Port Charlotte is located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida between Sarasota and Fort Myers. There are 3 major airports within a 100 mile radius .. Tampa, Fort Myers and Sarasota, and a smaller airport in Punta Gorda which is only 15 minutes away.

Charlotte Harbor includes one of the world's largest protected marine estuaries encompassing 270 square miles. Charlotte Harbor is one of " Sail " magazines "10 Greatest Places to Sail" and first class boating is available throughout the area. You can also explore waterways by canoe and cycle the many nature trails. Other local activities include diving, jet skiing, boat hire, shopping, numerous restaurants catering for all tastes ! The area is perfect for fishing, both deep sea and coastal with many places offering equipment, boat rental and charter trips.

Other than Port Charlotte Beach, There are many fantastic beaches close including Manasota, Englewood, Don Pedro Island, Stump Pass Beach, Gasparilla Island and Boca Grande

The Tampa Rays make the Port Charlotte Sports Complex home for spring training each year.

The main living area is in the heart of the home with comfortable seating , TV and a Pull out sofa.The living area opens up to Dining and kitchen area with Breakfast nook.
The kitchen contains all the comforts of home and is fully stocked to prepare meals and drinks for your family and guests.
Large sliding patio doors at the back of the home opens up the kitchen to covered lanai and screened in pool area with patio table and chairs, pool loungers and grill .

Peaceful place to stay

We sincerely enjoyed our week stay at John’s home in Port Charlotte. The neighborhood was very quiet, the accommodations were absolutely perfect, and we had everything we needed for our stay. Our kids really enjoyed the pool, and it was an easy drive to several different attractions and beaches. We will most definitely be staying here again for future vacations!!

Home from home

We visit Port Carlotte from the UK every few years. We love the area, away from the tourist hot spots. So the villa is in a perfect location for us. Villa is very spacious and comfortable, feeling very homely. Pool is a good size and very pleasant for cooling down after bring out for the day. Would benefit from a bit of redecoration, but there was nothing that impacted negativly on our stay. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Don’t waste your money

For the price, not worth it. The house is very outdated and the stipulations are ridiculous. The beds were horrible (one felt like it was a box). The sofa/loveseat has plywood to keep cushions from drooping. Very cold and unwelcoming altogether. Won’t stay here again.

Perfect home for a relaxing break

From the minute we walked through the door The Regan House felt like home. The house is spotlessly clean, pleasantly decorated and has all the amenities and facilities for a comfortable stay. With a south facing lanai, we found the solar heated swimming pool was always warm enough for us to use during our stay in November. It is located in a quiet area, but within easy access of Port Charlotte Town Center for shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Be advised that there is no phone in the house, so if you are overseas tourists like us with no cell phone, you won't be able to contact the management company. However this was no problem, as homeowner John instantly replied to any messages we sent with helpful responses or advice. If we ever return to Port Charlotte we would be delighted to stay here again.

Pleasant stay but some maintenance issues

With every rental there are some features we like and sometimes some issues. The positives: the pool was nice and warm, house was clean, large bedrooms, location was good only 6 minutes by car for basic shopping, lovely fauna, The issues: total lack of response from the management company, they did not return our three calls, we called about the following: 1. the dishwasher needs to be repaired, we could not use it. 2. the solar blanket is disintegrating and leaves bits of plastic in the pool. 3. The handle came off the solar blanket roller. I contacted the owner twice on other matters and while he responded there was no follow up or action that I could see. The cement surface on the pool is beige and stained so not inviting and the caulking has mildew and is falling into the pool. The cushions on the patio set have a lot of mildew on them. The bath and pool towels need to be replaced many are torn and stained. There are many sheets of rules posted throughout the house, perhaps consolidate them. M and L

Cute house enjoyable stay

Experience was good with John. Lady I had called when alarm was going off was rude, called me a liar when I said we hadn’t used any water we’d been gone all day and came home to an alarm going off. Other than that have more toilet paper and towels in the bathrooms and if you’d like use to start the laundry when we leave have laundry detergent. Over all it was very enjoyable and as I said John was great answered texts quickly and I’d definitely go back.

Family Fun

We visited P.C. primarily to see my wife's sister for the first time since covid. We were joined by my wife's other sister and her husband at the last moment because Allegiant scheduled a flight from Rockford, Il. The Regan house was perfect for our needs. The only issues were with lack of paper supplies and both grills were too dirty to use The location was fine with a nice pool and lanai, and we had a great visit.

Very nice place

Communication was excellent from the very beginning. House was exactly as described, a little tired, but considering it is a short term rental and some people may be a little rough on accommodations, we were very happy with the house. After a day touring, the rear yard and pool were an ideal location to unwind and relax. The neighbourhood was great, super quiet at night for sleeping. Management was on top of things from the very start and helped me with issues regarding the TV, turned out to be a user issue! Would I stay there again, without a doubt, thanks very much.
