Property is right on the beach and next to the pool. A little bit noisy at night since the pool is open until 11 pm, which might not be suitable for little ones not staying up that late. Updated inside and great stay overall, centrally located to everything in Myrtle Beach.

Get away for the weekend

My husband and I our 3 kids and my mother-in-law stay from Friday to Monday. It was definitely a nice little get away for the weekend. The condo was very easy to find and was perfect size. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time at the condo and we had an amazing time again! We have two young kiddos and the condo's floor plan, amenities, and location fits all our needs! A big "Thank You" to our host. Wouldn't stay there again. Furniture wasn't as advertised when I booked trip in June. Master & hall closets locked, denying access. A/C in 2nd & 3rd bedrooms doesn't work well while Master is freezing. No fans. Could be cleaner. Even basics not furnished, except for bath towels. Would have preferred higher floor as no view. Close to pool although sometimes noisy.

My family and I have recently discovered our new favorite accommodation in Myrtle Beach, SC. This particular unit stands out as the finest in the entire hotel. The back patio offers a welcoming ambiance reminiscent of a porch back home, where we enjoyed sipping our morning coffee while listening to the soothing sound of the waves—a truly tranquil retreat. I appreciated the convenience of being on the ground level, complete with a gate on the porch that allowed us to bypass the hotel lobby. The unit itself was immaculate and beautifully designed, exuding a charming farmhouse-inspired beach aesthetic. The property was consistently clean and well-maintained, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The booking manager was outstanding and incredibly accommodating. Overall, we rate this place a perfect 10 out of 10, and now, it’s hard for us to consider staying anywhere else.

Ground floor ocean front.

The condo was a nice size. It had everything we needed. The pool is literally next to the condo which is great for kids but a little noisy for us. The twin mattresses were hard as bricks. We had to go purchase a $100 foam topper so that the oldest person in our group could sleep. It’s nicely decorated and kitchen was furnished so you could cook. It was very clean, although I believe someone had stayed previously who smoked.

Great Location!

It was very convenient to beach and pools! A short drive to fun tourist attractions. A couple downsides. We weren’t aware the restaurant on site would be closed. A lazy river was advertised but I’m not quite sure what or where it was. Although the unit was pretty clean I felt for the cleaning fee we paid there would be a more thorough cleaning done. It was also advertised that there would be beach towels so we didn’t pack any. But there were none. Overall still a great stay.

Carolina Winds - Myrtle Beach

Amazing location! Beachfront, ground floor corner unit just a few steps to the beach. We enjoyed it so much, we have booked it again for early October🤗 My only suggestions to improve the unit would be to have better pots and pans, some kitchen towels, better kitchen cleaning stuff (sponge & scrubber). It would be nice if it was better supplied with trash bags, laundry detergent (there were only two pods) & dishwasher detergent (again, only a couple of pods). IMO, the dishwasher needs to be replaced. The lower rack is missing a wheel and does not roll properly and it has some rust. The closet door in one of the bedrooms was propped up against the wall, and I think the track needs some repair. It was like that when we arrived. I would suggest a better, larger rug at the patio door to reduce what little sand is tracked in. This is all real minor stuff and overall it is a beautiful and well appointed unit. We absolutely loved it 😀👍. Can hardly wait until our next visit!

BEST VACATION EVER

Where do I start? The owner was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating during our stay and really made vacationing with a baby and toddler so much easier! The condo was clean and easy to keep clean during our stay. There were extra linens, a vacuum, cleaning supplies, etc available to use. We stayed mid-September and we hardly heard any pool noise inside. My kids had no trouble napping or sleeping while people were outside enjoying the pool. Also, It being ground level with a gate leading out to the beach path was a LIFE SAVER. We could bring our beach wagon and sandy toys to the hose next door in the pool area and leave them out to dry on the back porch without hauling them through the condo. We had a wonderful stay and WE WILL BE BACK!

The property is dated and the building average at best. The cleanliness and amenities were deficient. We also dealt with a number of issues during our stay and they were never resolved. I would not stay in this property again.

Beach trip for Grandma

We needed a ground floor unit with easy access to the beach for my 86 year old mother with vision and mobility issues. The unit is pretty much what you'd expect for a rental. It is spacious but not very clean. Bath towels and bed linens are the only things provided. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Even though you are requested to leave all dishes clean and put away, there are no kitchen towels, cloths, sponges or even hot pads. Trash can bags are not even supplied and I think the dishwasher soap was left from previous guests. It is right next to the pool so be prepared for the maintenance crew to start cleaning it about 5:45 am. The equipment must be attached to the wall connected to the the bedrooms because it is very loud, especially if they are talking. However, the bath & shower fixtures have been nicely updated.

Fantastic 1st floor 3 bedroom corner unit!

My family of 5 and I really enjoyed this 1st floor corner unit. Just steps to the beach walkway and right next to the pool and close to parking lot. No need to ride an elevator anywhere. Wifi worked great as a couple of us were working remotely. Short walk to grocery store, pharmacy, few restaurants. Spacious bedrooms and comfy living room seating and 2 large tv's. You can still see the ocean even thought it's a 1st floor unit. Expect pool chatter/noise since it's next to the pool. Could have been cleaned/dusted better. With pandemic we prepared more foods than usual and kitchen could use more basic items such as baking sheet, square baking pan, oven mitts, small fry pans. More seating on patio needed- sleeps 6 but only 3 chairs on patio. A couple of folding chairs were available since the dining table has just 4 seats. Coffee table in living room and couple of small bar stools at kitchen counter area are also suggested. There was a water leak in floor of washer/dryer area (not related to washer), but owner quickly had that taken care of. Overall we had a GREAT family vacation in this unit with perfect sunny weather!

Great Location and Facility

Everything was great. Great location on first floor next to pool and beach walkway. It was great not having to take elevator. Only downside was master bedroom mattress. It was uncomfortable but understand owners not wanting to put expensive mattress in rental. Parking was easy as well as check in. Overall a great place to stay!

The Carolina Winds staff was very friendly, parking is very straightforward, pools are great, location is great. Honestly this room specifically is the best room in the building. The room is directly beside the pool and directly ocean front, we had a freaking blast. The room has plenty of space, everything inside was pretty standard, good furniture, everything you need in the kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom is spacious, and the other rooms are pretty great themselves. The only thing that could be better is the cleaning. Under the furniture, under the cushions, beds, and any hard to reach place clearly hasn’t been touched in a while. Altogether though this was a great place to stay, I would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting Myrtle.

Overall good. The constant resetting of the thermostat was a bit daunting. Auto set to 83. Had to reset every 4 hours. 1 bedroom extremely earth and humid. Unit could use some updates, but overall just fine
