Family of four stayed here. Great property right next to the Rockies. Rocky Mountain national Park is a 15 minute drive. Downtown Estes is fun. The Stanley hotel is a must do, especially for dinner. We also went right white water rafting, hiking, and ATVing.
Was a great trip - house was perfect location with great views. Place was comfortable with a great layout for the family to hang together or get alone time. Great intro to the Rockies for Grandma. Would go back again!
Property is in a GREAT location. Close to everything. Easy to get in and out of. Had one initial issue as the heat went out on first day of stay. Management was great! Very responsive. With it being a holiday they somehow tracked down people to fix it quickly. Great response. We loved our atay!!
Our family of 6 came for rest and relaxation and that’s just what we got. The house is beautifully decorated with an amazing panoramic view of the mountains. The kitchen is stocked well with everything you need to cook home meals. The kids loved the game room! Very quite neighborhood and conveniently located to town and RMNP. Lots of elk and mule deer passed through the yard too!
Our family of four stayed in this property over Spring Break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved lounging in the sunroom and had a lot of elk visits! Our 9 and 12 year olds enjoyed playing in the basement with the arcade games or foosball, but mostly enjoyed having their own space. The layout of the home is convenient and was supplied with everything we needed. The house could have been a bit cleaner-we found quite a bit of hair and some trash under tables and furniture. But the kitchen and bathroom were clean and we didn’t have any concerns there. We would love to visit this home again for a future visit!

Great Location!
Our family really enjoyed this home. The location is fantastic - less than 5 minutes to downtown Estes Park and close to restaurants and grocery store. The house itself is a little dated with some minor wear and tear. On the plus side - it is super sunny with lots of windows and roomy enough for 6-8 people with plenty of living space. We enjoyed watching the elk from inside each day as they roamed the yard. Very cozy!

Home needs maintenance
We enjoyed our trip but were disappointed in the shape of the house. There were broken blinds, shower slow draining, not the cleanest, dishwasher not properly attached, broken tiles. Basically some small maintenance would go a long way. Loved the
Location!
The property was close to town, 5 min from downtown, grocery, and getting out and about. Spacious enough to fit our family of 6. The washing machine did not work when we tried (this is also how I decide which VRBO to choose), however, the person we reached out promptly to let me know it was being repaired after our stay. The game room was probably the best part for the kids. Overall met our needs.

Needs maintenance
Many things did not work on site. Smoke detetors laying on counters or put in baskets. Washing machine did not work properly. DON'T light the fire place or you lose all arm hair. Lights weren't working, and remote for living room tv had to be shared with a bedroom one. Toilet lid was broken, faucet spouts bent over. Main shower did not drain. Great location
Just to note: We had a good time during our stay! The outside of the property was not very appealing when we arrived. The lawn was not cut and it gave the appearance of being very unkept and this is very nice neighborhood . The garage door looked like it needs repair. Inside the 1) dishwasher was not installed properly and there is a board that is part of the cabinet face that kept falling free every time we opened the dish washer to put in dishes. 2) Unable to attach to the Wi-Fi the handbook directions did not work. 3) The (4)sliding screen doors kept falling off the track. We had a very nice time the house just needs some maintenance. The management Team were very nice and helpful prior to our arrival.
The dishwasher quit working mid stay. The door handle into the garage kept falling off. The middle toilet kept running due to a leaky flapper valve. It snowed and was really wet. There was just one floor mat at an exterior door. The mat at the garage door was a mess, everyone would have benefited from more mats at the exterior doors. Both showers drain slowly suggesting a hair ball or two. Remote for garage door dead as were several lights. IT would have been nice to have a couple bar stools at the video games,

Good stay… house needs work
The house itself was beautiful, in a fantastic location & had plenty of room. However, the lawn was extremely overgrown to the point neighbors were complaining and we have a code enforcement officer come to the door to talk to us about it. The officer ended up leaving his card once we made him aware we were not the owners. The master sink faucet was broken & hanging in the sink, top of the master toilet was cracked in half and the last night we stayed there we found there was a leak in the hall bath that came through the ceiling in the basement where the kids were hanging out & sleeping.
We notified the contact listed about the issues & the only real response was “thank you”. We kind of expected someone would come look at it or at least mow the lawn…
All in all a good stay but DEFINITELY needs some TLC!
We had a great time in Estes park and enjoyed our trip. The house contact was responsive and friendly. The house itself was dated. Sheets appeared to not be clean, but home contact stated the sheets often would have fuzz and Joe from the cleaning crew. The dishwasher worked, but was not secured under the cabinet. The floors would leave your feet dirty, so they had been Swept, but not mopped or wiped down. No hot water on 1st morning due to pilot being out on hot water tank, got with house contact and got into closet and got tank heating again, but hot water tank was not working properly as doors could not be put on or pilot would go out. Overall I would not stay here again and I would give it a 2 out of 5, but again it was a safe place and the house contact was responsive.
Our family of 5 from Eastern, SD thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! From the beautiful views looking out around the house, the quiet neighborhood, presence of wildlife in the yard, to the cleanliness of the home.
Spending the extra money to stay at an Vrbo we made a conscience effort to eat home cooked meals instead of eating out, the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, even a couple of spices I forgot to bring along.
My favorite part of the home was the sunporch! Sitting in the sun, reading, with the screen door letting in the mountain breeze was priceless.
My husband would say having a tv in every bedroom was his favorite, as he could watch whenever and wherever. With three kids and a wife, it’s a rare occurrence. ;)
Our children ages 13, 5 and 3 all said they loved playing outside, even more than playing inside the cabin with all the great electronics provided.
A young bunny often hung around the cabin, on the last night we had a buck out the back door. Prior to our stay there must have been another young family that stayed as there was a tree fort made, our youngsters enjoyed playing in.
Thank you for providing this opportunity for us, there’s only so much you can do at a hotel. In our opinion it was certainly worth the extra money to stay at a VRBO especially leaving with more clean laundry than dirty!
We hope to return to the area sooner than later and would plan to stay here again.

not so great
The house was very clean and we were provided with plenty of clean towels and bedsheets but outside of that everything was a letdown. The bathrooms didn't have bath soap. The internet did not work and there was no TV service. Everything in the house is super dated. Nothing was provided in the kitchen except dishes. It would be nice to have some salt or sugar provided. The water dispenser on the fridge did not work. Windows didn't open or close as well. Instructions on the house were very minimal. We were given instructions on loading the dishwasher and starting it prior to checking out but no dishwasher soap was provided. Also, the dishwasher had a horrible smell and didn't work anyways. We were also left with instructions to take the trash out but no dumpster was seen. Attempted to call the property manager but never got a callback. Great vacation in Estes Park regardless of the poor quality of the services provided by this house. Location was very convenient.
