ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
Built in 2004 and well maintained, this property is in mint condition. Located off of Bridge Street on a private way, the house is a three minute walk to the harbor, shops and restaurants. A two minute walk to Frenchmen's Bay and at low tide you can walk across the sand bar (hence the name Bar Harbor) to Bar Island (part of Acadia). Two parking places allows you to leave the car behind when you explore and enjoy Bar Harbor. Eat inside or outside as the house has a patio with furniture and an outdoor grill. Only 1.5 miles from Acadia National Park and the car-free carriage paths (great for cycling or walking).

My family and I had a great time staying here. We had one little mishap with the heat not turning on, but we were able to get it fixed quickly thanks to help from the owner. My sister is a pianist, so she greatly enjoyed playing the piano in the living room. The location is fantastic, we were within walking distance of everything in Bar Harbor.

The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, utensils, pot and pans etc. as well as very clean. We enjoyed having the laundry facilities at the home. There was a lovely deck and patio. The perfect location for our Bar Harbor visit. We were just across the street from the sand bar and walking distance to all Bar Harbor has to offer. Our host was quick to respond if we had questions. The unit was spacious, clean and adequately stocked. The beds were comfortable and quilts were provided to take care of the chilly nights. A huge plus for me was the amazing collection of books! I could have stayed forever to read them. Hope to return one day!
