Come enjoy a quiet stay on beautiful Block Island. Fall and winter are a very peaceful time here. Beautiful sunsets, big open starry skies and ocean breezes will calm and soothe the soul. This is a beautiful time to come and be creative. Enjoy breathtaking sunset views with a glimpse of the ocean beyond from the large west facing deck.Lots of windows to view beautiful landscapes and allow for light and airy rooms. Short walk to Dories Cove and Graces Cove beaches. The house is currently for sale and we reserve the right to show the house during your stay by appt only. All leases will be honored should a sale occur prior to your arrival.

Top floor includes:
* Master bedroom with king bed, writing desk and stool, 2 arm chairs, closets.
* 2nd bedroom with king bed, rocker, writing desk and chair, closet.
* bath w/6ft. tub and shower.
Middle floor includes:
* Large fully equipped kitchen, 9 ft. counter to open dining with slider to deck
* Small den with TV
* Bath with shower
* Living room with slider to deck.

Lower level includes:
* 2 twin beds with lounge area, couch, TV and private bath.
* Walk out to covered patio.

Beautiful house on the West side

We had a wonderful time during our week long stay. We loved the location as it is very quiet and has great sunsets. The house is spacious and comfortable with a nice separate space downstairs apart from the upstairs bedrooms. We appreciated the dog friendly aspect of the house and were respectful to keep it clean. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Amazing Block Island stay

Crystals home was amazing! Her kitchen has everything that you would need or want which made meals a breeze. Home is spacious and gave everyone the space they needed. My family and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home is centrally located so if walking is something you enjoy it was very easy to walk down the driveway and take a left or right to find our next adventure. Would stay again in a heart beat.....

July getaway

My husband, dog, and I had a lovely time during our week on Block Island. The house is older but has modern amenities. The kitchen was very well provisioned and the portable A/C units in the upstairs bedrooms were very appreciated during the brief hot spell that we experienced. We liked being on the quieter side of the Island and enjoyed walking down the street to Dorie's beach for the sunsets.

Beautiful house on the West Side

We have rented many houses on Block Island over the years and this was one of the best. It's very clean and spacious with an incredibly well stocked kitchen and piles of great books to select for a good read at the beach. The outside deck is a comfortable spot to take in gorgeous sunsets. The only minor issues for us were some traffic noise (it's on one of the main BI roads) and very spotty wifi and cell phone service. Despite that, we would happily go back to spend another relaxing week.

Hi Rosemary, Thank you so much for your review. All true. It is a little noisy and the Wi-Fi and cell service is terrible. We hope to have the broadband connected by this fall which will be a great improvement for the Wi-Fi and smart tvs. And hopefully have mini spilts . for the bedrooms next summer Unfortunately we can’t do anything about the noise unless we are able to ban the mopeds(😖) Which we would all like to do Thank you again for renting with us and for leaving our home so very clean and organized. very relaxing stay with all the amenities from home!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Crystal's place. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. Crystal was very accesible for whatever questions we had. We visited during the pandemic and felt everything was well-sanitized. It was close enough to town but far enough that we didn't have to deal with crowds. We loved the outdoor porch for morning coffee and evening sunsets. We even brought a yoga mat and some weights and did some exercise there. It was a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it. We look forward to booking her place again!

Peaceful stay on the beautiful west side of Block Island

We loved staying at this house! It was our first time on Block Island, and we were so glad to have a rental on the west side, away from the hustle and crowds (but still a very short drive or bike ride!) Gorgeous views and sunsets, and a nice yard. Was great for our golden retriever. The bottom floor was great for our kids (ages 7 and 9). The only issues we had were that there wasn't AC in all the rooms (which was different than the listing), but the bedroom units worked great. It sounds like the owners are trying to put in mini splits - which would be great! We will certainly be back.

Great week on BI

Crystal's place was wonderful for a week on BI. The house had everything we wanted (except AC on one hot night). We enjoyed walking to Dorey's Cove for sunset and the close drive to everything else on the island. Several of us teleworked and there was plenty of space to spread out. Wifi was not great but we saw the fiber being put in so it will be soon. We'll have to come back again :). Thanks, Crystal.

Fantastic Block Island House

Crystal is a fantastic host who was very accommodating during the booking and check-in/checkout process. She provided a detailed list of everything provided in the house so we did not have to overpack for our stay. We took full advantage of the backyard grill for most meals and enjoyed spending time on the front deck. AC is provided which is a HUGE plus, as this is not always provided on Block. The internet worked perfectly for those who worked remotely during our trip. Phone service can be spotty in certain areas in the backyard, but service is clear towards the front of the property. We would 100% stay at this house again. Crystal made it a wonderful and EASY experience for us.

Peaceful and Charming

Great house in a great location. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The house is very close to Dories Cove, which is a fantastic place to watch the sunset. You have a view of the ocean to the west from the porch and the upstairs bedrooms. The yard is pretty, and well landscaped. It's big enough to play catch. There are lots of animals around, including many types of birds, friendly neighborhood cats, and even a chicken who comes by for occasional visits. The inside of the house is cozy and well-decorated. The kitchen is big, and has all of the appliances, and utensils you need, in good working order. Crystal is an amazing host. She's easy to contact, and a total sweetheart! She is also very knowledgeable about the island and can give you great tips about things to do during your stay.

Wonderful vacation, great house and very nice owners!

I have been spending summers in Block Island for over 45 years with my family while growing up in CT and my husband and I have continued the tradition with our 4 children who are now teenagers and young adults. Since my parents sold their house 5 years ago, we have been renting but weren't happy with the houses we rented until two years ago when we found this wonderful house to rent. This was the first house we rented on the west side of the island and the sunsets are amazing. The place is clean, stocked with cleaning supplies and great kitchen needs. The house is updated, roomy with a nice kitchen and living room area and three perfect sized bedrooms for the six of us. The three full updated bathrooms are a plus for our family and none of them have that damp feeling you get from some houses on the island that we have stayed at. We love the big deck off the kitchen with great views of the sunsets and a great place to relax after coming back from a day spent at the beach. The house is a 10-15 drive into town and a beautiful walk to New Harbor. We are so happy to be able to bring our two dogs with us on vacation and they also enjoy relaxing on the deck. The owners have always been responsive to any emails with questions we may have had. and check in to make sure we arrived safely and that everything was fine with the house. We are very relieved to have found the perfect house for our Block Island vacation and will continue to rent this house yearly.

Nice house, nice location

The property had everything we needed and lots of nice spaces for various people to have quiet time. The wi-fi was kind of slow but that's just the island. Hi speed internet is coming to the island and i assume this will improve that everywhere. Would recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time staying on West Side Road! The house was great and very spacious for our family of four. Relaxing & Peaceful

Crystal has everything you could ever need for a week stay on the island. Her home is cozy, bright and airy. Kitchen is well stocked for all types of cooks. Evenings on the deck with the sun setting and the night sky's are serene. Plenty of space for a family of 6 to all have your own space to retreat to. Will feel totally refreshed when you leave.
