (fixtures etc). We brought both special needs dogs and the living area and outside lawn was easy for them to navigate. The front porch was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again!
This was home base for us as we explored the Finger Lakes, Seneca Falls, Harriet Tubman museum in Auburn, Glenn Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, Watkins Glen. So much to enjoy. Clean unit, comfortable beds. The owner came to see how we were doing.
We love staying in your cottages. They are so close to all the places we visit. You guys are just a text away for any questions we need answers to. Thanks again for another great Finger Lakes visit.
Good stay and location worked well for us. Liked the log cabin and the area around it. Coordinating with the owner and getting door open was a bit clunky but otherwise it was a nice stay.
This was our third stay. We’re never disappointed. The cabin is always spotless and feels like a home away from home. Cheryl and Jim are wonderful hosts! We can’t wait to come back again. :)
We came here for our annual father son fishing trip. Loved the cabin - the cleanliness, layout and necessities without being too cluttered. Spot down by the water is well worth the walk!
We loved our weekend getaway. We will be back for another stay.
The cabin was very clean and Cheryl was very friendly during our check in.

Thank you for this review Marianne. We loved having you stay and welcome you back any time again in the future! You are five-star guests and we appreciate that you left the cabin in excellent condition at check out. Kind regards, Jim and Cheryl
This was our third time staying at this property and we enjoyed it just as much as the other times we’ve stayed here. We met one of the property owners. He was very helpful with questions we had. We let him know this was our anniversary and we always come here for our anniversary weekend. After a day of being out and about, we came back to a bottle of wine left for us, with note wishing us happy anniversary! We’ve already booked our stay for next year! Clean, pet-friendly, conveniently located. We love this place!

About the host
Hosted by Cheryl Santos
My husband Jim and I moved to Cayuga Lake in 2002 - he from Pine City NY and me from Hawaii. We both are naturally drawn to water, so Cayuga Lake was our chosen place. My husband has 3 grown children and he retired in 2012. Now our children are of the four-legged sort (we have friendly tale-wagging dogs and we invite you to bring your dogs along). We live directly across the street from the cabin and we are always available if you need anything. We take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable vacation property, and it is important to us that you have a wonderful vacation experience. We want to ensure that you’ll make memories here that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Why they chose this property
We chose Cayuga Lake for its natural beauty, the variety of things to see and do in close proximity, yet also the tranquility of country living. We envisioned building a cabin here so we could share this unique area with others, providing a comfortable retreat for our guests. We designed and built the cabin as a contemporary modern space yet with rustic charm.
What makes this property unique
Situated in a sunny field adjoining the woods, this log cabin is a tranquil retreat. It is very spacious for 2 – 6 people with an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and 2 private bedrooms. It is impeccably clean and is well equipped with most necessary items. A walking trail across the street gives you access to Cayuga Lake. The cabin is centrally located on the Cayuga Wine Trail. Nearby are hiking trails, biking paths, and quaint shops. The cabin rental costs less per person than many hotels, plus you have your own private space. The radiant floor heating warms the cabin to a cozy temperature on cool nights. It is also air conditioned for your comfort in summer months.
