Wonderful Lake Home on beach to create memories and relax. Beautiful Views

Enjoy our beautiful Lake Home. It is on the Water Beach & has Amazing views. It is a great place for families, couples, and friends to Relax, play, staycation, workcation. It is an ideal location and a great place to enjoy all year round.
amazing large patio area which is fantastic to enjoy; catching the sun; watching the beauty of the sunse; great for yoga etc. . If you prefer shade; we have large tree that brings great shade.

There is a great walking and biking trail close by. You are also within 15 minutes of great amenities and restaurants. We are dog friendly. We ask you to please pick up any doggy do.

No Parties. If you want to party, Do not book this property. We ask and require you to please respect the Neighbours and Environment. No Parties are permitted and No Noise Disturbances for the neighbors. The neighbors should not be able to hear you. Please no loud music, yelling, vulgar language, etc. This is at any time of day. There is zero tolerance as this is key for being good neighbors and for the bylaw.
Please note we have a NO PARTY POLICY. Music levels and noise needs to be kept to a reasonable level so as not to be heard by and as to not disturb the neighbors. We have to have a No Noise Neighbour Disturbance policy. It is a nice family area to enjoy.

The fall is fantastic.

Our guests comments that the home is larger than the pictures show - 2200 sq feet. The master bedroom is large with a King Bed and ensuite. The large Sunroom is great overlooking the water for relaxing with the views. It's great for Yoga. The family room and kitchen are open concepts. large outside deck for dining and seating area that overlooks the water. . The sunroom is also amazing for yoga looking into the water and or relaxing all year. A great weber grill also.

You can bask in the sun or sit under the shaded tree.
Beach access is at the back and or at the corner 3 houses down there is a beach entry point. Use at your own risk and with caution. Not supervised. Lake\ beach can change; Weather dependant. Should not use in storms, waves, etc.. See Niagararegion .ca for lake quality condition. Please note use of Beach stairs and beach with caution and at own risk. The lake and weather can affect the beach and this entry point. There is a Beach access at the corner of Macdonald at Bertie Bay road which is only three houses down with no stairs required.

Close to amenities like groceries, stores, golf courses, restaurants, bike trails, farmers markets, and only a short drive to Niagara Falls.

Great location and lovely hosts

We had a great time exploring Canada’s South Coast while staying at the cottage. Central to Niagara, Niagara on the Lake and Crystal Beach. Clean and just as described. Hosts were great with giving us tips on how to make the most of our visit. We really had a great stay!

The view was amazing, the host was very attentive and friendly. The house needs to be updated for example the bedding and towels were worn and old. The back deck was splintered and should be cleaned. Steps leading down to the beach were hazardous. Because of these things we would not return to this house

place itself was ok. but big problem with the owner billing us more than DOUBLE the advertised price and vrbo allowing it.After weeks searching for a place and selecting the best fit for guests and budget. we didnt studdy the invoice - the same way you dont study your receipt when leaving the grocery store. Not only were we charged more than double but occupancy was for 8 and we were charged extra for everyone beyond THREE People including my 2 month old grandson who paid EXTRA beyond the adverized weekly rate.

Extended weekend getaway

My family stayed here while we explored the surrounding area. It's a lovely home, with a view that is EVERYTHING. The kitchen had every cooking utensil we needed, the bathrooms had excellent water pressure. We enjoyed the walking trails and the patio overlooking the water. Pizza from Mabel's was amazing!

We had a wonderful time. The beach was beautiful and the water was shallow so great for young children. There's plenty of outdoor seating and a good size table. There are concrete stairs to the beach but you do have to rock hop the last bit. It could be a little difficult. The kitchen and common space weren't air-conditioned but there was a nice breeze and several fans. There were comfortable couches and plenty of room to spread out. The bedrooms were air-conditioned and the beds were comfy.Brad and Kim were really helpful and sent lots of info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We would recommend this property to friends.

