Ample off-street parking is available in the driveway. Please note that the yard and parking area are exclusive to main house renters and are not accessible to separate parties renting the apartment, unless you choose to rent Baby Bliss for extended family! Exciting updates have been made, including a new streaming TV package and enhanced Wi-Fi to enhance your entertainment options. Kindly note that the garage is not accessible to guests.

Perfect Spot!

My husband and I stayed at Bliss House with another couple and loved it! It is a beautifully restored home, with a lovely outdoor space. You can easily walk to town and the location is an easy drive to wineries. This was our first visit to Paso Robles and we will be back.

Beautiful and perfect accommodations for the five of us. Amenities....not a thing was overlooked, our stay could not have been better to include the location in this restored historic home from 1887.....We'd love a return trip!

Upon arrival a complimentary bottle of custom bubbles awaited us. There are dog bowls and a mat and even pet waste bags provided. We all felt at home here.

Perfect! Great location for downtown!

Lovingly restored with all the details a Farmhouse should have. The smallest things like a doggie kennel built under the stairs and a luxurious claw foot tub in the master bedroom just push it over the top!! My goal for my birthday celebration was to be within walking distance of downtown for wine tasting and this is perfect! There is also a separate space that can be rented called baby bliss if you should need more bedrooms that was also adorable! The outside space was also perfectly set up with gas grill, cornhole game and beautiful fire pit with comfy chairs to relax in. The wrap around front porch to enjoy your morning coffe on actually has rocking chairs! Will definitely be a destination place for our whole family!

Perfect Paso House

This beautiful cozy historic house was absolutely perfect for our wine tasting trip. We brought our 21 year old son for his birthday and his sister for her college graduation. We introduced them to the beautiful Paso Robles. This house was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked for making breakfast each morning. The location is the best part! We were a short walk into the square where we had dinner each night. We would absolutely stay here again and utilize the outside area more! We were so sleepy after wine tasting all day...go figure. I've already sent this listing to a few friends of mine who were looking for places to stay. The 2 bedrooms upstairs do share a bathroom but that was fine for my kids. We did bring one of the outdoor patio chairs into the TV room one night to watch a movie because seating was really comfortable for just 3 but who comes to the wine country to watch TV???? The master bathroom is absolutely beautiful, but I would caution anyone using the shower (which is a free standing tub with very high sides), to be very very careful getting in and out. This might not be the right house for people who have those physical limitations. Other than that, we will absolutely rent this place again. We would love to know if the apartment above the garage is a rental also? We usually come to Paso with 4 couples.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was rented for my birthday, unfortunately the morning of check in my husband got sick with Covid. At this point rental was paid in full for the 3 nights. We asked owner/management If there is anything we could do? The only option was IF rental could get rebooked they might give us a refund? But couldn’t guarantee. We paid $2300 for a rental that we never got to see..i had asked for a future stay, when house was not rented, because of Covid I would think exceptions could have been made? How about returning cleaning fees as this home wasn’t used??? Do not rent this house, owners clearly don’t care about their guests!!! This gives Paso Robles a bad rap...

Beautiful home w/ some hiccups

The Bliss house was beautiful as advertised, but there were a few hiccups at check in (code didn’t work - had to call back twice & ultimately they found a note on the file that the code lock was broken & needed attention... after we tried several different codes/approaches for about 30min) and the back door was not fully locked when we arrived, which got the weekend off to a rough start. The showers were confusing to operate - my sister and I never did get the upstairs one to work fully (but after having to call already for the lock I didn’t want to call back a third time), and apparently the backyard and driveway are shared with another rental on the property which wasn’t obvious when renting, so once other people arrived to stay in the second unit over the garage, we felt uncomfortable using the backyard. The house is next door to a mortuary which has a big motor home in the back of it & across the street from a church that is boarded up- kind of creepy. Since there aren’t window coverings over all of the windows downstairs it feels a bit exposed at night. The size of the house was comfortable for us - we had 3 guests, but I think it would feel cramped with any more adults as the living spaces are rather small. Overall, a nice rental, but I wish I would have known about the shared amenities & location specifics before renting.

Reviewer Comments: Absolutely superb...just be aware of two things: the gas station on the corner isnt an issue BUT every morning they run a gas-leaf blower to clean the lot and for me, that was frustrating. Also, there is a church behind the house...very cool, BUT they may have (like when we were there) an event where they put up big speakers and blared music all day. Nice that it was church-folk but loud and not ideal for our Sunday afternoon....

Beautiful property. Lots of room, complete kitchen, cable/streaming, Wi-Fi, big yard for dogs. Walk to city park and restaurants.Slight drawbacks - could hardly climb in and out of shower tub. Had to guess how to turn on the shower part. One time could not turn off water, had to find valves coming out of floor to turn off. Had to kneel on floor to reach the Microwave .

After a day of wine tasting we enjoyed a casual BBQ back at the house along with a friendly game of corn hole. The house was immaculate and well stocked. We found great coffee and gelato just down the street and the breakfast place on the corner (1/2 block away) was so good we went back Sunday morning too. Already exploring properties with them when we come back for a wedding next May.
