The view! The view! The view!

Oh my... the view from this property was beyond expectations. The condo was clean and spacious for our 8 day stay. The beach only steps away and the gardens beautifully maintained. Communication with Christian was excellent... usually replying to our messages with hours.

Bahía del Sol vacation

This property was just as described. Although it left out the part about how charming it is! This condo has been updated not too long ago and we were very comfortable there. The condominium complex itself is a little older and smaller but we liked that. Christian was very quick to respond to questions we had. Would definitely consider this space again if planning on returning to the area.

Nuevo Vallarta New Year's

We had a great time at this Nuevo Vallarta condo over New Year's. We have a family of 5 and we had plenty of room with amazing views of the ocean from both of the balconies. The complex has a pool, Italian restaurant, and is steps to the beach. The pool was pretty cold, but the kids enjoyed the beach everyday. We also ate at the Italian restaurant and other restaurants within walking distance. The neighborhood is very safe, quiet and there is a small grocery and mall which you can walk to in about 15 minutes. Christian was very helpful and responded quickly through What's app. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Nuevo Vallarta.

Best views, fabulous beach. love this location

We stayed here for 10 weeks, from mid December to early March. The condo is spacious and well furnished. Beds are comfy and kitchen meets most needs, but does not have a stove. Washer and dryer are new and handy to have. Two patios allow for lots of outside time gazing at the water when not actually sitting at the beach. The best thing about this condo is its location, right on the beach overlooking the pool. When you wake up in the morning and look outside, the waves are what you see and hear first. There is also an Italian restaurant (Guido's) on site with decent food and beach service if you want it. The only down side is the nightly entertainment. Five nights a week you hear the same performer singing the same songs and after a while it gets very annoying. It's hard to drown him out because of the proximity. The owner, Christian, is a pleasure to deal with and the staff at Bahia del Sol are a lovely group of people to work with. I highly recommend this place.

Great location, Walkable, Pool, Beach, great views!

We chose to stay at this location for multiple reasons. We were down in Nuevo Vallarta for a wedding at the Marival, and had other friends who stay in this condo complex for the winter months who recommended us to stay there as well. It worked out perfectly. The pool is massive and we never saw more than 2-3 people in it at a time. It wasn't overwhelming. There is also an Italian restaurant by the pool/beach, food is ok. There are quite a fair amount of beach umbrellas and chairs for lounging, and plenty around the pool. The condo unit itself is very good. two balconies, one on each floor. The upstairs is all one large open bedroom with a King Bed. It is quite large with the larger balcony upstairs too. This balcony has no umbrella, or cover, so it gets quite hot in the sun. The second bedroom is at the back of the unit with two double beds. Both bedrooms have their own washroom connected. There is no wifi to connect to inside the unit, however, the condo complex does have its own wifi that is hit and miss. The unit did have a good amount of cleaning supplies, brooms, etc. but no shampoo/conditioner (obviously), so just a reminder to bring your own! The condos are only 3-4 floors, with no elevator, so keep that in mind should you have someone who cannot walk up stairs. We did have some trouble contacting our host, as we were never sent information on how to get into the unit until we asked the day we arrived. We also never received an answer when asked about wifi. We found out through friends about the situation, We fully enjoyed our stay and recommend the walk to restaurants, Starbucks, and the beach. We enjoyed the Ciao restaurant across the street with great live music. We had brunch at Riviera plenty of times. Fajita Republic was awesome for a dinner out with friends. La Isla Restaurant is small, but so accommodating, and the food is great! In the little mall that Starbucks is in, there is a restaurant called Jude that is also great for brunch.

About the wifi, there is wifi at the hotel but i've just buy a wifi just for the apartment, the modem was in the living room. You didnt ask me about it. Needs Some Work

First and foremost, Christian was incredibly responsive; messages were always answered promptly and that was very much appreciated. Staff were always very helpful, water was actually delivered to the unit, everyone we met was very nice and the unit was spotless. Some not-so-good parts: On-site restaurant has been closed since November (listing should have been updated). Wifi doesn’t reach the downstairs bedroom or balcony. Fan in downstairs bedroom only spins backwards. There’s a stove… top, no oven. All doors need to be replaced (handles about to fall off, cracks big enough to see through). Main tv must be over a decade old. Whether it was the age, corrosion or dust, HDMI input doesn’t work (neither does the cable, but we gave up trying after only an hour). If you’re over 5’10” watch your head coming down the stairs. Water pressure is atrocious throughout. Don’t close the balcony door on the second level if you’re on the balcony and alone, you’ll get locked out. Long story short: with an investment in upgrades this unit will be amazing.

We were looking for a beautiful beach, close to restaurants and shops and a place with ocean views. This condo has it all. Steps to the beach with miles of walking and some great little restaurants , host Christian was very helpful. We will be back !

It is in a quieter section of Nuevo Ballarta. Can’t beat the view from this apartment. About 1 km from all amenities and a few restaurants near property. If your looking to stay on the beach, this is the place to do it!

Great beach & resort staff, poor condo

The beach location was beautiful and quiet. The resort was older but the public areas were nicely maintained and the staff was wonderful and helpful. We found the condo to be aged but somewhat updated with newer washer and dryer which was nice to have. Unfortunately the kitchen lacked the most basic supplies such as salt, pepper, dish soap, laundry detergent and paper towels or napkins. Also the condo lacked basic upkeep. When we arrived, we discovered the only lamp in one bedroom was broken and unusable and the cooktop was out of service during our entire stay despite lots of back and forth messaging with the owner who sent us ideas to try to fix it ourselves and then asked us to figure out how to find a Maintanence guy to fix it. Needless to say, neither issue was ever resolved during our stay and we were not able to make any condo meals during our stay. Gorgeous views from balcony though.

Sorry to read you have such experience in our apartment. During your stay you only told me that you couldn't use the stove, i sent you the way to unlock it but unfortunately you wasnt able to do it. As i told you, i cant give you money back cause you couldnt use the stove. Actually the apartment has another stove and you didnt use it. Thank you for reporting the lamp, i´ve already fix it.
