Great location very close to beach and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants at Semaphore Beach. Lovely cafe on beach within 2 minutes walk from house. House very spacious and beds very comfortable.

Magnificent Property

The house was magnificent. Massive place with plenty of space for the 6 of us staying there. Short walk to cafes and the beach. Owner was brilliant, fantastic communication with us at all times

Nice house in Semaphore

Perfectly suited to our extended family group. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Carolyn was very helpful. Only down-side was that the oven didn't work.

Wonderful home!

We had the best time during our stay, we didn't want to leave! A short walk to the beach so we could take the dogs and then back to the house to jump in the pool! Excellent outdoor space, so much room inside and out. We would love to visit again. Thanks also for making it pet friendly.

Great potential however needing some love!

We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the property. We booked into stay for a week, we weren't able to unpack our bags due to wardrobes being dirty and dusty.. there was dust all over bedside tables and bedframes. There were cob webs in the bathrooms, dust and hair. In the kitchen there was dirty cutlery, glass wear and plates, including the draws that the kitchen items were in. The babies bedding that was supplied was full of dust and needed to be re-washed. Hot plates not working and dirty washing machine. Mold on bedroom wall. States two bathrooms however the second space is a little shower in a toilet cubical. Needs a huge deep clean, especially when paying over 3k to stay for a week. Huge home, so much space and great outdoor areas. Great location and neighbourhood - Has so much potential!!

Hi Kiziah, we apologise for this experience - we generally have very good ratings on the home's cleanliness and as it has been some months (I have only just seen this review) so I can't comment on the specifics. You will see on this platform and others that our cleanliness rating is very high generally. Regarding the bathrooms, the photos show one standard and one small bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.

Star of Semaphore

Fantastic location in walking distance to beach, shops, bars, restaurants. ( about 15 minutes) Heaps of on site parking House is very large with multiple options for gatherings. Great for families or group of friends. Back yard is huge so lots of room for children to run and play. Enormous pool Well stocked with pantry items, washing powder, toilet paper etc. All in all a great stay. Thank you Carolyn

Sensational Semaphore

A fantastic get away to Semaphore, the house was great with plenty of room for all of us, private spaces for teenagers , comfortable beds, table tennis championships and a gorgeous beach to walk the pup. Thanks for the break!!

Larger than expected

The house was very comfortable , so much so that we just wanted to stay there rather than tour around Adelaide!!!! Huge beautiful pool , ample rooms. The best location , right on Quaint Semaphore with great restaurants and walks on the beach!

A slice of paradise

This house can fit a couple of families with ease, but the two of us and our dog had a brilliant time! It's luxury at every turn but the pool and the games room are the real draw card for us. Plus it's walking distance to the mainstreet (with so many food choices) - a block to a brilliant beach - and the way the house is designed, once you're inside, you feel like you're in a palatial mansion. The hosts are friendly and fabulous - nothing is too much bother. That's why we keep coming back!

House is large but old & needs some attention. It wasn’t very clean. Some utensils need to be replaced. Mouldy tea towel. Dirty pillow case. Garden & outdoor area & pool great & location good. Owner was great & easily contacted

Relaxing and enjoyable with amazing proximity to the beach.

This property best suits a family as its facilities are very apt for a family with a large backyard (great for cricket) amazing outdoor entertaining area and a fabulous sized outdoor pool. The two generous sized living areas were terrific, not to mention the availability of indoor table tennis competitions. Carolyn was easily contactable and made herself available if needed at any time. We would easily stay at this property in the future.
