About the host
Hosted by Catherine
We are a partially retired couple who, sadly, are not able to spend the whole summer season at this idyllic private retreat atop the Nuddick in Trinity, overlooking both sea and land!
It is much too spectacular a place not to share the glorious ambience with others!!

Why they chose this property
Up upon its cliffside perch, one can safely say that with its 225 degree views showcasing Trinity Harbour and the villages seen across from Commander's Keep, the Skerwink headland, the lighthouse, and the ocean beyond, this vacation home brags "one of the top five best views in all of Newfoundland" (as one of our local "competitors" once said to us!)
What makes this property unique
From Commander's Keep it is a two minute walk to the centre of Trinity, or to the boat launch for whale watching tours.
There is the huge deck from which you can hear the whales "blowing" as they continue to dive for the capelin when the cool night air is still.
From on this deck the street lights in town don't interfere with your private stargazing when the sky is clear of clouds.
From this deck and from the windows overlooking the town, you have the ideal view from up on the Nuddick of the entire town from Hog's Nose, past St Paul's Church, past the Rising Tide Theatre, all the way to Taverner's Point!!