Beautiful location

We had a great getaway in January. The cottage is large and well appointed. The views of the water were amazing and we enjoyed beach walks every morning. We would love to come back in the summer to really take advantage of the view and the cottage. Our trip was unfortunately cut short due to an illness in the family but we will definitely plan to come back!

Memorable Family Vacation

Weather was great except, it was so hot to be in the main living room/kitchen & front room. Window air conditioning is in bedrooms only (and they were not clean) The kitchen and living room area were a nice area to have the family all together. We covered the couches with our own throws. Bathrooms were decent. Beds comfy (we took our own bedding & pillows) Floors should have been cleaner and the windows as well. Beach was nice and water was great during our stay. It was something different our family did this summer and we made good memories. We had a nice time.

Spacious bungalow with a great view

We staed 4 days in mid October with a couple of unusually warm days. Spacious bungalow with large bedrooms, kitchen and 2 living areas. We had long walks along the beach. Brad was very helpful in resolving some issues.

Great long weekend getaway

We only stayed 2 nights (wish our schedules allowed more time) The house was very cozy and like others have said much bigger than you would think. Lake Erie was frozen over and it made for some amazing sights. Because of the season the area was pretty empty. The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked (not that we cooked) the beds were comfortable and great water pressure. Brad was very quick to respond to my questions. Probably the most communicative host I have ever had and would definitely say 10 out of 10. We are thinking about coming back in the summer as we have never been to the area before this trip and would definitely stay at this house again.

Wonderful Stay

Brad and Kim were great hosts. Their place is a Jem, the house itself is nicely decorated and cozy. The place is deceivingly expansive and large. The two washrooms are key, a lot of nice bright sunlight especially in the "studio" section with windows all around. My in laws, wife, children all loved it. We stayed in four two other places in the Lake Erie area, this was the best spot by far. The house is also pre-equipped with essentials,which is great. The view is amazing, we had a lot of fun on the beach as qell. Its shallow, has sand bars, great for kids, nice calm waters. I would definitely recommend this place, 5 stars. Great place, thanks. Great winter getaway

We stayed for a week in January, and the cottage was exactly as expected. It was cozy and had a great view of the lake. We had daily walks on the shove ice on the shore and along the beach where we were able at the protected beach area to the west. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised there were no books or board games at the cottage, but there was a deck of cards, and those came in handy. It was very quiet as the neighbouring cottages were empty, and we enjoyed the the privacy and solitude. We would certainly consider returning in the future.

A little disappointed

The layout and accommodations of the home were very good . The house had a terrible mold and musty smell . The windows are all full of mildew and mold and terribly dirty . Lots of dead flies around window seals . Grass was not cut where all other properties were nicely groomed . The access to the beach is very unsafe for children and anyone with accessibility issues . No handrails and huge boulders to overstep onto the sand beach . No other property had such unsafe access to the beach . Shame because the home itself is very quaint and cozy

Buffalo Bills weekend

Two couples visit. View was incredible. Lake Erie view. Nice beach to walk on. Sunset incredible. We were out and about so didn’t get to use the grill or patio much. Kitchen was not used to cook but looked like a great kitchen to use. Beds were comfortable. Some bathroom fixtures could use updating but it worked fine. Had an open and large great room right on the lake view. 30 minutes from Niagara Falls. Travel back across the border needs some planning. Some time it was easy and quick. Sometimes it was an hour long process. So plan accordingly overall a great place

Why they chose this property

We also use the cottage as much as we can. However, with kids sports, friends and family events we are away at times and like to see others enjoy. Our friends have stayed and loved our place. It is set up to be comfortable to enjoy cottage living.

We have wifi, cable, smart tv and such as it seems the kids and who am i kidding us adults all wish to be connected.

This is a nice cottage to ensure we manage expectations it is not a luxury high end home while the views are definitley 5 star. It is great for the spring, summer and the falls are amazing (it is heated and has a gas fire place).

Our beach has a nice sandbar and this bay is great for all activities. We love it here; its our slice of paradise. We hope you will also enjoy.
