Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.
Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.
Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

We had a wonderful time. It is a great location to all the tourist activities throughout the area. The guy who checked us in was so kind and spent much time explaining activities for us to do while on our vacation. We appreciated how quiet the resort is and family-friendly. Also, reasonably priced.

Just what we needed!

The cabin was very, very clean. We enjoyed having the kitchenette to make breakfast ourselves and the two bedrooms for the boys to have their own space. I walked to the lake each morning and we sat outside many evenings. It was close enough to the tourist destinations, but far enough away to feel private and calm! Would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was the perfect spot for my friends and I.

We loved the location of the cabins, it didn’t take us long to go anywhere where we wanted. We thought the the cabin was very clean and loved that it had enough space for all of us. We enjoyed walking around the lake and playing horseshoes. The dishes were really convenient to have since we cooked every meal. We all loved the trip so much, we are talking about planning another stay sometime soon!

Very Cozy!

This vacay was super smooth as far as finding and renting this cabin. The price was perfect. Easy check in, the rental was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Just a quick run to grocery store and we were set. Location was super close to all the touristy things we wanted to do. Short walk to lake, theres a playground, and even made friends with cabin next door. I was thoroughly impressed with this rental, would recommend it and stay again.

Beautiful

We were out in Rapid City for a baseball tournament and got so much more! The cabin was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. The lake was walking distance with lots to see. The people at check in were extremely helpful and worked with us when we needed to extend our stay one night. The owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely be coming back and would stay here again.

Very dated and the beds were horrible. Can get better rate just booking through campground. Decent location and nice people. Would not stay again due to it not being very comfortable.

Beds are difficult as some folks like a soft bed and some folks like a firm bed. We have the same problem picking one for ourselves!

Very nice cabins. Didn't realize that there is no table in cabin. That was a disappointment as I bring my sewing on vacation. Loved the deer and birds.

Nice Cabins

Our cabin was clean and cozy when we arrived. It’s easy to get to and both guys we spoke to in the office were helpful. Walmart was less than 10 minutes away and made for easy grocery shopping. We used the laundromat once during our stay and it was suitable. The atmosphere is nice and the lake is close by. We took our kids (11 & 9) paddle boating and they enjoyed it. It was a great location because everywhere we wanted to visit while here were within an hour. Area was never rowdy and was family friendly. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 is because of 2 things....poor WiFi and the large amount of wasps. My husband planned on getting some work done while we were here but the connection was never strong enough and we had trouble with iPads and phones running smoothly. It was disappointing. Now the wasps....During our stay, we killed 12 wasps inside our cabin, 3 wasp nests outside (2 on house & 1 on picnic table) and roughly 20-25 outside. We went thru a can of wasp spray in no time. We saw other people spraying outside their cabins as well. I’m not sure if there’s something that can be done about this but it does take away from the ambiance. Still, neither of these things ruined the vacation by any means. All in all, we enjoyed our time and it contributed to a wonderful vacation.

Our family loved this cabin. During our stay we explored Custer, Rushmore and Wind cave. We intended on renting a paddle boat on the lake but ran out of time. Very nice that each room had a box fan already in there. Our kids wants to come again next year
